Chapter 349: More important... (Edited)

After talking about Fish's white tiger form, it was Professor McGonagall and Dumbledore's turn to explain to the cat.

"Minerva, before Fish fell asleep, he saw a Fawkes that looked like a ghost, what was that?"

?(●?ω?●)?

Fish tugged at Professor McGonagall's robe and asked curiously.

Even though he knew that the phoenix had been summoned by Dumbledore, and that Dumbledore knew he was lying, Professor McGonagall was still kept in the dark, so he still had to pretend he didn't know.

"Oh, that's the Patronus Charm, a very advanced spell, one of the most powerful and ancient defensive spells in existence, and very effective against Dementors."

Professor McGonagall replied with a smile as she stroked the cat's head with her hand, as she usually did.

"Does Minerva know about it too?"

He didn't care if it was effective against Dementors, what he cared about was whether or not Professor McGonagall could summon that pesky phoenix, which would be crucial if she caught him off guard when he challenged her.

"Of course."

Professor McGonagall had no idea that what the kitten was thinking about was preparing for his next challenge, so she answered Fish's question unsuspectingly and, as usual, took the opportunity to teach him some extra knowledge.

"Many wizards can only conjure a formless Patronus, which offers limited protection, unlike a Corporeal Patronus which has great defensive and combat power, and varies from wizard to wizard."

Professor McGonagall pulled out her wand and demonstrated to Fish.

"Patronus!"

A silvery white glow erupted from the tip of Professor McGonagall's wand, quickly forming a silvery white kitten.

Since the Patronus was made entirely of light, it had no pattern, but from its appearance, it looked like a tiger-spotted cat like her Animagus Form and Fish.

Under Professor McGonagall's control, the cat-shaped Patronus flew and hovered in front of Fish.

"Nya! A flying cat!"

?(●?ω?●)?

Fish looked at the silver and white cat with a twinkle in his eyes and poked it twice, and felt a strange sensation in his fingertips, a bit like the sticky candy Aunt Molly used to give him.

The kitten then tried to squeeze the cat's paws, and found that it wasn't as soft as it looked, but very hard.

"Minerva~ Fish wants to learn this spell nya!"

?(●?ω?●)?

Yes Fish had only been interested in the Patronus Charm in preparation for his challenge to Professor McGonagall, now he was really interested in the Patronus Charm.

How could he not be interested in a "cat" that could be summoned at will, fly in the sky and help in a fight?

"It's not going to be easy to learn this spell, and it's going to be harder than when you were practicing your transfiguration."

Professor McGonagall warned beforehand that, although Fish had always been quick at mastering spells, the Patronus Charm was different and many powerful wizards were not always strong enough to use it.

"Fish isn't afraid of hard work! And Fish is smart enough to learn it."

?(●ΦωΦ●)?

The cat, who had never had trouble learning a spell before, replied confidently.

"Very well then," Professor McGonagall patted Fish's head, "We'll start practicing the spell tomorrow."

"Why wait until tomorrow night? Fish wants to learn it now nya."

?ω?

"You had a fight today with your tiger form against a dementor, so get some rest." Professor McGonagall said, "Practicing the Patronus Charm is very tiring, you should rest today and learn it again tomorrow when you are refreshed."

"Very well then..."

Fish rubbed his stomach,

He felt a little hungry again after Professor McGonagall reminded him.

...

The next day, Fish got out of bed early, looking at Harry, who was still asleep, a little hesitantly.

The kitten wanted to run to Professor McGonagall and learn how to summon a flying cat, but he had the job of protecting Harry....

It's just that Sirius Black hasn't been seen at all lately, so Fish was getting a little impatient, and he has a lot to do today....

What to leave Harry alone for the day?

What if Black showed up at just the right time?

The kitten was still undecided.

"Yes nya!"

∑(●⊙△⊙●)

Suddenly, Fish had a great idea.

Since Harry was so afraid of Dementors, wouldn't it be better if he learned the Patronus Charm with him?

So the kitten quickly got out of bed, ran over to Harry's bed and pushed him awake.

"Um... What's wrong?"

A sleepy Harry opened his eyes to see a blurry figure standing at the foot of his bed.

He couldn't quite make out the figure without his glasses, but the cat ears twitching on the top of Fish's head were very recognizable.

"Fish? What happened?"

Harry asked suspiciously as he touched his glasses from the edge of the bed, put them on and sat up.

"Fish has a deal with Minerva today to learn the Patronus Charm, does Harry want to come with me?"

?(●?ω?●)?

The eager little cat skipped a long explanation that he thought was unnecessary and asked directly.

"Patronus charm? what's that?"

Harry, who had just woken up, was still a bit confused, but after Fish asked such a nonsensical question... he was even more confused.

"Minerva says it's a spell that can deal with meow Dementors." Fish explained, "It's the white and silver phoenix that Albus summoned yesterday.... Oh, Harry was unconscious, so you probably didn't see it nya."

The kitten inadvertently stabbed Harry again.

Harry looked slightly embarrassed, but quickly turned his attention back to the Patronus Charm.

"A spell that can stand up to Dementors? Can I learn that too?"

Harry was distressed at being completely defenseless against Dementors, and now that he knew there was a way to deal with them, he was eager to learn it.

"I suppose it's alright... Isn't it Minerva's job to teach us spells nya?"

?ω?

Fish cocked his head to the side, he didn't really see a problem with taking Harry to learn magic, he just cautioned, "But Minerva said that spell is hard to learn, many adults can't learn it nya."

Clearly, those problems weren't going to bother Harry, a Gryffindor.

"Come on!"

Harry quickly got out of bed and got dressed, he couldn't wait to learn the Patronus Charm.

So, without waking the others, the two left the dormitory together and headed downstairs.

"Fish, wait a moment."

After reaching the second floor, Harry called out to the kitten who was still walking downstairs.

"What's wrong nya?"

?ω?

Fish asked suspiciously as he turned around.

"Aren't we going to Professor McGonagall to learn the Patronus Charm?" Harry pointed in the direction of Professor McGonagall's office, "I think her office is that way."

Then he saw a surprised look on Fish's face.

"Don't you eat breakfast nya?"
