Chapter 614: Transformation (Edited)

As soon as Fish woke up on Saturday morning, he noticed that the sky was cloudy and that the sunrise was completely impossible to see, although, given the weather conditions in England, it is not uncommon to miss the sunrise.

However, it was a very dull day, and Fish could feel the air becoming very humid, especially in a cat-like form, and Fish's fur felt as if it were being sucked by something.

Fish knew that feeling, Hermione had explained to him that it was called static electricity and had made his fur stand up with a balloon when he was at Hermione's house.

But that's not the point, the point is that when the weather gets like this, it usually means a storm is coming, something Fish had experienced before.

So after finishing his morning routine with Harry and Ginny, Fish warned, "Don't go back to bed, nya, it might rain today, heavily, and there will be thunder, nya!"

(?ω?)

Fish was very excited, his "transformation energy" wasn't fully replenished yet, but it had been a while since it had increased, so he assumed it was waiting for the storm to come.

Lately, it had been raining a lot, but mostly light rain with occasional heavy rain and wind, but no thunder or lightning.

Harry and Ginny were a month behind Fish, but they soon felt the second heartbeat when reciting the spell, so after Fish reminded them, they didn't dare go back to bed but each took their potion box.

Twenty minutes later, Fish, Harry, and Ginny arrived at the abandoned girls' bathroom on the first floor of Hogwarts, along with Hermione, Professor McGonagall, Dumbledore, and the three Weasley brothers.

"Is this where the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is?" George and Fred asked, furrowing their brows. "How do you think You-Know-Who found this place in the first place?"

Fish ignored both of them, or rather... Fish didn't understand what they were trying to say.

He headed for the innermost sink and made a "hissing" sound.

Immediately, the faucet emitted a dazzling white light and began to spin rapidly. Then, the sink itself moved and slowly disappeared from everyone's view, replaced by a very thick pipe that could allow a person to enter.

"Yah-hoo!"

(≧≦)

Fish jumped first, followed by Hermione. The two had spent a lot of time here playing on the slides during their nights at Hogwarts.

Then came the more adventurous twins, followed by Harry, Ron, and Ginny, and finally Professor McGonagall and Dumbledore.

"The truth is, this is a great place for activities," Fred said as he looked at the hidden underground space after coming out of the pipe.

"But only Harry and Fish can open the Chamber of Secrets, no one else can enter without speaking Parseltongue," Hermione explained. "And it's still a bit far for Gryffindor and Ravenclaw to reach the first floor, house-elves could make us enter, but then most of the students would have to gather in the kitchens first."

It was a possibility that had been considered, but in the end, it had been abandoned, and Hermione didn't want to keep bothering the house-elves... although it was something the house-elves were willing to do.

While they talked, they reached the Slytherin chamber, which Fish had opened again with Parseltongue.

"That's very Slytherin-like," commented George as he looked at the reliefs of the various snakes and the green mist in the chamber.

"The lightning hasn't arrived yet, so let's rest here for a while." Dumbledore waved his wand and conjured a large round table and nine chairs with red velvet cushions.

Later, a house-elf brought the food to the table, and Fish was the first to jump onto the table, taking the nearest seat and swiftly and elegantly sweeping the food from the table.

The others also approached the table and had breakfast, although Harry and Ginny were somewhat apprehensive and had little appetite, setting down their knives and forks after a few bites.

Upon seeing this, Professor McGonagall explained to them again what to expect during their transformation, while George and Fred shared their experiences.

"Don't worry, with Fish around, the Animagus transformation seems much easier," Hermione reassured. "Anyway, when I transformed, the discomfort was significantly less than what the book said."

"Nya?"

Ψ(??~??)

Fish, who was focused on his food, looked up confused, then nodded along with Hermione's words, vaguely agreeing, "Although I don't know what the situation is, it's right to leave it to Fish!"

With that, Fish went back to his food.

Just as Fish finished the last bite of his omelette and slumped back in his chair, patting his stomach, Fawkes suddenly appeared on Dumbledore's shoulder.

"The moment has arrived," Dumbledore said.

Fish, Harry, and Ginny stood up and took out their respective glass jars; the potion inside had already turned blood-red. The three of them stepped back a bit and almost simultaneously drew their wands and aimed at their hearts...

"Amato, animo, animato, animagus" ×3

After reciting the spell, they drank the potion they held in their hands almost simultaneously.

Harry and Ginny groaned and fell to their knees, while Fish felt no discomfort at all and even had time to lick his lips and savor the taste.

"So, these potions aren't very tasty, nya."

(?ω?)

Fish commented and then tossed the bottle aside.

Although his body didn't react, Fish could feel that by drinking the potion, the transformation energy in his body instantly filled up, and now he could assume a new animal form whenever he wanted. However, he still had no idea what he wanted to be.

Even though Hermione had said that the transformation might not be under their control, Fish decided to first see what Harry and Ginny would become...

Well, mainly Ginny because according to Dumbledore, it was most likely that Harry's Animagus form would be a stag, just like his Patronus.

Instead of being too busy transforming himself, Fish trotted over to George and Fred, sticking his head out and looking at Ginny, who had fallen to the ground and was groaning.

Everyone was a little surprised that Fish didn't respond at all after drinking the potion. After all, so many strange things happened to Fish, and they had heard Fish talk about transformation energy, so they quickly refocused their attention on Harry and Ginny.

As Hermione had said, although they didn't know how it worked, having Fish nearby made it much less difficult for others to transform into Animagi. Soon, both Harry and Ginny's bodies started to take on the characteristics of animals...

"Eh?" Fish said after looking at them for a moment, scratching his head in confusion and mild surprise. "The animal Ginny transformed into looks like Harry's Patronus."

(?ω?)

Upon Fish's words, Ginny, who had transformed into a doe, staggered up from the ground, and not far away, the stag Harry had become also stood up and exchanged a glance.

"Hehehe~" George and Fred let out a strange laughter.

Then, an irritated Ginny lifted her hind hooves and kicked each of them.

The twins stopped laughing and fell to the ground, contorted faces covering their stomachs.

After seeing Harry and Ginny's Animagus forms, Fish prepared to transform as well. With a sudden thought, he activated the transformation energy in his body.

Instantly, Fish's body was covered in a brilliant but non-blinding emerald green glow, which then started to expand and faintly take the shape of a figure...
