25: Improving Strength

Miles spent another hour or so playing around with different materials before he came up with an idea he liked.

instead of sticking to one weapon, Miles planned to create a single gadget that could pull out anything he needed.

Looking at the strange black gadget in his palms, Miles pressed a random button on the cover of the device.

with a quick and smooth sound, a long metal Bo staff appeared in Miles' hands instantly.

Miles pressed the button once more, and the weapons began changing instantly, whether it was a katana, a spear, a javelin, nunchucks, or other weapons which Miles had added to the device, he could pull them out with the press of a button.

Using the strange technology in the battle-suit of The Prowler, Miles was able to mimic the suit's way of concealing weapons in tight spaces, this was how Miles managed to create this device that could give him the weapons he needed for any situation.

if Miles wanted a more lethal attack, he could easily switch his weapon to A katana or a spear, and if he wanted more blunt attacks to avoid a bloody mess, Miles could pull out the metal Bo staff and the nunchucks.

"Phew" Miles released a sigh of relief as he looked at the efforts of his hard work tonight, his newly created black Spiderman battle suit, coupled with a device that could change between different weapons smoothly, was perfect.

Miles grabbed the weapons gadget and pressed a button, as the metallic Bo staff appeared in his grasp, a strange current of electricity began to spark around the metallic staff.

within seconds, the whole electric staff looked like it was a pillar of thunder.

swoosh!!

Miles took a stance before swinging out with the Bo staff, he smiled as he saw the electric sparks fly off the staff and crack in the void.

Miles frowned as he looked down at his palms which were covered in sparks of electricity.

"I guess it's time I upgraded this ability" Miles' expression became serious as he immediately pulled out his system screen, without waiting any longer he immediately added 100 points to his Bio-Electricity ability.

Bio-Electricity [Lvl: 2 (1,000 to Upgrade)

The moment the points were added, Miles felt a warm current rise up from his stomach.

it didn't stop there, his body felt extremely itchy for a short period, as if hundreds of ants were crawling all over him.

sparks of electricity began to rise all over Miles' body as he clenched his fist and gritted his teeth.

"This isn't so bad" Miles forced a smile as he unconsciously grabbed onto the table as beads of sweat fell from his face.

The electricity converged all over Miles' body as if there were dozens of snakes, soon Miles looked like a god of thunder as his whole body became covered in electric sparks.

Miles raised his eyes in suspicion as he observed his whole body, the moment the electricity surrounded his body, Miles felt as if all his cells had become increasingly active and his overall physical ability as well as speed had increased by at least 10%.

"Yes," Miles couldn't help but grin as he clenched his fist, his long fingers passing through the arcs of electricity as if they were nothing but wisps of water.

Miles didn't bother with anything else and immediately left the underground chamber, he needed to release some steam, his Bio-Electricity energy was rising too quickly and he needed to release some of it immediately.

The moment Miles left the underground chamber, his figure became a flash of electricity as he immediately appeared on the roof of Aunt May's house.

his Spiderwebs shot out with perfect precision and landed somewhere on a light post in the middle of the street.

A spark of electricity flew out of Miles' body before surrounding the whole spiderweb which had shot into the distance, the whole web now looked like a whip covered in electric energy.

"this is amazing" Miles couldn't help but exclaim as he saw the electricity sparks around his spider webs.

Ha!

Miles swung out with his fist and watched as the Electric spiderweb whipped out, turning into a lethal flash of light before it slammed into the ground.

boom!

A small line of charred earth immediately appeared before Miles, luckily he avoided hitting Aunt May's roof or else the old lady would've scolded him heavily.

"I can get used to this" Miles became excited and tightened his grasp on the electric spiderweb, with a slight pull his body immediately lunged forward like an arrow as he began swinging around the city.

For the rest of the night, Many people began spreading rumors about how strange whips of electricity began moving across the city with unparalleled speed.

The person who caused all of this stood above a large tower as he overlooked the whole city, his eyes shining with a strong resolve.

"I've been getting stronger, incredibly fast, it's inevitable that I will meet a lot of god-like opponents in the future" Miles began thinking as he stared down at his palms, which were still covered in electricity.

"but...what is my goal in this world?" Miles frowned as he unconsciously thought back to his last life.

although he was only an average man, he was far from being happy, even his girlfriend, the only person close to him apart from his family had left him.

"I just hope...in this life, I can enjoy myself more, and maybe even make my own family" Miles couldn't help but smile as he thought up to this point.

He had felt useless all his life, but now he was a superhero and one that carried power.

With the help of the system, his strength and status would only continue to grow far beyond what it is today in the future.

"This is only the beginning," Miles said expressionlessly before he turned into a blur, sparks of electricity appeared in the sky as his Spiderwebs shot out and he zipped through the sky like a ghost.
