Chapter 116: Fish Busy (Edited)

As darkness fell, so did the Hogwarts curfew, and Fish was still trying to do his homework surrounded by a crowd of girls.

Little did the poor kitten know that, without the tutelage of the girls, he could have finished his homework long ago.

In a corner of the common room, Hermione looked over at Fish, who was biting her quill with a frown, and gave her a silent look of apology, before ducking her head behind her book.

I'm doing it for your sake, so don't blame me....

Hermione apologized in her mind.

"Finally, I'm done!" ?(●ΦДΦ●)?

With the "help" of the group of evil women, Fish finally finished his homework around 10:30, dropping the quill in his hand and running out of the Common Room.

The girls who had tutored him, and the girls who were tutored along with him, helped him pick up all his work and handed it to Seamus and Dean, who were playing Snap Blast, to help carry Fish's work back to the dormitory.

"Put it aside."

Seamus nodded without looking up, it hadn't happened once or twice before, the boys in his dorm were used to it.

And they weren't without benefits.... For instance, when they couldn't finish homework on time, they could use Fish's homework as a reference, or when they had no idea.

It's just that Fish's handwriting is a little harder to read because of his catlike handwriting.

On the other hand, Dumbledore, who had been waiting outside, had silently put a tracking spell on Fish as soon as Fish had stepped out from behind the portrait of the Fat Lady.

If it had been a normal invisibility cloak, Dumbledore would not have had to go to the trouble of using the same tracking spell he had used when he had first met Fish.

But Potter's invisibility cloak was different, it was in all likelihood one of the Legendary Deathly Hallows, and Dumbledore's detection spells couldn't see through its invisibility, so Dumbledore had to put a tracking spell on Fish, which only gave him an approximate location.

And the duration of this tracking spell is not long, otherwise why would Dumbledore wait outside for so long?

Unaware that the mean old man had cast a spell on him, Fish was on a tight schedule.

First he ran down to the basement, had Comey and the others fill his magic bag with food, and then ran back up to the third floor without stopping, throwing most of the food, and the spider legs he had cut yesterday, in front of Fluffy.

Fish didn't stay to eat with Fluffy, but after playing with him for a while, he ran up to the second floor, grabbing his magic bag, and knocked on Professor McGonagall's office door.

"Minerva~". ?●ω●?

Without waiting for Professor McGonagall to open the door, Fish pushed the door open and ran in, then jumped up and ran to Professor McGonagall, who had just gotten up from her chair.

"Good boy."

Catching Fish with ease, Professor McGonagall patted him on the head and asked, "Didn't you bring homework again?"

"Minerva is so smart, meow!" (●>ω<●).

Fish grinned and rubbed against Professor McGonagall's neck.

"You little guy!"

Professor McGonagall smacked the kitten on the head angrily and then pulled her cat ears.

Now she was no longer forcing Fish to bring her homework for her to check every day.

After all, Fish had been very good lately, doing the homework correctly, and although her handwriting was as disastrous as ever, Fish had exceeded Professor McGonagall's expectations by doing the homework for so long, so she didn't ask her for more.

"Minerva, I came for a snack! I just got it from Comey and the others." (つΦωΦωΦ)つ

Fish took the hot food out of his magic bag and placed it on Professor McGonagall's desk.

"Yes, let's eat together."

This was not the first time this had happened, Professor McGonagall returned to the table with a smile, sat down across from Fish and ate dinner with him.

However, Professor McGonagall only tasted a little before stopping. She didn't have the appetite or the capacity for eating that Fish had, and if it weren't for Fish, she wouldn't have been in the habit of eating late at night.

So, after a token bite, Professor McGonagall took a glass of cherry juice and drank it slowly as she watched Fish gulp down the food and occasionally helped her cut up the meal.

"I'm full, meow!" ?(●ΦωΦ●)?

Soon, most of the food Fish had brought went into his own stomach.

"Come and wipe your mouth and hands."

Professor McGonagall dragged Fish to her side, wiping his greasy mouth and palms with a handkerchief.

"Better use magic, meow..."

Fish muttered under his breath, feeling it was unnecessary.

"Spells are good, but you can't rely on them too much."

Professor McGonagall tried not to use spells in her daily life because she wanted Fish to get used to a normal lifestyle, but Fish quickly learned to use the new lazy cleaning spell after he started school, and he used it very well.

Professor McGonagall could not force Fish to refrain from using spells even when he was alone, but he still did so when they were together.

After cleaning Fish, Professor McGonagall patted her lap, and Fish jumped up and landed on her lap like a little cat, curled into a ball.

Taking a book of fairy tales from her desk drawer, Professor McGonagall opened it and placed it in front of her, then stroked Fish's back with one hand as she read the story in a soft voice.

Fish listened to the story, purred in pleasure and closed his eyes, falling into a drowsy state.

After reading a story, Professor McGonagall gently closed the book, returned it to the drawer and continued to pet Fish, teasing her tail and ears from time to time.

It took Fish an hour or so to get up from Professor McGonagall's lap.

After stretching, Fish stood up, rested his front paws on Professor McGonagall's neck, stuck out his tongue and licked her face a couple of times, then rubbed his little head near her chin.

"Meow~". ?(=ΦωΦ=)?

Fish jumped off Professor McGonagall's body and waved goodbye to her before heading for the door.

"Don't stay up too long, go back to bed early."

Professor McGonagall warned as always, and as always Fish did not listen.

Once outside Professor McGonagall's office, Fish found a corner, put on the invisibility cloak, turned back into an invisible cat, and ran out of the castle.

He hadn't yet finished his plan for revenge, so he couldn't go back to bed early.

Dumbledore, who had been waiting for a long time sleepily, revived.

At last, the brat was out!
