Magically Dazed

Chapter 16:

Haa! Woo!

Waves started to appear around the room, pushing the gas away from everyone.

It was Daisy's work.

"So you're also a mutant? Catch her too!" The leader of the men commanded.

Michael sent a dimensional blast at the door and cleared the way.

"Take them with you. I'll handle them." Michael said to Daisy, who was pushing the gas with her vibrations.

Daisy nodded and shouted, "come with me."

Frank, Chuck, Rob and Nora listened to her and made their way to the destroyed door.

The man that was punched by Michael joined the other four and looked at Michael in hatred.

"You're lucky the gas didn't hit you, otherwise no matter how strong a freak kid like you is, you would have fallen down, but I guess we'll have to get our hands dirty."

The five touched their chest, and bright glow started to surround their suits.

Michael saw how the previous electricity enhanced. The five were crackling with electrical charge enough to fry a person to death.

"Surround him."

The five surrounded Michael.

Michael looked at the five and said, "I've been wanting to try something for months. You can be my experiment test."

Michael closed his eyes and focused. He reached onto his dimensional energy and started to give it a push through all of his pores on his body.

'Dimensional Wave.'

Purple dimensional energy pushed out of Michael's body like a tsunami and hit the five, sending them flying away into walls and tables.

Their suits deactivated.

"I told you your suits don't protect your head." Michael smirked, satisfied as he looked at the unconscious lads around him.

He used his dimensional telekinesis and tied them with a rope.

"Are you alright?" Daisy entered with fast steps.

"Yeah, but they aren't." Michael pointed at his captives.

Daisy sighed in relief and took out her phone from her purse.

"Mission is accomplished. I'll take them to the designated location.

Ok, I'll tell him."

Daisy put down the phone and looked at Michael, "Agent Phil says thank you, he also says he wants your autograph."

"Haha, I'll give it to him when I see him."

Michael and Daisy made their way outside where Frank, Chuck and Nora were waiting for them with worried expressions.

"Are you okay body? Where's the enemy" Frank and Chuck looked at Michael and Daisy for answers.

"They're tied up and will be handed to the government, you don't need to worry. But I need some answers from you Nora." Michael looked at Nora, who flinched.

Nora sighed and stepped forward. Since the club was already evacuated because of Daisy, everyone on the room could be said to be focusing on her.

She raised her hand. The next moment her hand started to change. Michael narrowed his eyes and looked at this change. Her hand turned into a blackish brown… mud.

"I'm a mutant." She said and then turned her hand to normal.

Chuck immediately went to her and hugged her tightly, "Why didn't you tell me this?"

Nora tucked her head into her father's chest and sobbed, "I was scared. Sniff!"

Michael thought, 'Now that I think about it, my lie was perfect back then.'

Chuck looked at Michael, "You're also a mutant Michael, I hope you can help my daughter through this."

Nora's eyes widened and looked at Michael, "You're also a mutant?"

Michael shook his head, "No."

"What?" x2

Frank and Chuck were shocked.

"Calm down. I'm a Supernatural being, I have powers but I don't posses the X-Gene like Nora does, however those things won't matter soon. Inhuman, Mutant or Supernatural, we're just evolved beings of standard humans. The reason I hid it for so long is because I was figuring myself out. There's no need to be afraid Nora, it's who you are, just because you're not like the most of the world doesn't mean that you're a freak. Sooner or later you'll realize that having means to protect yourself is much better than without it."

"But the world hates people like me, I can only hide my powers to live a normal life. Yet I was still found and was almost kidnapped." Nora yelled as tears poured from her eyes.

"The world is full of Supernatural stuff Nora, our planet is just in the starting phase of figuring it out. It'll be just a matter of time where people won't care about stuff like this because they'll realize that they're nothing in the grand scheme of the world." Michael said, looking at the depth of Nora's eyes that wanted to pierce the world itself.

"How can you be sure?" Nora dropped to her knees.

"Because I said so." Michael replied. Nobody questioned it when they saw the eyes of Michael.

"I'll send you home." Michael said to Daisy.

"Okay." Daisy nodded and followed Michael outside.

The night showed various stars in the clear sky. Wind flowed past Michael, he turned his head to Daisy and asked, "Have you ever felt.. trapped?"

"Yes I have, but I always managed to get out. One way or another." Daisy responded and held her palm above Michael's.

"I see. Anyway, since a team of agents have already gotten our targets, I should send you home."

They got in the car and began travel.

Neither spoke, when they reached the location, Daisy got her hand inside her purse and took out a piece of paper.

"If you need me, you can call here." She looked right through Michael's eyes.

"I'll remember to do so." Michael smiled.

*Pooch*

Unexpectedly, Daisy landed a kiss on his cheek before opening the door and leaving without looking back.

He was left speechless in the middle of the quiet street.

He got out of his daze and started the car again.

Before he could step on the gas pedal, a portal opened infront of him. The sides of the portal sparkled.

A bald woman approached the portal from the other side and entered inside it. Behind her, the portal closed, the bald woman just looked at Michael, who sighed seeing her.

Michael got out of the car and asked the bald woman in front of him, "What does the Sorcerer Supreme want with me."

"It seems you already know me. Good, spares me the trouble of introducing myself. As for why I'm here, I think we should discuss that in a better location." The Ancient One spoke calmly.

"Lead the way." said Michael.

The ancient one moved her hand and a portal appeared once again.

Michael was the first one to enter in and he was followed by the Ancient One.

Michael looked around and deduced that he was in Kamar-Taj.

"Make yourself comfortable and sit." Said the Ancient One.

Michael sat on one of the floor cushions and a table appeared infront of him with tea already poured into a teacup.

He picked it up and sipped from it, then he looked at the Ancient One.

"What do you want to discuss with me."

"What your presence imposes in this world and reality." She also took a sip of her tea.

Michael stood quiet and let her continue.

"You're a singularity, meaning that there are no versions of you. The future changed 12 years ago, and you're the cause of it."

"Is that all you have to say to me?" Michael asked.

He already knew such a thing. It was not possible for more than one to be the embodiment of Dimensional Authority to exist in the omniverse, let alone only in the universe of Marvel.

"No. Recently, a lot of Gods have shown interest for you, and I can't keep holding them off. They are chained to different planes, but they still have influence in this world." She said.

"Why are they so interested in me?"

"Singularities are a rarity. The gods have unmatched jealousy for you, because even they are not singularities. Some Gods want to kill you, some want to invade your mind and some might want to help you. You've survived because your mental fortitude is unlike anything I've seen, so I'm not really surprised the gods failed to get inside your head." She said as she put down her teacup. She took a deep breath and continued,

"The reason I called you here is because I want to know your intentions, what is it your really want and I want to know if you're a threat to the world I'm in charge of protecting."

Michael chuckled, "I didn't know singularities can't be seen by the time stone."

The Sorceress Supreme tilted her head, "You know about it?"

Michael nodded "I have only little knowledge about it. As for your concerns, you don't need to worry, I have no intention of harming this world and I consider it as home. I'll protect it from the gods and even the highest echelon of power this universe can offer if the times come."

The Sorceress Supreme listened intently at Michael and was relieved.

"I choose to believe you. What is your name? If you don't mind asking."

"I'm Michael."

"Well, my first name is Yao, even though it was lost through time with other names."

Michael was surprised, but then shook it off.

"Can I ask you of something?" Michael asked.

"What is it?" The ancient one replied.
