Changed chapter 4 since my tiny brain cant figure out how to make it work. my last 2 brain cells dies trying to make chap 4 plan work out. needless to say, they failed.

A dark room appeared before Espeon.

[Welcome to the training grounds. Here is a brief tutorial on the training grounds.]

[You may summon any creature you have fought with, any creature you have unlocked, or summon any item you wish as long as a) you have it or b), you unlocked it. The system creatures are the only foes you can summon.]

[They go from one star threats to 10 star threats. Their difficulty changes with you. A one star threat is something you can kill instantly. Starting from 3 stars they are on par with yuor strength. Their ranks, however, typically stay the same but you can unlock the same or a upgraded version of the creature at higher levels. The ranks go from F-X ranks, F is the lowest and X is the highest (F<E<D<C<B<A<S<N<X). 2 3 4 Foes you beat the first time give double rewards. Currently have star goblin, Large Fang Rat, Weak Goblin, and Normal Slime, stars normal fang rat, weak slime, horned rabbit, one small rabbit as foes to train against. Each can drop items such gear or GP. You also common Iron weaponry use. All are currently F- ranked with only a F F+ goblin.]< p>

"Two quests? Nice. The titles are quite good. Alright, how can I fight?"

A screen opened up. It shows two boxes, |Enemies|Weapons|

Espeon chose 3 star F+Goblin too beat two quests at once.

He also chose an F ranked Iron spear as his weapon to test his physic control.

The Goblin spawned 30 feet away from him. It had a crude spear, a sharp stone tied to a thick tree branch. It was green, obviously, and had a hunched back and an ugly face with short, crooked tusks coming out of its mouth. Its thin arms and legs made for a pitiful sight.

The Goblin yelled something and lunged forward, with surprisingly fast speed, and thrust its spear forwards.

However, Espeon was not simply waiting for the Goblin to act. Although he was slightly shocked at the goblins speed, he knew the goblin despite its pathetic looks was still 4 stars and so he didn't let his guard down. He used his teleport,(He could teleport at max 5 meters away twice before being too tired) and teleported 5 meters away, behind the goblin, used physic to control his iron spear to stab the goblin through the brain. It managed to cut of the goblins ear and narrowly miss the skull. The Goblin turned around to leap at Espeon but the spear was still affected by Espeon and it came around, this time piercing the skull and killing the goblin instantly.

Although the fight seemed easy, it actually exhausted Espeon quite a bit, especially since it was his first fight today.

"Whoa..."

Espeon was overwhelmed by the system messages. "Upgrades?"

[Yes. At level two you will be able to refresh your body if you so desire after a battle]

"Well then obviously yes, what are you waiting for, upgrade!"

[Upgrading...]

[0%...18%...55%...88%...98%...99%...100%... Upgrade complete]

Immediately Espeon felt much better, none of his previous exhaustion could be felt anymore.

[Remember you can disable this function in the system settings]

"Ok. I don't know why I would ever disable this though..."

Then a system message caught his eye.

"Wait why is a goblins difficulty level higher than the poison snake even though its grade is lower?"

[Because you can kill the snake more easily]

"Oh...I...still don't get it..."

[In simpler terms, difficulty is based on how hard it is for YOU to kill it but grades are how strong they are in general]

"Oh, Ok, I get it now."

"Leave training grounds"

[Confirm leave?]

[Yes][No]

"Yes."

Then a flash of light and Espeon returned to the real world.

In a far place beyond Earth...

"Incredible! None of these subjects has the pestilence! This means that most likely this planet truly it devoid of pestilence, and maybe even the galaxy if those people could be trusted."

The voice came from a mountain, on a small, tiny insignificant little planet, once destroyed by a purple bean creature most evacuated the planet, leaving only a few behind. However now it is completely deserted, the strange being clad in black reanimating the dead and killing with a mere touch, suddenly appearing into a small house.

"More research is needed. Perhaps the pestilence doesn't yet exist here in the universe, but might later. Tis is a good day indeed, even without lavender..."
