The following day, Peggy and Jarvis entered the Stark Industries New York Facility, a sprawling complex of gleaming metal and glass. Inside, they were greeted by the sight of Anton Vanko, a brilliant physicist known for his unconventional methods and eccentric personality. Peggy wastes no time in cutting to the chase, her eyes narrowed with determination.

Peggy addressed Anton Vanko, "Mr. Vanko, we require your expertise. We have reason to believe that Nitramene is in play, and we understand that you may be able to provide us with some insight."

Vanko raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And what, may I ask, is your interest in such a perilous substance?"

"This is a matter of utmost national security," Peggy stated firmly. "We must gather every detail about Nitramene."

Vanko stroked his chin thoughtfully, considering her request. "I understand. Nitramene is unique in that it emits Vita Radiation, which makes it incredibly dangerous. Unfortunately, only one organization has the means to weaponize it, and that is the Roxxon Corporation."

After she met with Vanko, Peggy knew she had to act fast. She headed straight to the SSR office and entered the file room, scanning the labels on boxes until she found the one she needed: Project Rebirth. The box was heavy, and she struggled to pull it down from the shelf. Inside, she found a Vita-Ray Detector, a tool that could detect Vita Radiation emitted by Nitramene bombs. Peggy took the detector and carefully placed it in her pocket.

When they arrived at the Roxxon Refinery at night, Peggy stepped out of the car, turning to Jarvis. "Wait here, Jarvis. I'll handle things from here," she stated, her tone firm and unwavering.

Jarvis nodded and kept a watchful eye on the area, scanning for any signs of danger, as Peggy moved toward the refinery.

With her enhanced strength, she leaped over the fence with ease and landed gracefully inside the refinery. Her senses were on high alert as she cautiously made her way forward, scanning the area for any sign of danger. Suddenly, she spotted a guard patrolling the area. Without hesitation, she swiftly approached him and with a precise strike to the back of his head, he crumpled to the ground unconscious.

While moving silently through the hallway, she heard voices coming from an office nearby. Peggy crept closer, pressing herself against the wall to avoid detection. Listening intently, she heard two men discussing a deal involving the Nitramene bombs.

As Peggy crouched outside the office, eavesdropping on the conversation between the two men, Jarvis's voice suddenly crackled over her radio.

"Peggy, we've got company. A truck's approaching the refinery, and it's not looking good," he warned.

Peggy's heart skipped a beat. Was the truck carrying more Nitramene bombs? She had to find out. "Stay put, Jarvis," she replied, trying to keep her voice calm. "I'll see what's going on."

Peggy burst into the office and found herself face to face with the two men she had been seeking. She drew her revolver and pointed it at them. "Tell me where the Nitramene bombs are," she demanded.

One of the men remained unfazed by her threat, and Peggy couldn't help but notice the strange Y-shaped incision on his neck. He spoke to her in a robotic voice, aided by a voice synthesizer, "Peggy Carter, Leviathan will come."

Peggy's eyes narrowed as she asked, "Who are you?"

The man smiled and introduced himself, "I'm Leet Brannis - the man who stole Howard Stark's inventions."

Peggy's heart raced as she processed the shocking revelation from Leet Brannis. She stared at the man in disbelief, but there was no time for further questioning. Suddenly, Brannis dropped the bomb. She could hear the ticking of the explosive device, and her heart felt like it was about to jump out of her chest. "Jarvis, bring the car around now!" she called out frantically into her radio.

There was a tense pause before Jarvis replied, "I'm on my way, Miss Carter. Just hold on a bit longer."

Peggy's eyes flickered back to Brannis, who was grinning as he watched the countdown on the bomb. "You're not getting away with this," she growled at him.

Brannis just laughed. "Leviathan always wins," he taunted, before turning and making his escape.

Peggy's used her full strength and speed as she burst out of the refinery and leaped over the fence. She scanned the area and saw Jarvis's car parked nearby, ready for their escape. She sprinted towards the car and slid into the passenger seat.

"Go, Jarvis, go!" she yelled as he revved up the engine and hit the gas pedal. They screeched out of the refinery just in time to see the massive explosion that rocked the facility.

* BOOOOM *

Peggy's mind raced as she watched the fiery blast devour everything in its path. She knew that they were lucky to have escaped, but she also knew that they couldn't let their guard down. Not when Leviathan was still out there, waiting to strike again.

"We need to regroup and figure out our next move," Peggy said to Jarvis, her voice laced with determination.

"Right you are, Miss Carter," Jarvis replied, his eyes glued to the road ahead.

The next day, Peggy and Jarvis sat at a booth in a small diner, both nursing cups of coffee. Peggy had a look of concern on her face as she filled Jarvis in on the previous night's events. "Leviathan," she muttered. "I have a feeling this is just the beginning."

Jarvis listened intently before excusing himself and stepping out onto the busy New York streets. Once he was a safe distance away, he pulled out a sleek communication device and dialed Howard Stark's number. "Mr. Stark, it's Jarvis," he said urgently. "We have a situation."

"What's going on, Jarvis?" Howard's voice crackled through the device.

"Ms.Carter was right. It's Leviathan. She's going to need our help," Jarvis replied.

There was a brief pause before Howard spoke again. "I trust Peggy can handle herself, but keep me posted. And Jarvis, be careful. We don't know who we can trust."

Jarvis nodded, tucking the device away. He made his way back into the diner, determined to support Peggy in any way he could. "Ms.Carter, we need to talk," he said, sliding back into the booth. "I've got a few ideas about how we can get to the bottom of this Leviathan business."
