Chapter 1

"Gera!" A blonde-haired man yelled from a pier. He was holding a bucket of large fish and had a large smile on his face. Moments later, a shark fin sliced through the surface of the water. The man threw one of the large fish into the air and a huge great white shark came out of the water to receive it.

"There you are!" The man laughed as he began to pet the shark, "I haven't seen you for a while, you must have had your children huh?"

The shark 'smiled' and gently used its jaws to pull the man into the water.

"Woah!" The man giggled as the shark, Gera, swam circles around him, Yuka Undyne. The happy atmosphere was quickly broken by the appearance of a man in a suit.

"Mr. Undyne, may I speak to you for a moment?" The man in the suit asked much to Yuka's dismay, "Can't you see I'm busy Ronald? I've told you countless times, I will not be selling Gera to you or your organization."

Ronald frowned, "Mr. Undyne, isn't this a bit selfish of you? You're stopping research that could benefit humanity for centuries! All because of what? You care about this damn shark? How can we be certain she wouldn't eat you if she was desperate enough? How do you even know she loves you?!" Ronald yelled, causing Yuka to get out of the water and punch him in the face.

"Watch your mouth when speaking about my daughter, Ronald. I'm certain Gera has love for me and if the time comes where she has to eat me, then so be it. I'd rather die to Gera than live the rest of my life in regret that I sold her to a scumbag like you. Now get off of my property."

"HAHAHAHAHA! YOU REALLY ARE AN IDIOT!" Ronald laughed as he pulled out a gun from his suit jacket, "Now, I'm going to ask you one final time Mr. Undyne, how much for the shark?"

Yuka was surprised at the sight of a gun and his fight or flight began going wild. Yuka gritted his teeth before shaking his head, "She's not for sa-"

*BANG*

*BANG*

Yuka couldn't finish his sentence before Ronald shot him twice in the chest. The recoil sent Yuka into the water and Gera swam around his injured body.

'Damn, I guess this is the end of our journey together, huh Gera? I'm sorry I can't protect you any longer but I want you to be strong...' Yuka hugged Gera one final time before the cold grip of death enveloped him and he could've sworn he heard the voice of a crying child.

-----

"Wake up, Yuka Undyne." a woman's voice said to a transparent blue figure. Yuka 'opened' his 'eyes' and was in front of the most beautiful woman he would probably ever see.

"Ah, uh, where am I?" Yuka stuttered which made the woman laugh, "You're within my domain, I like to call it Neoatlantis."

Yuka looked down at his body and sighed, "So I'm guessing you're God then?"

The woman nodded and smiled, "In a way. I'm the Supreme Goddess of Life and Water, Drayana. It's nice to finally meet the man I've been keeping tabs on."

"You've been watching me?" Yuka asked, a bit weirded out. Drayana nodded, "Indeed, how could I not? Your love and care for marine life made me very interested in you, Yuka. That is why I've brought you both here."

"Both?" Yuka asked as something crashed into his legs. Looking down, he saw the transparent figure of a small child, "G-Gera?"

"PAPA!" Gera hugged Yuka's leg tightly and he embraced her, "GERA!"

Drayana smiled at the duo before she spoke again, "Allow me to explain why I have brought you both here."

Yuka and Gera looked up as Drayana continued to speak, "I think you've both have had a difficult time, so I've decided to reincarnate you both. I won't tell you where but have faith that you both will know and remember each other."

"Thank you." Yuka said with a smile before he and Gera vanished in a white light.

[March 23rd, 2006, Bottom of The Atlantic Ocean]

In a blinding flash of light, a person appeared on the ocean floor. His gray hair floated in the water and his deep blue eyes scanned the vicinity.

"I'M AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN?!" The man, Yuka, yelled. Panic began to set in but his rational mind soon took over, "Wait, I can survive the pressure just fine and I'm speaking without water getting into my lungs..."

Yuka took a deep breath in and noticed his lungs weren't getting filled with water. He touched the side of his neck and felt gills, Yuka couldn't help but laugh.

"She made me amphibious! Judging by my teeth and skin, I assume I'm some sort of shark-man kind of thing?" Yuka lightly touched his razor sharp teeth before a question sprouted.

"But where is Gera?" Yuka looked around to make sure she wasn't asleep or lost but then he heard movement, and it was something huge.

'Papa! Hiii!' Yuka heard Gera's voice in his head and when he turned around, an absolute monster of a shark was behind him.

'WOAH! GERA IS THAT YOU?!' Yuka asked with skepticism laced in his tone, 'Of course, papa. Who else would it be?'

'But, Gera, you're huge!' Yuka exclaimed. Gera was around 350 feet long with dark blue scales, two pairs of crimson eyes, and three rows of razor sharp teeth.

'I KNOW! TEEHEE!' Gera laughed as she flipped. Yuka smiled and shook his head, 'I wonder where we are. Judging by your monstrous size and appearance and my unique traits, I don't think we are on our planet, hell I don't think we are even in our universe!'

'Hm, so then what should we do papa?' Yuka thought for a moment before speaking, 'I think we should try seeing what we can do. I don't know if you can feel it, but I feel something dormant within me.'

'YES! I feel that too, I wonder what it is...' Gera said as Yuka closed his eyes. He was beginning to use his newfound shark-man abilities by feeling the earth's magnetic field to find out where the poles are.

'Alrighty then, Gera, we are going to Antarctica!' Yuka said as he beginning swimming at speeds comparable to a speedboat. Gera followed him and asked, 'Why are we going to uhhh, that place papa?'

'To test our abilities of course. Antarctica has the lowest human population, so we can basically do what we want with minimal interference.'

'Ohhhh! Is there food on Antarctica?'

'I doubt it, unless you want to eat penguins.' Yuka laughed but Gera didn't know what a penguin was so assumed it was something disgusting.
