Chapter 7 : Do you know how hard it is to get a job these days?!

"Can you stop in a town somewhere and throw me there, it won't even take ten minutes."

That's when they all saw an indescribable devastated landscape.

A giant pyramid erected in the middle of Cairo, with giant metal curves floating through the sky and tearing away the surrounding earth.

"Shit, it's the end!"

James felt his heart stop beating for a second.

Moira couldn't help but ask in a low voice when she saw such a horrifying sight.

"You guys help Nightcrawler get into the pyramid, get Charles, i'll take care of Erik. "

McCoy asked in a tone showing his disagreement with the idea.

"I can get you in there, I came here for him, let me help you"

James saw further Storm bombing the young X-men with lightning, psylocke attacking them with his abilities without giving them any respite.

"They're crazy."

Special effects were visible everywhere: Scott's laser against Storm's lightning, McCoy against Psylocke, James wanted to have some popcorn and enjoy the show.

Suddenly, Kurt appears on the plane with Professor Xavier, then disappears and brings Mccoy back. Jean hastens to check on the professor's condition while Moira turns on the plane's engines.

"Finally, we're going to get out of this crazy place."

James smiled with joy, thinking they could finally escape, but when the plane took off in the sky, they all felt a jolt and a hole was made in the roof.

James who was closer to Angel was caught by the one at the same second Kurt teleported with the others.

Kurt, who has just brought everyone ashore, does not see James.

"James!"

The others also noticed that James was missing, as Scott, noticing that Kurt was about to lose control of his emotions, tapped his shoulder.

"Don't think about it now, we have to help the teacher."

Kurt came to his senses, trying to calm the guilt of leaving James in the plane that had just crashed.

Events follow one another quickly, thanks to Raven's beautiful words and the aura of Xavier's protagonist, Magneto finally understood that it's not right to be bad, and decided to betray the main villain of this event.

While the X-Men fight En Sabah Nur, Jean ventures into the astral plane and learns from Xavier that En Sabah Nur is weakened after centuries in the same body.

So he wanted to take possession of his body.

The fight was advancing and the x-men were at a disadvantage.

That's when a man with scratch scars on his face and raggedy clothes approached.

"Mr. James!"

Kurt, wounded, cried out with joy and relief.

"Don't shout for joy, kid, I'm going to kick your ass after this story is over."

"Run away quickly!" McCoy cried out as En Sab nur watched James.

"What strange power, what pure energy"

He slowly moved towards James, ignoring all the people present who were attacking him.

Jean immediately noticed that En Sab Nur had left Professor Xavier's mind, he immediately woke up.

"I want that body."

James gritted his teeth with an expression that could not hide his anger.

"All I wanted was a cushy life, no problem, but you son of a bitch have completely ruined my day, by now my boss must have already decided to fire me, do you know how hard it is to get a job these days?!"

James' aura changed completely, En Sabah Nur stopped, his eyes could not hide his fear.

The earth began to shake, the cloudless sky was crossed by lightning, James' hair instantly became dark blond while his eyes turned pure green.

With one step, he stepped in front of En Sabah Nur and grabbed his head and flew into the sky at supersonic speed.

In half a second, James appeared in the stratosphere and looked at him, trapped by his palm trying to struggle.

He threw him into the air and then placed both hands above his head with his palms facing En Sabah Nur.

"KAMEHAMEHA!!!"

Half of the world's inhabitants saw that day, a huge blue light crossing the sky and tearing the clouds in its path before suddenly disappearing, some thought it was a comet, others that it was a hallucination or the work of extraterrestrials, but only a few high-ranking individuals knew what really happened.
