With a struggle, Azazel lifted himself from the cold metal surface of the flight deck, gripping tightly onto the railing for support. A wave of discomfort washed over him, triggering another forceful expulsion of blood. He found the strength to examine his stomach, where a mark - as large and severe as a clenched fist - was indented with cruel precision.

In the harsh light of the flight deck, he raised his eyes to meet Val's. His gaze, while narrowed in both pain and focus, bore no hint of fear. Instead, it held a grudging respect. His voice strained yet steady, echoed through the deck, "You! You possess a power I cannot ignore, a truly remarkable power, I acknowledge that."

Observing Val's casual demeanor, as if merely taking in the sights, ignited a firestorm of anger in Azazel's heart. His voice thundered across the deck, "Don't mistake your luck for prowess, just because you've managed to land a single punch."

His teeth ground together, and he shouted, "I will put you back in your place, you insignificant whelp."

[A/N: How much I want to write here - I will show you the immensity of heaven and earth, puny brat.]

A smirk played on Val's lips as he rolled his eyes, dismissing Azazel's threat with a simple, "How ironic!"

Without wasting another moment, Val launched himself toward Azazel, utilizing his superhuman speed. The flight deck turned into a blur of colors as he closed the distance between them. As he neared his Azazel, he aimed a powerful punch, targeting his face.

Anticipating this, Azazel harnessed his teleportation ability. One moment he was there, and the next he had vanished, only to reappear a few feet away. He had sidestepped Val's punch with such seamless fluidity that it was as if he had simply dissolved into thin air and reformed away from the line of attack.

Azazel observed as Val recoiled his punch, the latter's arm returning to his side in a swift motion. Seizing the opportunity, Azazel harnessed his teleportation ability once again, vanishing from his current location and materializing within striking distance of Val.

Then, Azazel delivered a punch aimed squarely at Val's face, before promptly teleporting away. He moved with such speed and precision that Val was left with no window of opportunity to react, let alone retaliate.

* WHAM *

Once more, Azazel employed his teleportation ability, this time reappearing at a different angle relative to Val. Like a shadow flickering at the edge of one's vision, Azazel swiftly emerged to land another powerful blow on Val's face.

The moment his knuckles connected, he was gone again, dematerializing before Val had the chance to retaliate.

* WHAM *

Azazel, once again, executed his teleportation ability to perfection, appearing beside Val from a fresh angle. His fist shot out towards Val's face, a lightning-fast movement that was gone as quickly as it came. This became a rhythmic dance as Azazel repeated the sequence — teleport, strike, vanish — a flurry of well-timed movements that unfolded in a matter of mere seconds.

* WHAM *

Azazel materialized a few paces from Val, a triumphant sneer curling his lips. "So, you managed to land one hit," he scoffed, his words seething with contempt, "But you can't even evade my attacks. Just another overconfident mutant child, aren't you?"

As the dust swirling around Val began to settle, Azazel's gaze fell upon a sight that stunned him. Instead of finding Val crumpled on the ground in pain or unconscious as he'd anticipated, he found him standing tall. A smile unfurled on Val's face as he took in Azazel's wide-eyed shock. He responded, his voice laced with unwavering confidence, "Overestimate myself? Nah! I'm quite aware of my strength."

* BOOM *

An abrupt shockwave rippled through the air as Val launched himself toward Azazel with incredible speed. The sheer force of his acceleration caused spiderweb-like fissures to sprawl across the flight deck beneath his feet.

In what felt like less than a heartbeat, Val was standing before Azazel. His face was a mask of stoicism as he aimed a well-calculated punch squarely at Azazel's face.

Azazel, a mutant alive for centuries and refined himself through relentless self-discipline, rapidly composed himself. Sensing the oncoming blow, he used his signature teleportation ability to evade Val's attack just in the nick of time. In the blink of an eye, he had vanished from his original spot, only to reappear a safe distance behind Val, successfully thwarting the attack aimed at him.

* BOOM *

Azazel swallowed hard as he watched the flight deck's railings and several nearby crates shatter into fragments, all due to the sheer force of Val's punch. Unbeknownst to him, a subtle tremor of nervousness had begun to creep into his previously unshakeable resolve.

Val's eyes flickered to Azazel behind him. In a split second, he spun around and rocketed towards him. His fist was already cocked, primed, and ready to unleash another strike.

Azazel narrowly escaped Val's onslaught, teleporting away just in time. He materialized some distance away, perched precariously atop the flight deck railings.

Azazel's gaze shifted back to where he'd left Val, only to find his space already occupied. Val had moved with an uncanny speed, prepared to strike Azazel once more.

In a blink, Azazel vanished again, reappearing atop a nearby jet. He barely had time to draw breath when he was forced to teleport yet again. Val, relentless in his pursuit, had reached the apex of the jet just a fraction of a second later.

* BOOM *

A fierce explosion erupted from the fighter jet, a result of the intense pressure unleashed by Val's punch. Turning on his heel, Val spotted Azazel atop an elevator, having teleported there to evade his assault.

A wicked smirk spread across Val's face. With a sudden burst of energy, he launched himself towards Azazel, cleaving through the air. He reappeared in front of Azazel, relentlessly pressing his attack. Yet, time and again, Azazel slipped away, disappearing from Val's grasp using his teleportation just as the attacks were about to land.
