Chapter 282 Attack on Tohsaka [Edited]

Kirei awoke from his deep slumber, feeling refreshed and energized. The morning sun streamed through the window, casting a warm glow on the room. He stretched his limbs and took a moment to savor the tranquility of the moment before starting his day.

He felt like he had missed something. He looked at his phone, and then he saw many messages from Matou Zoken.

"Why did that man contact me?"

Kirei couldn't remember anything about the deal he made with Matou Zoken. As he scrolled through the messages, Kirei's confusion deepened.

"Kidnap Tohsaka Sakura?"

He knew that with the huge compensation that Matou Zoken would give him if he successfully kidnapped the girl, even though he hated the man, he would still lower himself and go kidnap her for him.

And when his thoughts got to this point, Kirei couldn't help but feel a sense of unease.

He went to his secret room and searched for everything that he would likely use in order to kidnap the girl, and he found that many things had disappeared.

He came to the conclusion that he had already gone to Tohsaka Mansion in order to kidnap Tohsaka Sakura, but the mission failed.

Someone had caught him and then sent him back here with his memories of the event erased.

"Who was it that could make someone like me become so powerless?"

He knew that if he or she could send him here, that meant more or less that he or she could kill him and destroy everything he had prepared.

Kirei gritted his teeth. He really hated this kind of feeling. He needed to do something. But he also knew that acting impulsively would only put him at a greater disadvantage. He needed to gather more information and come up with a strategic plan to counter this unknown adversary.

...

Matou Zoken and his people had arrived in front of Tohsaka Mansion. He would stomp on this place and get his vessel at all costs. He might become enemies with the clock tower, but so what?

If he got Tohsaka Sakura, he could pretend to be her and get away with everything. He didn't care if his family would be destroyed. He could make a new one easily.

"Why are you all maggots here?"

Tohsaka Rin spoke from inside the gate of her mansion. She didn't think that Zoken would ignore the treaty that the Tohsaka family had with the Matou family. The treaty was witnessed by the grand marshal. If the other side attacked the other openly. They would be punished. and the punishment from the clock tower wasn't something that any family would want.

Because it might potentially cripple the whole family.

"I came here to get what was promised to me. If you don't want to die, give that girl to me this instant!"

Zoken's voice boomed through the gates, his demand echoing with a sinister undertone. Rin Tohsaka was standing at the entrance.

"What promise? You don't have any evidence that could prove it. You can just make it up if you want to. And the one who would die would be you, not me. Your action now has crossed a line, threatening the safety and well-being of my family openly. I will not hand over my sister to you no matter what, and this could be considered a violation of the treaty between us."

Rin's voice remained firm, her eyes narrowing as she prepared to defend herself. Archer was on standby too. If Zoken decided to do anything. He would be able to intercept it in time.

"Humph! I don't care about that useless treaty anymore. Now that you won't hand that girl over, I can only force you to comply. I have my ways of making you see reason, even if it means resorting to extreme measures."

Zoken's sinister smile sent shivers down Rin's spine, but she stood her ground, determined to protect her sister at all costs.

"Attack!"

Zoken commanded, his voice filled with malice as he signaled his followers to strike. The air crackled with tension as Rin prepared herself for the impending battle, knowing that the safety of her sister depended on her ability to fend off Zoken's forces.

Rin, when she saw that the battle was inevitable. She brought something out.

"I won't let any of you dirty my place. Humph!"

Rin was full of confidence because she had gotten many precious things from her godly disciple. And what she brought out was a red jewel that contained a bit of his divine power.

When the jewel with the divine power of destruction came out, Rin could feel the surge of energy coursing through her veins. She knew that with this powerful treasure in her possession, she had a fighting chance against Zoken's forces.

Zoken, When he saw the jewel. He felt a primal fear deep within his core. He knew that Rin now possessed an instrument capable of obliterating everything in its path.

"What the hell is that? How can you possess something that holds such immense power?"

Zoken exclaimed, his voice trembling with a mix of astonishment and terror.

Rin smirked, her eyes gleaming with resoluteness.

"If I told you that I got it from a god, would you believe me?"

Zoken's eyes widened in disbelief, but he quickly regained his composure.

"I don't care where you got it from."

he sneered.

"No matter its origin, I will not let you use it against me."

He clenched his fists, then started to use his magecraft. The dark and sinister energy surrounding him grew stronger, crackling with malevolence.

He aimed his attack at her, but

"Too weak."

Rin pointed her finger at him. A dark red energy gathered at the tip of her finger. The intense energy pulsated with an otherworldly power, ready to be unleashed.

"Grand Rey Cero!"

That was the name of the move that Sullivan asked her to use when she needed to use his jewel. It was a condition that she could accept easily, and she thought the name of the attack was kind of cool too.

The powerful blast of red energy surged towards Zoken, engulfing him in its destructive force. The impact sent shockwaves rippling through the air, leaving behind a trail of devastation.

Zoken didn't even have the time to unleash his power, even if he could. How could the power of a mere mortal compare to a god's?

Sullivan's jewel was imbued with the essence of the divine, granting it unparalleled strength and potency. Zoken's feeble attempt at resistance was swiftly crushed under the overwhelming might of Sullivan's attack.
