Chapter 199: Lockhart the Photographer (Edited)

Although the snake was never found, Fish's school life continued.

One noon, after finishing his lunch, the cat was going to take his usual nap by the lake when Malfoy's voice suddenly sounded behind him.

"Fish, wait a minute."

The bruises on Malfoy's face from the beating Harry and the others had given him long ago had faded, and he was holding a camera that looked much more advanced than Colin's, followed by a dozen Slytherin students, mostly girls, plus Goyle and Crabbe, who were trailing behind him.

"Can you take a picture with us?"

Malfoy waved the camera in his hand.

Of course, Malfoy had asked his "almighty" father for this camera, in fact, he had already received the camera, along with the seven 2001 Nimbus he sent to the Slytherin Quidditch team.

Before Malfoy could get a picture with Fish, he got into a fight with Harry and the others and had to wait for the bruises to come off to come take a picture with Fish, but lately Fish had been out at night looking for the snake, and Malfoy was too proud to talk to Fish about it in front of the rest of the other Houses, so he had to wait until today, when Daphne and the girls forced him to come find Fish.

"No nya!" ?ω?

Fish looked at the camera in his hand and crossed his arms over his chest, refusing decisively.

"Why, why?" questioned Malfoy indignantly, "Didn't you take pictures with other people before?"

Had Fish finally been influenced by the Gryffindors to be prejudiced against Slytherins as well?

"Fish is tired of playing with cameras nya."

Fish gave an answer very much in keeping with his character and it left Malfoy speechless.

He had grown tired of being dragged around by a bunch of people to have his picture taken, and now he wasn't interested at all.

Malfoy was slightly relieved to hear that Fish had no problem with them as Slytherins, and then he looked at the other Slytherins behind him with distress....

Especially the group of girls who had forced him to come.

"Stand aside!"

Daphne Greengrass pushed the useless Malfoy out of her way and stepped in front of Fish.

"So Fish doesn't mind if we take pictures next to you?" asked Daphne, who didn't give up, after thinking about Fish's character and habits, "Now you're going to take a nap by the lake, aren't you? We won't bother you, we'll just take pictures next to you, okay?"

"No problem nya."

Fish hadn't found it interesting because he had to stand still while his pictures were taken, and the clicking was quite annoying.

Since Daphne said she wouldn't bother him, of course he didn't mind.

"Do you need me to help you brush your hair?"

Daphne offered immediately, having seen Sharpay and the girls comb Fish's hair before, she was envious.

"Yes, yes!" Fish responded with a quick nod and a very welcoming smile.

Although Professor McGonagall's little comb can automatically comb hair, different people have different strengths and techniques when combing hair, making it cooler.

So, Daphne quickly grabbed Fish's hand and pulled him towards the outside of the castle, glancing at photographer Malfoy to follow her before leaving.

The camera Malfoy had asked his father for was much more advanced than the one Colin had, and most obviously the shutter clicked much less.

Although it still couldn't escape Fish's sensitive ears, but it didn't bother him as much as it used to.

Daphne was sitting on the grass by the lake with Fish in cat form on her lap, a small silver comb in her hand, smiling as she brushed Fish's fur, and a steady stream of Slytherin wizards at her side.

The tool man, Malfoy, wasn't too far away to take pictures of them.

But soon, Pansy, who had had her picture taken with Fish, came and replaced Malfoy as photographer, so that he could take some pictures with Fish as well.

All the Slytherins tried to keep their hands to themselves during this process, not wanting to disturb Fish who was napping, even Crabbe and Goyle who were always awkward.

The other three Houses didn't think much of it, after all, most of them had already had their picture taken with Fish, and not discreetly, but with him on their shoulders and arms, so no need to begrudge at all.

Sharpay and the others, who had been robbed of the privilege of combing Fish's hair, didn't bother Daphne, and though Gryffindor and Slytherin were always at odds, there was an understanding on Fish's part: we were all in it for the cat, so let's do what we can, no need to trip her up.

The only one who wasn't happy about that, or rather jealous, was Lockhart, who came out of nowhere when he heard the shutter sound.

He was similar to Colin Creevy in that he was passionate about taking pictures, only one liked to photograph people and the other liked to be photographed.

The two would probably get along just fine if Fish hadn't beaten one up in the classroom.

Lockhart had come in a hurry to have his picture taken, but when he saw Fish, he was immediately discouraged.

He had realized that, as long as he didn't do anything wrong, Fish would still be the same little fan who liked to listen to his stories, but psychological shade wasn't an easy thing to overcome when you got punched in the face.

Y...

After seeing Lockhart appear, the group of Slytherin who were silently taking pictures shot him a warning look, which made Lockhart hesitate even more.

Although Lockhart, as a man, appeared to be proud and arrogant, he was actually self-conscious, but his vanity made him ignore that self-consciousness for the most part.

And he also clearly knew that as long as he didn't go too far, those professors would choose to be patient.

Besides, Lockhart's main reason for teaching at the school was to bamboozle young wizards into becoming fans of his and gain Harry Potter's popularity...but the first goal had been aborted because of Fish.

As for the teachers at the school who already knew him, Lockhart had no intention of having a good relationship with them, and it was impossible to change their views of him anyway, so why bother?

Lockhart's thinking was clear, he knew exactly who he could and could not mess with at school.....

Fish was an accident.

Slytherin purebloods, on the other hand, were the ones not to mess with.

Lockhart was born into a half-blood family and had two older sisters before him, neither of whom became witches, so he grew up favored by his witch mother who perceived him as something completely different from his two Muggle sisters, which is the reason for his current morbid vanity.

For this reason, Lockhart's reverence for these ancient pureblood families was so deep that he had always been more reserved in the presence of Malfoy and the other members of the "Holy 28".

After a moment's thought, he put on his perfect smile, which he had practiced for years, and approached Pansy, who was taking pictures.

"What's wrong?" Pansy asked coolly.

This level of indifference meant nothing to Lockhart, who smiled broadly and said, "I just saw you were having trouble taking pictures, so I thought I'd ask if I could help."

No bragging and no wallowing, Lockhart was doing just fine, and with the addition of his pretty face, even Pansy, who despised him deep down, couldn't help but relax her attitude at that moment.

"What's wrong with the way I take pictures?"

Pansy frowned slightly, not immediately believing Lockhart, whose reputation as a show-off was notorious among the students, but because of his handsome face and the fact that it was Fish, she didn't throw Lockhart out directly.

"The angle," Lockhart used his hands to compare the photo frame, facing Daphne and Fish in the distance, he said confidently, "The angle of the photo is also very important, although the characters in the magic photos will move, there is is a big difference in the final results of photos taken at different angles."

Seeing Pansy's skeptical expression, Lockhart held up both palms with a confident expression.

"Trust me, no one knows more about photography than I do."
