MARVEL: Killswitch's Origin

My name is Edward Kavka. Well, that's the only name that I remember after i was born... or reborn I guess? Yep, I think I reincarnated because I still remember my past life though I don't really know who i was and what led me to this world. Finally, after living for years in this world I know that I was born in a unique world. Marvel Cinematic Universe. "Hey kid." Hmmm... but wait... if this is MCU why is there a board written with "Welcome to Raccoon City: Home of Umbrella"? "Oi!" Is this really MCU that I know? "HEY! Do you hear me!?" Startled I looked back only to see a man looking at me from his car. "Huh? Ah... I'm sorry, I just spaced out." Curious the beardy man then asked, "Are you okay? Need a ride?" "Ahh, thank you. I happen to lost my family at the gas station before. I think I walked too far.", I said while pretending to be sad. The man looked concerned after seeing my haggard clothing and bag. After getting in to the car I asked, "My name is Edward. Edward Kavka. What's yours, kind sir?" After thinking for a while he answered, "John. John Wick" What the f@€k!! Is this really MCU?!

No Way Out

After I opened the door, I was greeted by walls of blood and flesh. There was a huge scratch mark on the wall as well as holes. The red light just made the atmosphere eerily silent. There was no notification being repeated anymore, not even the sound of sirens.

"Shit... I need to escape faster."

I ran toward where I went down from before, but the corridor leading to the elevator was blocked by rubbles. With no choice left to take, I went back and roamed the Labs, looking for an escape path.

That was when I noticed that the bracelet had been glowing. I stopped and activated the gauntlet.

"A Genma presence? In this lab?"

I took out my FAMAS and walked cautiously. Although I was still in my stealth mode, my nerve was tense and forced me to walk slower. I keep looking at the black gauntlet, especially on the white dragon orbs that resembled an eye, occasionally blinking.

Whenever the glow turned brighter, I changed my direction. Along the way there was a corpse of an escaping scientist with a door pass, I took it just in case I need to open a locked door.

"Damn it, why would I always be this unlucky?"

I was too focused on looking around that I forgot to observe my gauntlet. Yep, it turned brighter and brighter in a few seconds.

Boom!

The wall beside me exploded and threw me away. I hit my body on the opposite wall and slide. I didn't have time to lament my poor state and evade the incoming tentacles.

Clank! Clank!

The wall where I sat before was pierced by the tentacles. From the cloud of smoke he appeared, Nemesis in its full nude form.

The difference between him and the Nemesis that I knew was that this one had one extra limb, twice his size behind it's back. His eyes glowed with a red tint.

"Youuu...."

...And it seemed to know me. The choice I had was just to escape or fight it. While escaping seemed impossible for the moment, since he blocked my path, fighting it wasn't a good choice either. A normal Nemesis was already a huge pain in the ass, now that an evolved one was here my chance turned slimmer.

It dashed toward me with his huge hand trying to swat me away. I ducked and pull the trigger, aiming for his ugly skull-like face. His other two freehand clamped together and moved downward trying to flatten me on the ground. I rolled in between his legs and stabbed my combat knife under his knee.

The Nemesis staggered but it still smashed his extra huge hand on me. This time it hit, but it wasn't hurt that much because of his poor posture. I slide on the floor and used the momentum to start running away from him. My plan to escape was successful... until he jumped.

With one leap and using his third hand to grab the ceiling, he propelled his body like a missile toward me.

"Fuck, what the hell those scientists fed you!!"

With one leap he flew above me and blocked my way once again. I breathe in relief after noticing that the genital part was uninstalled. I didn't have to face the dangling steel balls.

'You ain't leaving me much of a choice don't you?'

"Blackbeard..."

I put the FAMAS inside my pocket and took out Blackbeard instead. The Nemesis had mutated into a Genma-Nemesis now, one of the worst fusion of the century. His mutation gave him a huge boost in physical ability and form.

I pulled another knife with my left hand, deciding to fight in close-quarter combat. My plan was still to escape this damn Laboratory.

I used reinforcement on all of my equipment and dashed into his territory. The huge third hand was obstructed by its own length. The corridor also becomes an advantage for me as it was big enough for me to run around but small enough to hold the Nemesis.

Bam! Bam!

The bullet capacity of Blackbeard was limited to two rounds of shot only. I have to be creative in deciding which spot I have to shot. The first two shot was to test how strong Blackbeard's damage would be. Well, it didn't disappoint.

The cone-shaped first shot, blasted the Nemesis' chest, staggering him. The flesh around where the sprayed pellets hit also disintegrated slowly. The darkness element was truly powerful. The second shot was hit on the left shoulder area. I was aiming at his head but he evaded most of the pellets in instant.

The limited bullet amount has also become a huge problem. The one I used was formed using my mental power that flowed through the gauntlet. I still didn't know how long I could hold on, but it didn't seem to be much of a problem for now.

He then countered with two tentacles, one was trying to pierce my head while the other one successfully wrapped on my leg when I rolled to the side. He pulled me closer, but I cut it with my knife before I got closer. Without wasting time, I reloaded Blackbeard. The action of reloading was still needed, proving that this weapon still had some disadvantages.

The energy shells flew and turned into a mist. Another two bullet shells took their place before I closed it back. Now, with a newly reloaded Blackbeard, I began another attack.

I threw the knife, aiming for his head, but the Nemesis just swatted it away like a flies. I pulled a P90 and ran while shooting. The huge hand act to block the bullets. While it was mangled with holes, none of the bullets reached his body. I slide near the wall and jumped behind him, my target was toward the joints connecting the huge hand.

Bam! Bam!

