Omnipotent Odyssey

Omniscience; the ability to know and understand everything, everyone and all there is to both existence and nonexistence. Omnipotence; the ability to do anything both sensible or not. It is the capability and authority to do as one please when one pleases. However, do these two really grant freedom as one expects. My name is David Stone, I am nigh-omnipotent and nigh-Omniscient. However, I do not think I am free. Responsibility is a bitch. ××××××××××× This is not a rewrite of the fanfiction, I just wanted to post it here on this account. Jane Truman

Mother boxes were Omniscient and above all nigh-omnipotent in what they could do to the extent that you could actually say that they were omnipotent.

It was a good thing for him but he didn't want that sort of knowledge within him. He wanted to enjoy this new life. The power was much appreciated but the knowledge wasn't needed.

"No wait, the knowledge is still separate" he thought, realizing what had just transpired.

His main concern was being Omniscient. It was a good power but it was a sure way of him losing interest in the universe which means he wouldn't enjoy this universe as he hoped he would.

But thankfully, it wasn't like that. It seems that he was clueless until he needs to know.

"But where am I? " He asked

Ping

"That…  makes sense" he thought before relaxing into the bed below him.

It made sense that he was in a hospital, everywhere smelled like drugs and also where else did he expect a new born baby to be.

"What are you doing? " one of the nurses asked her colleague

"Trying to feed him" the nurse replied as she walked up to the crib that was positioned on the far side of the nursery

"Jane, he's a mutant, do you want to die? "

"Its also still a baby, if it dies, do you want that on your conscience..  Also what if the mother wants him, how do you explain to her that her baby died because we refused to feed him" the nurse replied as she reached into the crib and carried the fragile baby.

As small as any other and possibly cuter than most she had seen however, the tattoos that ran down his body made it obvious that the baby wasn't normal.

Despite her kind intentions, her heart beat frantically in fear that the rumors surrounding Mutants may be true. She believed that everyone was dangerous, mutant more so.

But she also understood that unlike most, some Mutants don't have the ability to control their abilities. A baby for example, she couldn't tell what its ability would be but she knew that nor matter what, it wouldn't be able to control it as a baby.

She steeled her heart and held firm in her resolve as she brought the bottle to the baby's mouth. Believing that nothing would happen to her.

As soon as the bottle made contact with the baby's lips, she saw it's eyes snap open to reveal a set of golden pupils. The child really was strange but she couldn't let that strangeness affect her duties as a nurse.

"Jane Truman, 32 years old, single mother…  this is strange" the baby thought as it observed the lady.

This wasn't even information he asked for but it was automatically given to him. He knew her entire life story from when she was conceived to when and how she will die.

He knew it all just by looking at her. Honestly while this wasn't what he wanted, he could see how this was a very good ability though he could also see why it would affect his future relationships.

"Also I guess I am in the Marvel Universe…  talk about hitting the jackpot" he thought as he fed.

He didn't want to think much about the fact that he was currently being feed but it was what it was. He could either accept it or choose death.
