Chapter 89 Two-choice quiz

Sullivan group now heading toward where the first event should take place. They looked at an old woman and a group of people wearing a white robe and a white mask. the group of people also carry various instruments. there's even a black crow.

Sullivan who saw this scene felt funny. He knew that this event should be the same as the original. and It was as he thought.

For Kurari she was now standing behind them. She didn't say anything and Sullivan's group also did the same even Leorio didn't speak to her.

The old woman looked serious now before she spoke something then She shouted.

"Exciting…Exciting Two-choice quiz!"

Then the people behind her start to play their instruments. Sullivan couldn't help it anymore he laugh out loud.

"I…I can't t-this…this is ridiculous"

The old woman who was supposed to act serious looked at Sullivan coldly. No one ever laughs at her before angry maybe but never laugh. but even though she felt discontent she still had to go on.

"You boys and girls are head for the tree on the hill correct? to reach that tree you must pass through this town I shall administer a single-question quiz. You have five seconds to answer the question. Give me the wrong answer you're disqualified. You will have to give up on taking this year's hunter exam"

Kurari heard that she couldn't help but speak.

"Naruhodo. So this must be a part of the hunter's exam"

She after saying that looked at everyone but everyone heard her but ignored her. They didn't even look back at her.

Kurari fell into silence. She felt hurt but because of her pride, she did not speak any further.

The old woman then looked at them. No one questioned her about the single question. She felt weird normally they should argue when they heard about the question.

And when she was about to ask the question. Someone had shown up and spoke confidently.

"I will answer the question first."

Sullivan looked at the one who appeared. He was a man with a big nose. Sullivan remembered him that he was the one who fell into the old woman trap.

In the original, he answered the question by what seemed like to be what the old woman what to hear.

The question was. Evil people have captured your mother and lover. you can only save one. select number one your mother or number two your lover.

Of course, he chose number one because he thought that was what the old woman want to hear. but unfortunately, it was not.

Sullivan want to know if it was still the same as the original but he looked at Kurari. He let out an amused snort. looked like it will not stay as the original.

Kurari looked at him. She was angry with Sullivan. but she couldn't do anything to him because If she did something she was sure that she would be killed instantly by his overprotective sister.

She knew that his sister felt dissatisfied that she rejected her brother's invitation and still have the gut to follow them if it was not for Sullivan to speak to her. She might get beaten and have to take the hunter's exam next time.

She didn't know that Hermione didn't think like that because It was Sullivan's plan. but the reason why Kurari felt like that was because Hermione was jelly. Sullivan seemed to pay attention to Kurari more than her.

And now there was someone she could let out her anger. She didn't wait for him to speak anything anymore before she attack him with her wooden sword. She aimed at his head to finish him in one move.

The man even though he was not an important character in HxH but in this world. He still could be counted for something at least he had some experience with fighting.

He was surprised but he still could dodge and counter back but at that exact moment, he felt his body could not move.

He got hit on his head hard before going everything went dark for him.

Kurari knew that he could dodge and counter back when she saw his expression but then the look that exactly the same as she once had when she was frozen by Sullivan appeared on his face.

She knew that he was frozen by Sullivan. She looked at him then she saw his smug face. He whisper to her that he was the only one who could bully her.

For some reason, Kurari face went red then look away. She then went back to where she stood before she look at the old woman. She now looked at Sullivan in surprise.

Kurari thought that she must know about the power that Sullivan use for sure.
