"Do we follow Yuxuan?"

"I don't think she has any ties with the principal, Bluey."

"Fine. But you might as well."

"You have a point."

"She is not trained in physical things. Medical skill-wise, though, not bad. Not bad at all. Quick. Follow her!"

Xuanmei silently sneaked out the front door, watching Liu Yuxuan closely. She stayed near dark places that were not too far from her. In this case, in a tree as Liu Yuxuan came to a stop near the combined garden below the apartment blocks.

Searching the garden, Liu Yuxuan finally stopped as she pulled out a small rabbit from the bushes. She stopped by the bookshop, walking inside quietly.

While the door was open, Xuanmei sneaked in.

"HaRui, I need the key."

A man in dressed in light pink with a slightly tanned skin tone came out from within the shopkeeper-only door.

"Ah, sorry, donut. I don't have it right now. It's with Ai LiAn."

"Ai LiAn? Alright. I'll be right back. Take care of the little guy." Liu Yuxuan ordered as she placed the rabbit on the countertop.

"Sure."

Liu Yuxuan pushed open the doors, and just as Xuanmei was about to head outside the store to follow her, she heard a cough from behind her.

"Man, that shortie really has no observation skills."

Xuanmei turned around, catching a glimpse of pink before she felt someone behind her.

"Hi! Welcome to the store. Would you like to browse my wares?"

Xuanmei narrowed her eyes.

"Don't worry," Bluey quipped, "He's not very powerful. He just has very high observation skills. Added to the fact that he had used his skills wisely to sense the room, he could just barely see you."

"No thank you." Xuanmei rejected.

"Oh, really?" HaRui asked, eyes shockingly cold.

He glanced at the door. "Well, mind helping me out? Whip out some acting skills, will you? Questions come later." HaRui's posture relaxed, placing a warm smile on his face as he headed back to the counter.

"Hey! Tree! I'm back, sorry! I just forgot to get something." Liu Yuxuan pushed open the door.

"Tree?" Bluey snickered inside Xuanmei's head. "Talk about weird nicknames, but then again, since 'HaRui' is taller than the suspicious girl, it kind of makes sense, I guess."

"Everyone's taller than her, and also, if she can't even sense me, I doubt that she would even be very strong." Xuanmei mentally replied.

"True."

"Oh?" Obviously sensing the tense atmosphere that happened just as she entered, Liu Yuxuan awkwardly introduced the two to each other.

"HaRui, my this is another one of my roommates. Xuanmei, this is the shopkeeper of this specific bookshop."

"The only bookshop in this area." HaRui reminded Yuxuan.

"Right. Anyway, yeah. Uh, she just moved in today."

"Nice to know. By the way, what did you need again?"

Yuxuan muttered a small "Oh," as she ran to get the item.

"It's on the house!" HaRui shouted as Yuxuan shot out of the shop.

"Now, back to why you were stalking your roommate?"
