Chapter 147: The 1st Student

Half a month later.

After Erik had made a few mischiefs in New York City, he was finally given a nickname - Magneto.

Then, he meets a mutant who deliberately approaches him.

After a few days together, Eric was able to get a positive reaction from his partner, who introduced him to Hellfire and met the Black Queen.

He was a very capable man, and when he joined Hellfire, he was immediately taken seriously.

Jean Grey.

To be precise, this girl is not a student at the university, but a clandestine visitor to the university classroom.

She has no control over her powers and has not been to school since she awakened at the age of ten.

Fortunately, her parents loved her very much and did not change her significantly because of her awakening, which made her feel extremely happy.

Charles nodded with a smile and said, "Yes."

"Excellent!"

Jean Grey smiled, and although she wanted to jump for joy, her good family upbringing meant that she only clenched her fist lightly.

"You're the first student."

"Eh? Ah!" Jean Grey froze, not knowing what to make of it.

A little embarrassed, Charles turned his head to the side and began, "Don't worry, there will be more and more."

Jean Grey nodded.

"Come on, let's go over there."

Charles reached out and pointed to the small lake in the manor house and, after a half-circle around it, sat down on a bench a dozen metres away, hidden by the branches of a large tree.

"Sit down, Jean."

Charles patted the seat beside him.

Jean Grey sat down and looked out at the calm lake in front of her, her heart slowly calming down with excitement.

Charles held out his hand to Jean, who hesitated a little.

"Don't worry, it's all right."

Charles said with a smile.

Jean Grey placed her hand in Charles' palm and said with some uncertainty, "Can I really control my power?"

"No one is born with control. A baby learns to walk, it often takes many tries, and when we awaken to our powers, we are like a baby just learning to walk, we need to try again and again, right?"

Jean Grey nodded, but was still a little worried, "But I can't control it, it hurts other people."

The girl was kind.

Charles looked at her gently and said, "I will help you."

He shook Jean Grey's hand firmly and said, "My father once told me that if you have been given a power, it proves that you have what it takes to master it, and all we have to do is practice and then master it fully."

Squeezing his eyes, he smiled at Jean Grey, "Though sometimes it takes a little help."

"Have you had help too, Professor Charles?"

Jean Grey was a little curious.

Charles smiled and said, "Yes, my father helped me until I mastered my powers."

Jean Grey was a little envious, not of the fact that the other man had such a father, but of the fact that the other man was in control of his own power.

"Jean, show me your power."

Jean Grey hesitated a little, but nodded and began to show his power, while Charles began to use his own, feeling his opponent's powers in detail.

The next instant, Charles felt a wave of mind power that began to invade his head.

Is this ... telepathy?

Charles was surprised, one might even say surprised.

He touched Jean Grey's mind power with his own and the two began to talk to each other.

Jean Grey was overjoyed. Although Charles had already introduced her to his powers during the tour of the school, it was only when she touched Charles' mind power that she realised just how powerful the young man in front of her was.

The other man could maybe really help her!

The power of the mind, the power of telepathy, and the power of the spirit.

Jean Grey shows Charles his power.

Although Jean Grey's display of power is impressive, Charles is keenly aware that there is a greater power hidden within her body.

Charles told Jean Grey of his findings, and Jean Grey herself somewhat puzzled.

After a moment's silence, Charles said, "If you agree, I will use my powers to touch this power."

Jean Grey did not hesitate and nodded.

She had sensed the power of Charles.

Charles explored the power with the power of his heart and when he touched it, he was shocked.

The power was strong, stronger than he could have imagined.

No sooner had he explored it further than the power rose to the surface, and the other her, hidden in Jean Grey's heart, was finally sensed by Charles.
