Chapter 657: Defenseless Umbridge (Edited)

"Ha! It's Fish and Hermione!"

Inside Honeydukes, Mrs. Flume approached the two with a big smile on her face and hugged each of them.

"Hello, nya!"

(≧≦)

Fish greeted the Flumes energetically.

When they arrived in Hogsmeade, Fish's first stop didn't even need to be considered, it had to be here.

"Hello, Mrs. Flume, Mr. Flume." Hermione also greeted the two courteously.

The residents of Hogsmeade already knew Hermione, Fish's girlfriend, and Mrs. Flume cheerfully grabbed two heart-shaped lollipops from a nearby shelf and handed them to both of them.

"Here, for you, have a lovely Valentine's Day." Mrs. Flume squinted her eyes at Hermione and reminded her, "The darkest one is for Fish."

Fish's lollipop had a bloody flavor that only vampires and some curious wizards would try to buy, but Fish had eaten raw meat before, so naturally, he didn't dislike it, and even quite liked it.

Fish and Hermione licked the lollipop Mrs. Flume had given them and strolled hand in hand through Honeydukes. After collecting a bunch of candies, the two of them left Honeydukes.

"Fish, look," Hermione said, pointing at the window outside Honeydukes.

There was a big advertisement in the window with a photo of the ten escaped Death Eaters and a reward of a thousand galleons for anyone with information about the fugitives.

Fish licked the bloody lollipop in his hand and said nostalgically, "I've seen this before... There are also posters like this outside other shops."

The Firebolt had been handed over to Professor McGonagall, and Fish was no longer interested in making money.

"No, haven't you realized?" Hermione shook her head and said, "When Sirius escaped last time, the town was full of Dementors sent to capture him. Now there are ten Death Eaters out there, and there are no Dementors in sight..."

"True..."

Fish tilted his head for a moment, deep in thought.

"Then everyone must have been scared of Fish, nya!"

(`´)

Fish raised his head proudly and came to this conclusion.

Hermione: "..."

"It's possible, but I think..." she hesitated for a moment, calmly analyzing, "It's more likely that the Dementors have escaped the Ministry's control and have been recruited by Voldemort... Remember those two Dementors that attacked Harry during the summer holidays?"

"Oh..."

Fish nodded confusedly, then pushed the question out of his mind.

"Anyway, they can't defeat Fish!"

(≧≦)

"That's true." Hermione laughed and shook her head, not bothering to think about it anymore, as they walked through the village of Hogsmeade, arm in arm, without a care in the world.

"Hermione, didn't you say we should avoid others when we kiss?"

(?ω?)

Fish asked curiously, pointing to Roger Davies, who was publicly kissing his girlfriend at Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop.

"Well... um..." Hermione stammered for a moment, reluctantly explaining, "There are certain special circumstances where it's possible to avoid people... They do it on television, don't they?"

"So, is this a special situation?" Fish tilted his head and looked at Hermione's lips.

Hermione shyly and expectantly nodded, giving a mosquito-like "yes" with her voice.

And Fish lived up to her expectations and kissed her directly.

(つΦ3Φ)つ

Apparently influenced by them, the other couples in Madame Puddifoot's tea shop also kissed, and there was a snapping sound in the tea shop.

Fish and Hermione had stayed in Hogsmeade until late in the afternoon when all the students had to return to the school, and most of the couples, except for the two of them, had stayed until now.

After all, there wasn't a pink toad that appeared from time to time to scrutinize you and ask you to take out your belongings for inspection.

It's not that Umbridge didn't show up in Hogsmeade, but she came here for a while and then left.

Because Umbridge can't do anything here, outside of Hogwarts, even if she is the Senior Inquisitor of the Ministry of Magic, she can't punish a student for passing by "The Quibbler" in front of her...

Of course, being targeted by her after returning to school is another matter, so no student is foolish enough to do that.

When he returned to school, Fish saw a group of people gathered around the bulletin board, chatting about something.

Fish perked up his ears and instantly caught the message.

"It seems that Umbridge has issued a new educational decree... Why doesn't Fish go and give her another beating?"

(?ω?)

Fish wagged his tail and told Hermione, "Not so fast, let's see what she has forbidden this time." Hermione gave Fish an affectionate ear tug and then pulled him along to accompany her.

"Fish is here!" Everyone quickly moved aside.

Hermione shivered slightly, judging by the reactions of others, the educational decree seemed to have something to do with Fish.

Then she looked at the bulletin board and saw the following:

[Decree of the Senior Investigator of Hogwarts]

From now on, any student who violates the school rules (including but not limited to nighttime excursions, sleeping in class, not completing homework, etc.), the head of the House will be sanctioned accordingly.

The above rules conform to Educational Decree No. 28.

Signed: Senior Investigator Dolores Jane Umbridge]

"Umbridge is going after Fish!" a student next to him exclaimed indignantly.

Fish feared no punishment from anyone, just a fight, but if she was targeting Professor McGonagall, then Fish couldn't stay still.

But at the same time, Fish was also angered, someone who had never been kind, by doing so.

"Hermione... it's saying that if Fish violates the school rules again, Umbridge will punish Minerva, right?"

Fish's tail had already bristled, and he bared his white teeth in a deadly question.

"Fish, don't be impulsive!" Hermione hurriedly tried to calm down the furious Fish.

"I'm not being impulsive nya..." Fish's triangular ears pressed tightly against his head, and his green eyes gleamed with icy fierceness. "Don't worry, Hermione, I won't let Umbridge catch me."

Fish was determined to teach Umbridge another lesson!

Umbridge, on the other hand, had no idea that she was about to get herself into trouble.

The loss of her memory and the fact that Fish had been so quiet all this time had made her delude herself into thinking that Fish wouldn't dare make a move against her from the Ministry of Magic.

So, instead of worrying, Umbridge sipped tea in her office, satisfied with herself.

She was pleased to have devised such a trick, so that Fish McGonagall, a half-human, half-cat monster, would have to do as they were told.

Umbridge couldn't help but giggle like a little girl at the thought.
