On the other hand, Liu Feng was still earning Dao Points, a week had already passed since he had collected his first Dao Points.

A couple of days ago, somewhere in the forest,

They seemed to be bursting with vigor and life. He appeared to have become slightly taller as well. To confirm the findings, he did some workouts.

His strength and stamina appeared to have greatly increased. His awareness and eyesight have also improved.

Even though he was starved and weak a few days ago, now he was full of strength. He felt confident in his ability to hunt various animals. He had never hunted any animals previously or attempted to utilize his System on them until today.

He was currently wielding two sharp-edged wooden branches he had plucked from the trees as weapons. He decided to go hunting for some small animals. Despite the fact that he couldn't cook them because there was no fire, he considered using them to attract larger creatures.

He proceeded forward after clearing the dense grasses in his way. There was soon a rustling sound coming from a nearby shrub. This sound jolted him awake and heightened his senses.

Liu Feng discovered it was a brown rat-like creature. Except for its size, it appeared normal, but it quickly vanished as it saw his attention. More of these animals were soon discovered, but they all ran as soon as they spotted Liu Feng. Chasing them was ineffective as well.

After a few moments of looking around, Liu Feng came to a halt beside a bush and hid. There was a rattling sound after a few minutes of waiting.

A wolf with ash-grey fur with some jet-black hair patched around its neck had caught some rats and was going to consume them. However, Liu Feng's presence alarmed it, and it howled at him.

It didn't appear friendly at all, and it quickly turned to face Liu Feng, flashing its razor-sharp fangs.

Liu Feng was determined to kill it. With his wooden branches, he took a fighting position, but the wolf suddenly vanished from his view before he could respond, leaving the dead rats behind.

Despite the lack of visual evidence, the rustling sound made sure something moving across the grass. It was approaching him.

Liu Feng was so taken aback when he saw this, for a moment he thought of fleeing from there but that wolf, on the other hand, had decided not to let it go.