I have to take advantage of the pellet's disintegrating power. It was a success, although it was still connected, two shots in the same spot took out half of the flesh and muscles inside. I reloaded again and rolled away, evading his punch. However, the huge hand take this chance and grabbed my waist, and slammed my body on the wall.

Kuhuaakk!

It hurts!

Bam! Bam!

I was forced to fire the two shots on his wrist that was holding me up. The grip was released but another punch threw me aside. I blocked with both of my hands, but a cracking sound was heard from my left arm.

It was excruciating, but I have to hold on. I reloaded again while landing on my feet. This time, I keep charging without minding the pain and stick close to him. I never reloaded my secondary weapon and just threw it inside my pocket whenever it was empty. I even have to hold a knife with my mouth to cut the tentacles that trying to pierce or grab my body occasionally. While it was hard at first, the moment you got a hold of it, it got easier.

Bam! Bam!

Finally, the huge lump of hand fell on the ground. Now, it was my turn to rampage around.

Boooooommm!

Another explosion blows the wall behind me. I didn't have to turn back to know what made the explosion.

"Fuck you... Umbrella..."

Another super healthy Nemesis came around the corner.

...

Somewhere in Paris.

Mikhail and his team received an emergency notice when they were loading boxes of ice. Who knows what was inside it. From the notice, they learned that one of the Europe branch lab's experiment subject was trying to escape. Every military personnel was instructed to assist in neutralizing the failed experiment.

"Although the European branch wasn't our responsibility, the upper echelon had made the order. However, we are free to decline and just carry out our main mission. Anyone who agrees to accept the emergency mission, raise your hand right now..."

No one raised their hand. Everyone here was too tired of their mission. Some of them didn't even make it. All they wanted was just to turn away, and never looking back.

"I agree."

All of them looked back toward the single man that said it. It was from Carlos Oliveira. His subordinates gave him a questioning look.

"There we have one. Another?"

Mikhail shot another glance at the other murmuring members. Nicholai just smirked from his seat and said, "We have a hero here, who wants to die along with our hero?"

The sharp comment from Nicholai silenced them all. Everyone knew that if help was needed in neutralizing a failed experiment, it meant that the subject was too dangerous for them to handle. They have been working for Umbrella for years, picturing how dangerous the escaping subject was a simple matter.

Nobody said anything or even raised a finger after Nicholai's statement. Mikhail was disappointed at his men's response. 'Well, it's not like we were young anymore.'

Every one had families waiting at home. All they need was to make money and stay alive until they arrived at home. No one but the youngsters had this kind passion for their job. He just smiled at Carlos and said, "Carlos, do you still want to go?"

"Yes, Sir!"

"Even if nobody following you?"

"Yes, Sir."

"Good" He took out a handheld transceiver (HT) and spoke. "I'm sending one man, you better give him back later on, or I break your neck the next time we meet."

A voice was heard on the other side of the HT, "Damn, you got one? Okay then, send him here. I already assembled a few teams."

Mikhail then relayed the meeting point to Carlos, "Remember, kid. No matter what, put your life in the first position. If you want to keep saving lives, then you have to stay alive."

"Yes, Sir. I understood."

...

Booooomm!!

The double iron door was blown away and disintegrated mid-air, not long after I was I jumped from the cloud of dust.

"Shit, you guys really need to chill..."

I reloaded Blackbeard while observing my condition. The second rib on my left already snapped, the bone on the left arm crushed, few small cuts on the cheeks and neck, hoodie on 10/20 durability. I need new strats.

I was just blown off the door with the Blackbeards ability, Dark Blast. It gave every single pellet a mini-explosion effect. Basically, it almost had the power of grenades in a single shot upon impact. Not too powerful and it used ten times the mental power of a normal bullet, however, the disintegrating power was what made this ability so damn scary. The two panels of the door immediately disintegrated in one shot.

Gung... Gung... Gung... Gung...

The two Tyrants walked side by side. Before I blew the door, I used Dark Blast on them earlier. The left one which was the first one that I fought, hasn't regenerated his third hand yet. And half of his face was turning black and disintegrating bit by bit. The other one didn't fare better either, with both of his hand disintegrating.

Both of them looked almost the same, just mirrored. While the first had an extra limb on the left, the second had one on the right side. However, I couldn't hold this battle any longer.

Now, we were standing on a huge cylindrical hall with 25 meters in diameter. There was a spiraling stair on the walls leading to what seemed to be the surface. This was my escaping path.

Several people already climbed the staircase up ahead. A short-haired blonde woman stopped her step and gazed on me.

Shit! I didn't wear a mask.

I pulled down the hoodie to hide my face. I hope she didn't see it yet.

The two tyrants suddenly split and delivered a pincer attack from both sides. The one without extra hand grabbed an Iron plate and tried to use it like an ax while the other used his extra hand like a drill. Yep, his fingers spun.

The fingers arrived first and forced me to duck, but the iron plate suddenly tried to cut me in half horizontally. I dropped my body flat on the floor. The flat part of the iron plate almost touching my nose.

The hand drill comes again and I have roll sideways. The drill got stuck a bit inside the floor. I shot the elbow twice, trying to separate his huge arm.

Bam! Bam!

I should have done that earlier, the elbow snapped in half, and the bone that was left protruding outward. The Nemesis holding an Iron plate was behind me and used the plate as a shield to slam at me.

Buummpp!

The plate hit my back and throwing me ahead, the other Nemesis greet me with it's protruding bone and stabbed me right on the stomach.

Puuffh!

I threw up blood because of the bone that was piercing me. The other side of the bone emerged from my back. I was agonizing in pain but I couldn't let out any sound because of how painful it was. It felt like you were eating a hot rod of flaming iron as it stuck in your intestines.

I used what power left on my right hand to deliver another blow.

"Dark... Blast..."
