[Chapter—22]

Groaning as I hammered the ingot I sighed for the hundredth time this day as I threw the lump of silver back at the smelter.

' learning blacksmithing on your own isn't easy huh?…mostly due to it being a physical skill…' I thought as I brought up the blacksmithing skills level.

[Blacksmithing Mastery—Lv-37]

Smiling at that I got back to it as I dropped the silver liquid into a mould letting it cool for a bit before I grabbed the hot piping ingot and started hammering it taking out all the impurities.

' good thing that with each level up I gain knowledge and insight on how to better my craft. I should probably start forging weopons instead of just milking the system into giving me free knowledge by just smelting and hammering at an ingot.' i thought before I grabbed the ingot and put it at the forge.

Looking at the time i frowned.

' its already been a day?…i should connect with Jericho…' I thought as I put away the smithing gloves and closed my eyes feeling the two connections that I had to 'my' soul, finding Jericho's soul was easy as it was weaker than my demon's souls by a huge margin.

Immediately I started thinking of what to do and finally decided.

' I should mutate him as I enter his body, it will awaken the X-Gene in his body and strengthen it…' I thought before I did exactly that sending my power through the connection was an easy endeavour.

—Random Hospital|New York.

Lifting my upper body as I exhaled the sterile hospital air I started looking around my vicinity while also feeling my body and finding no threats around me I was about to begin and check this bodies status but before I could I felt my brain ache before pain assaulted my body making me groan.

Groaning as pain that should have knocked out even the most resistant to pain out I waited it out as I felt my body start heating up, my eyes water, my hair fell on the bed with new white hair replacing it, my bones twisted and groaned, my muscles started spasming and my body started breaking apart before solidifying on itself and this process continued for 10 solid minute's.

—A little while later.

With my eyes closed I felt the pain that riddled both my mind and soul I smiled before I opened them and found my skin which had become tanned all of a sudden, I felt stronger and my thoughts flew faster inside my head and all around I felt better.

'atleast my ability mutated the entire body…' I thought before I decided to finally get off the bed and walk to the wardrobe finding my clothes but found them bloodiedin certain parts.

' god damn it…' i thought with a groan before I grabbed them and started putting them on.

A bit later I was draped in jeans, a grey hoodie and some sneakers.

' where my t-shirt is, nobody knows…' I thought with a shake of my head before walked towards the door to my hospital room.

' wait who is even paying the bills for this shit?…' I wondered as in Jericho's memories he had no parent or guardian that could pay this.

' not my problem anyway…I'm just using the body for my convenience.'

Breathing in the sterilized air I thought.

'Status.'

•[X-Gene]Mitosis[SSS+]: User is able to create copies of himself into any amount as long as there is enough 'energy' to allow so. copies will be under complete control of the main body. Copies are able to think for themselves, have sentience and personality of their own while being under complete control of the user.

—Copies will be able to make copies of themselves also for a higher cost then the original.

—Copies now have a complete 'organic' body meaning that they are living beings down to their cells.

—You are able to duplicate anything with you when you create copies.

—Copies when they die will transfer knowledge, abilities and skills to the original if they had gained then before their death.

•Hive-Body[A+]: A Mutation caused due to your X-Gene which allows user to connect with his copies for an indefinite amount of time and also when main body dies its soul and main consciousness will be implanted to a random copy already created before hand to cheat death.]

' oh? I even gained a mutation besides my X-gene?, That's good. I wonder if I could further mutate myself….' I thought before I decided to look into that later.

Looking at the door Infront of me I immediately opened it and walked out to the busy hallways of the clinic and made my way to the elevator.

' I wonder what I should do, I could go to my base but that would be dumb as I want my identities to have seperate lives for my plans.' I thought.

Standing Infront of the elevator I clicked the down button and waited thinking of ways I could further my plans.

As I entered the elevator that just opened I started looking through my other human body Nathaniel, I was using that body to level up my crafting and blacksmithing skills and creating stuff I could then sell in the hellplanes when I go back.

Standing in the elevator I waited for a couple seconds and when it opened I thought that I could go Scot free but as soon as the elevator door opened a woman stood there waiting.

Now if this was any other woman I wouldn't have looked into it but in the split second that I had used to glance at her I immediately recognised her.

Red hair, beautiful face and an hourglass figure that is just to die for and some have probably died for.

' fuck…' I thought as I looked at the fucking black widow in a nurse attire who looked at me and frowned.

' she couldn't be here for me right?…no there is no way this is a coincidence, they must want something from me…probably information as this body doesn't have anything else of worth that they know of and that I know of.

Playing it cool I didn't even glance at her after recognising her and tried walking past her but then I felt a hand on my arm which immediately made me stop.

Breathing in, in that second I looked back at the woman with the most genuine expression I could muster and said.

" Urhh?, Excuse me miss can I help you?.." I asked with an easygoing aloof expression as I stared at her smiling at me and ignored the screen that appeared Infront of my face.

" Mr Stein's. Why are you out if your nursing bed?, You shouldn't be up yet, you haven't been permitted to" The woman said with a shift if her expression as she went from smiling to stern and worried.

' she's good' i thought as I shifted my own expression to one of understanding.

" Oh Nurse don't worry, I have just been released by Doctor Malbrew, he said that since my injuries seemed to have healed even before being administered inside the hospital and just being here for a checkup I was good to go" I said with a shrugg playing this entire thing off while ignoring the screens telling me that I leveled up acting.

" Oh. I see…then have a good day Mr Stein's." The black widow said with a nod and smile but looking at her closely I could see the frown that threatened to come out beneath.

' oh then she really was here for me…' I thought before I gave the black widow a wave and started walking away.

Making it to the front of the hospital as soon as I got out I heard.

" Mr Stein's, may I have a word?" I heard a eloquent voice say and looking at the people I immediately used appraisal just to gain their names.

[Name: Charles Xavier.]

[Name: Jean Grey.]

[Name: Kurt Wagner.]

[Name: Ororo Munroe.]

[Name: Scott Summer's]

' oh come on….' i thought looking at the young X-Men Infront of me.
