Chapter Seventy-Nine(79)

"I give you the Jericho Missile!" The man said excitedly as the smaller missiles landed on the mountain leading to a massive explosion

Boom!!

The missiles exploded and immediately following it was another explosion but it was much louder and more destructive than the last one. As soon as the second explosion was heard, a massive shockwave was made and finally reached the group as it blew dust and wind in their faces pushing them back.

"That's how it's done" the man said with a smile as he walked down from the cliff he had put himself on.

"As always Mr Stark, you never fail to impress" one of the men in the group shook his hand

"Of course, I am Tony Stark" Tony said as he shook the general's hand but the general didn't care to reprimand him or call him out in his arrogance

"Ahh…. What about these ones?" The General asked pointing at several crates that were close to them

"You know what they are, I'll throw in one of those for free with every purchase, that should be $500 Million in total" Tony said as he turned around and left in pride

"Let's see Elysium top that" Tony said as he left to enter a car to return back to New York

After several minutes of dealing with the generals and answering their various questions. Tony got into one of the many squad cars in the vicinity that would take him back to the makeshift airport when a man in a military uniform approached him.

"Tony!... Tony, well done out there" the man said as he approached the sidelf the vehicle

"Ah Rhodes, I never thought you could make it" Tony replied

"Haha, very funny… why don't you ride with me?" Rhodes suggested as he pointed at one of the vehicles parked behind them

"Nah, I need to get back fast" Tony replied as he relaxed into his seat

"Okay then, see ya" Rhodes said as he took two steps away from the vehicle as it took off

While in the vehicle, Tony was offered a glass of wine and some snacks to eat while the escort in the car with him just stayed as professional as they could while watching him.

"Okay, let's get it out of our systems, say what is on your minds" Tony said after several minutes of awkward staring

"No.. nothing" one of the soldiers replied as he turned to his window trying to act as though he wasn't interested in whatever was going on

"Just spit it out" Tony encouraged

"It's really nothing sir, we just surprised that you can be so chill" the driver in the group said

"Oh wow, you're a woman, I know that sounds misogynistic but I never… just wow" Tony said impressed for some reason

"Don't worry sir, you should see my family's faces when I told them I got drafted" She replied and the entire group laughed

"See now we're getting somewhere" Tony commented

"I heard that you visited Elysium, is that true" One of the soldiers asked

"Yeah, it's a nice place, it's prince I don't like, why are you asking?" Tony asked in reply and the others nodded as though they expected that

"Nothing much, it's just that I'll be going home soon and my little sister, she wants to go there so I'm just asking" the soldier explained

"Oh then it's a beautiful place though I would advice, you don't meet their prince, ah now I can't get his stupid arrogant smile..." Tony said but got cut off
