Improvement

'With the increase in the level of immortal body, my regenerative powers have also improved. I can now even regrow a small cut off body part such as a finger or a toe, which I wasn't able to do before. Also the amount of chakra required for regeneration has been reduced. The previous injury which took me my full chakra reserves to heal, can now be healed using half of my chakra. This is as a result of increase in level of immortal body and also increase in the chakra reserves,' James contemplated.

'Also I am stronger then Steve aka. Captain America now. I am able to lift a maximum of 10 tonnes of weight. This is quite an improvement. One more thing that is the most beneficial is that I have a perfect control over my physical strength even after such a drastic improvement. Its like I already have the muscle memory of using such level of strength. Seems like the angel has also done few modifications to my body. Saves me a lot of time of practicing and adapting to such strength. I wish I had such a perfect control over the chakra too,' James thought.

'In case of my Deva Path ability, I have unlocked the Planetary Destruction ability and as the angel had said I have surpassed Nagato by reaching level 3 in this ability. The cooldown period per use of the ability has been reduced to three seconds and maximum of 10 seconds. As for after the use of Planetary destruction the ability will enter the cooldown period of two minutes,' Although there were restrictions on the ability, James was quite happy and was waiting for the day when he would be able to use the Deva Path ability without any cooldown limit on it.

James now focused on the limitations he discovered while fighting the Destroyer. The amount of chakra he used for each ability he performed was more then the amount required, leading to quite a wastage of chakra.

'This problem can be solved by increasing the chakra control and doing the leaf training, walking upside down on the wall or walking on the surface of the water, etc.,' James decided.

Second limitation he found out was that, he had no battle experience, due to being a normal person before transmigrating, nor he had any style of physical fighting.

'I regret not joining any Gym back then. Should I join a fighting dojo or something and learn some basics of fighting?' James was not sure.

Third limitation was lack of a proper attacking ability. Deva Path ability is quite a good and destructive ability, but it is mainly focused on physical attacks. Although James had no idea about the future abilities of the Deva Path after the increase of its level, but currently its a major limitation for him, if he has to fight an opponent who is quite immune to physical damage.

'Only if I had a weapon like Thor's hammer,' James sighed.

'Other then this the constant use of teleportation ability puts a great pressure on my mind. The Psychic Shield only provides a strong barrier that protects my mind from any external intrusion but it doesn't increase my mental strength,' James was deep in thought.

After having cleared everything about his abilities, James focused on his identity in this world.

The original owner of James's body was a orphan and grew in an orphanage until he was adopted by a happy couple at the age of five. The adopters were a 70 year old couple, who lived in Manhattan. James lead a quite normal life after being adopted and was cared a lot by his parents. But as they say that all the good things come to an end; James parents left him at the age of 18. It was a natural death due to an old age. James was grief-stricken, however as time stopped for no one, he moved on with his life like an ordinary person would.

At the age of 18 he took a job as an accountant in a small company and with the money left behind by his parents and money earned through his job, he was leading quite a comfortable life. He had quite a few friends due to being a quite and less expressive type of person.

Two years passed by and now James was 20 years old. He had decided to go to New Mexico on a short trip in the memory of his parents. He had a lot of memories here with them.

'However who knew this would be the last trip he would ever make.' James thought.

Sadly James didn't get to inherit all the memories of the original owner of the body. He was only provided a short summary of the life of the original owner of the body and details of his job, acquaintances and friends.

James sighed and stood up from the bed. He walked towards the mirror and was surprised to see an approximately six foot tall person with black hair and blue eyes with a balanced figure, not too muscular nor too lean looking back at him.

James was surprised, 'This is me!' This looks like an improved version of me compared to my previous life. Looks like my previous self missed a major update.'

After a bit of scrutiny, James decided to go out and buy a new phone and eat something too as he was hungry. This was his last day in New Mexico, so he roamed a few places and enjoyed the culture.

He was back in his apartment before 10 at night. Lying in his bed he silently stared at the ceiling. Today's day was an emotional rollercoaster for him. He had transmigrated to the marvel world, he fought, he suffered pain and made some new friends. Everything felt so unreal yet real at the same time.

He was mentally exhausted after experiencing all the events and finally drifted to sleep.
