Chapter 624: Fish also wants to be a teacher (Edited)

Upon hearing Hagrid's call, Fish gracefully halted his strikes.

Of course, this had to do with the fact that Grawp was so weak that Fish wasn't having any fun at all.

But to everyone's surprise, just as Fish stopped to look at Hagrid, Grawp, who had been rolling on the ground, suddenly attacked Fish.

"Don't do it! Grawp!" Hagrid shouted with horror on his large furry face.

And Hermione, Harry, and Ron yelled as a warning, "Fish! Watch out!"

The only reason Grawp dared to do it was because Fish had held back. After all, he was Hagrid's brother, and Fish had only wanted to fight him, so he hadn't hit him hard.

This made the simple-minded giant mistakenly think that Fish wasn't very strong, just fast.

On the other hand, Hagrid was negotiating with Magorian and the others.

"I warned you, Hagrid," Magorian said discontentedly, digging his hooves into the ground.

"Grawp already knows the error of his actions," Hagrid said, looking at the cowering giant behind him, "And I didn't expect Fish to fight him right away."

"Then, didn't I tell you...?" Magorian's tone grew more dissatisfied. "I warned you!"

"Wait... Did you mean the phrase 'to be prepared beforehand'?" Hagrid suddenly reacted.

"Otherwise?" said Magorian with a natural look.

"How was I supposed to know they were talking about this?" Hagrid shouted at Magorian in frustration. "Couldn't you have been more specific?!"

Magorian snorted disdainfully, and the other centaurs by his side had similar expressions.

And Hagrid, after yelling, quickly realized he was talking nonsense and that centaurs wouldn't give direct answers.

"Hagrid, what do you need Fish's help for?"

Fish, who had finished greeting the centaurs, approached and tugged at Hagrid's coat.

Hermione, Harry, and Ron followed Fish, looking at Grawp with curiosity and apprehension as he was being guarded by magical creatures.

"I want you to help teach Grawp, so he can become friends with everyone, and if he can learn the basics of English, even better," Hagrid said hopefully. "I believe if he can talk to people, he'll see that we all like him enough to want him to stay."

Once again, there was a snort of disdain from the centaurs and a look of "you must be joking" from Harry and the others.

However, Fish had an expression of interest on his face.

"Teach him to speak English?" Fish said with a twinkle in his eyes. "Leave it to Fish! Fish has experience!"

He patted his chest confidently and promised Hagrid, "I still remember how Minerva taught Fish!"

"That's great," Hagrid reassured with a smile. "It's late, we'll start tomorrow."

With that said, he turned to Grawp, who was still crouched down, and said loudly, "Grawp, see you tomorrow, behave yourself and don't cause any more trouble!"

Grawp let out a low growl, looked around fearfully (especially at Fluffy), and then reached out to Hagrid, trying to make him stay.

However, his actions were misinterpreted by Fluffy, and the three-headed dog immediately let out a deep warning growl, causing Grawp to retract his hand.

"Don't scare him, nya."

Fish stroked Fluffy's paw and then trotted alongside Grawp.

"Behave yourself, and Fluffy won't bite you. Let's get along well and be good friends," Fish tilted his head and warned seriously, "If you misbehave, not only will Fluffy bite you, but Fish will also hit you!" Fish shook his fist at Grawp.

Grawp looked at Fish with cloudy eyes, his simple mind had forgotten that the "kitten" who had punched him and knocked him down was actually the little one in front of him.

With a satisfied gesture, Fish jumped off Grawp's body and lifted the Tangle of Roots spell.

The trapped Grawp didn't dare to look at Fish over his shoulder, instead, he crouched down and glanced at Hagrid, seeking help.

Hagrid turned his head and ignored him.
