Chapter 281 Zoken can't wait anymore [Edited]

Zoken was furious. He lost contact with Kirei after he went to Tohsaka Mansion. He thought that with his ability and his magecraft, he would be able to bring Tohsaka Sakura to him easily.

"Where is he now?! I can't wait for much longer!"

Zoken's anger intensified as he thought about his failure. Frustration gnawed at him, fueling his impatience as he desperately sought a way out of his current predicament.

If he didn't get Sakura as his vessel now, he would rot, and his soul would drift to the afterworld, never to be able to be reborn again. This was the price for those who practiced such disgusting magecraft.

The thought of eternal damnation haunted Zoken's mind, pushing him to the brink of desperation. He knew that time was running out, and he had to find a solution before it was too late. The consequences of his failure weighed heavily on him, driving him to take even more drastic measures.

"Gather everyone. I will stomp that place and get what's mine!"

Zoken's voice echoed through the main hall. He could not wait anymore. Even though he broke the treaty, it meant nothing if he was dead.

As everything occurred, a young man watched them in an uninterested manner. Behind him, a middle-aged man holding a red spear was yawning as he didn't give a fuck about what had happened.

The young man was Matou Shinji, and the middle-aged man was his servant. Lancer.

"Lancer, why don't you go and help my grandfather?"

Shinji asked his servant. If he helped his grandfather. There was a chance that he would be appointed heir once again.

Shinji knew that his chances of becoming the heir were slim, but he was willing to take any opportunity that came his way. Lancer, however, simply shrugged and replied.

"I don't see the point. Your grandfather's time is almost up anyway. If he dies, you will be automatically appointed as the heir."

Shinji frowned at Lancer's response, realizing that his servant had a point. Maybe he should help his enemy instead, but he wasn't sure if his enemy would bite his ass back after he helped them.

"Nah, I won't help them because of that bitch."

Shinji hated Tohsaka Rin very much. He resented her for always outshining him and being a constant thorn in his side. Despite the tempting opportunity to gain power, Shinji couldn't bring himself to assist someone he despised so deeply.

"Well, Whatever. It has nothing to do with me anyway. Call me when the war starts."

Lancer then goes back to his astral form. Shinji watched as Lancer disappeared, his resentment towards Rin still burning within him. He snarled and began to think about how he could kill her.

'Humph. My grandfather will deal with you for me then. I should think about the other masters.'

Shinji's thoughts shifted to the other Masters participating in the war. As for his Tohsaka Rin. He was sure that his grandfather would kill her for him.

...

At Ai's apartment.

Sullivan observed Saber and Morgan. The two now recognize each other. Saber knew that, even though she wasn't the Morgan she knew, she believed that they were not that different from each other.

Sullivan couldn't help but notice the growing tension between Saber and Morgan as they locked eyes.

"Okay, that's enough, you two."

Sullivan said, stepping between them. His authority over the two was evident as they both backed down, respecting his command.

He knew that their clash could potentially escalate into something dangerous, and he was determined to prevent any further conflict.

"As your command, my lord."

Morgan spoke with sweetness and a hint of sarcasm, causing Sullivan to raise an eyebrow. He could sense the underlying resentment in Morgan's tone, but he chose to ignore it for the time being. That hatred wasn't directed at him after all.

"......"

Saber didn't say anything and looked at Shirou. He was curious as to what happened between the two. If she behaved like this toward Scathach, it would be understandable. But Morgan didn't do anything to her; she just stared at her.

"I will explain to you later."

Saber spoke to him in a low voice, her tone filled with a mix of concern and frustration. She didn't want to discuss the matter in front of Morgan, knowing it would only escalate the tension between them.

"Okay..."

Shirou then excused himself and Saber to their room.

Ai and Miyu breathed a sigh of relief. They thought that a fight would break out between them. Fortunately, Sullivan seemed strong enough to command the two without using the command seal.

"Now that the staring contest has ended, Let's go find something to eat."

Scathach spoke. She felt kind of hungry when she had a real body. When she was a heroic spirit, all she needed was prana to maintain her existence, but now she has a real body. It would be a shame if she didn't use all the functions it had.

"Umu, I felt hungry too. I really want to eat a baguette sandwich."

Ai and Miyu started to tell him too. Even Morgan, who he thought wouldn't be in the mood to eat anymore. He really didn't know what was inside her head.

Sullivan nodded his head when he heard their stomach growling. Now they had become human again, with divinity. They still needed nutrition, like any other human should.

He swept his hand. All of the food they wanted to eat appeared before them in a grand display. The table nearby was filled with an array of delicious dishes, from the baguette sandwiches Jeanne craved to a variety of mouthwatering options. The aroma wafted through the air, making their mouths water even more.

"Oops, I didn't know that I could add divine power as a MSG, hehe. It should be good, right?"

Even the strongest-willed servant like Scathach couldn't help but start to eat each dish with delight.

With her body. She would be able to eat enough food for more than ten adult men combined.
