Chapter 90 What’s done is done
The old woman didn't care about the man who was just being attacked. She looked at Sullivan. He can use Nen. Not many people can use Nen before they pass the hunter's exam.
She sighed even though Sullivan can use Nen doesn't mean he didn't need to be tested.
"Let's continue. I will ask the question now."
The old woman then ask the question she then gave everyone only five seconds to answer.
Everyone stayed silent even Leorio. Not because He don't want to do anything but if he did something without thinking He knew that he would be punished by Sullivan's Sister. She is really scary even though she seems to be nice to Sullivan and Gon but to him. She gave off an aura of a strict teacher.
Leorio looked at Sullivan. He knew that he will be the one to answer the question.
And He was correct. Sullivan was the one who answer the question.
He touched the answer button before he answered with his usual grin.
"I will save both."
The old woman heard Sullivan answer.
"That isn't in the choices I gave."
"But you didn't tell us that we must choose those choices you gave. and I know that there is no right and wrong answer. It could be said that silence is the answer but if it's me I will choose to save both."
The old woman opened her mount but the words won't come out. She close her mouth before she sighed again.
That's right she didn't tell them that they must only choose those choices. She asked two-choice quiz just to test their morals and characters.
She didn't know what Sullivan thinking but She felt that if he face the situation in the quiz he will try to save both as he said.
"Well. I can't argue with that. You may pass then"
The old woman still didn't show the true path. Sullivan raises his eyebrow before smirking.
He gather his Nen into his feet then he jumped high into the sky. He looked around before he was back to the ground.
"Come this way."
Sullivan then went to the door that contain the right path he then slide open the door. The old woman looked at him. Her eyebrow twitch.
Sullivan looked back at her before he spoke to her with his cheeky grin.
"See you again next time. Baba"
***Baba = old woman***
Sullivan then leads his group on the right path. The old woman want to speak something but couldn't. She could only shake her head.
'What an interesting boy'
Kurari watched Sullivan and his group walk inside the door. She hesitated a little before she follow them.
When She followed them inside the door. She saw that they were waiting for her.
Sullivan was now standing in front of the group. He looked at her with seriousness an expression she had never seen on his face before. Kurari gulped. She didn't know what he was going to do to her.
She should go back but before she can turn around Sullivan spoke to her.
"You followed us up to now why bother going back. I will ask you again and this will be the last time. Do you want to go with us?"
Kurari wanted to refuse but when she remember that he had helped her before. It was not good to repay one kindness[?] with a malicious act.
Kurari coughed inside her fist before she spoke.
"Well If you want me to then."
"Tsundere are you"
"No! I am not."
"Then you don't want to?"
Sullivan tilted his head. Kurari hesitated but she knew she need to answered honestly. at least as honest as she can.
"...Um I-I want to…I want to join you! I have answered you! Are you satisfied now!"
"Very"
Sullivan grins. Kurari felt like she was walking into his palm.
"You already accept the invitation. You can't go back on your word. Come on we will go to the next part of the pre-exam."
Sullivan now leading his group again. Kurari could only look at his back before she decide to follow him.
