Marvel's Mutant Gamer (Being rewritten)

(Being rewritten)Our lovely MC becomes The Gamer of Marvel. Nuff said. The timeline will be a mixture of the comics and the MCU. Be warned, it will be weird, and probably not accurate.

The easiest way to take the four out will be just pulling them in the Mirror Dimension and nuking them with an Arrow of Apollon. That attack will more than likely kill all of them. However, I don't think I should do that.

This could be the perfect chance for the others to get some fighting experience and get used to their enhanced attributes from the items I gave them.

Peter and Kurt both had an enchanted ring and necklace that increased all of their stats by 104. Jean, on the other hand, had five items that raised all of her stats like me. Emma was the only one without them.

Huh, is this how the Ancient One felt when she allowed Kamar-Taj to be transported to Satannish's Dimension? I'm starting to understand her thought process a bit, I think.

I considered for the briefest of moments what to do before reaching out mentally to Jean and Emma. I decided to bring her in on the plan and see how she handles the situation.

'You are a telepath as well?' Emma asked, surprised that I was also able to use Telepathy.

'I'm a god, there is not much I can't do,' I said smugly before continuing. 'Tall buff guy with red-eyes is incredibly strong. He can also shoot lasers out of his eyes, but he is weak to mental attacks. Jean, you can handle him.'

'I... got it,' Jean said. I think she realized I purposely realized I didn't mention whether Hans was a clone or not.

'The shortest guy with grey hair and brown eyes is a mentalist. He can create mental illusions and alter memories. Emma, you handle him,' I said.

'Wait, you want me to handle him? I don't know if I can, and aren't you supposed to protect me?' Emma asked. I felt how she wasn't confident in her abilities and how worried she was.

'You can do it, I believe in you,' I said and threw her a set of enchanted accessories. I had a few extra in my Inventory in case I ever needed them. 'Also, put those on, they will help you out a lot.'

'You are supposed to take me out on a date before giving me a ring,' Emma said absentmindedly. She was looking at the jewelry I gave her with bright shining eyes as she gently stroked them, obviously taking a liking to them.

'What did you just say?' Jean asked, giving her a death stare.

'Sorry,' Emma quickly apologized, 'It just slipped.'

Thankfully, that didn't escalate any further.

Unfortunately, I couldn't communicate mentally with Kurt and Peter due to the rings they wore. I will have to find a way in the future since it was a lot faster to just transmit your thoughts to the other person.

"The big and hairy clone with the yellow suit on the left has superhuman strength, a healing factor, and animal claws. That one is yours to handle," I said to Peter and Kurt while also using Enchanting at the same time.

I couldn't do much since most enchantments needed some time, but I increased the durability of everyone's clothes. That should at least keep them somewhat safe. And if they do get hurt, I can quickly heal them with Healing Magic.

Peter nodded and prepared himself. He did look a bit uncomfortable and unsure, but I was confident in his abilities. All of his stats should at least be over 200 with the enchanted items.

Kurt looked ready to teleport out of there. I don't blame him too much since Creed looked like the scary big brother of Logan. Still, as long as he tries, I will be happy, plus even if he gets hurt, I can quickly heal him.

"I'll take on Gillman over there," I said just as I transported everyone there to the Mirror Dimension. No point in fighting in the real world where everyone can see us.

"Have this just in case," I threw the sword that had a sharpness enchantment to Kurt before the fight began.

"But, I still don't know how to use a svord!" Kurt exclaimed.

"No better time to learn than now," I said.

I did promise to teach him, so I guess I should do it soon. I will start giving him lessons from today or tomorrow, depending on how this fight goes.

Hans seemed to be the first one to make a move. His eyes started burning bright red as he prepared his Optic Blast, but there was someone faster than him.

One moment Hans was about to fire his lasers, the next moment, he dropped down as if someone how turned him off. It was scary how Jean dealt with him with such ease.

'Keep a watch over Emma, but let her try on her own first,' I said to Jean.

I'm more than confident that Jean is a lot better than Mastermind when it came to mental combat, but I wanted to give Emma a chance. Hopefully, with the increased stats, she will be able to deal with Jason on her own.

I will still keep an eye on Emma, using Observe on her from time to time, and making sure that she is fine. Her fight will be a mental one, and I won't be able to visibly see if anything was wrong with her.

Still, I had my own fight, and I wanted to see what I was capable of with my current stats.

I took a step forward while activating Mana Strengthening and appeared in front of N2 in a burst of speed. He was clearly surprised, but he managed to quickly react by throwing a punch towards my face.

However, I was even quicker and dodged his attack by slightly tilting my head to the side.

At that moment, Creed also tried to attack me since he was next to N2, but I used Telekinesis and threw him towards Peter and Kurt. He is their opponent, not mine.

N2 didn't stay idle and quickly spun around after his punch missed, sending a roundhouse kick my way. I ducked under his attack with ease. My Martial Arts, Kinaesthetic Sense, time dilation, and movement speed was more than enough for me to dodge. In fact, it was almost too simple.

I didn't even strike him back, allowing N2 to attack me freely, but he didn't manage to land a single hit on me. That really boosted my confidence.

A bit too much, I might say, as one of N2's attacks was clearly not going to reach me, and I didn't bother to move away.

[Sense Danger increased to 11.]

N2's punch stopped a few inches away from my chest, and a burst of water erupted from his hand, blasting into me.

-398 HP

[Through a specific action, the skill, Water Resistance, has been created.]

I got soaked in water, but it at least rewarded me with a new resistance skill. The HP loss wasn't an issue since my HP regen was enough to restore it quickly. The Healing Factor skills did their job as intended.

N2 thought he now had me where he wanted to and tried blasting me with more water. For a moment, I considered whether I should allow him to hit me a few times to raise Water Resistance, but I decided against that.

I raised my hand and used Cryokinesis to freeze the water before throwing it at him with Telekinesis. The ice block slammed into him, caving his chest in, and sending him tumbling back.

N2 instantly got up while holding the ice, which slowly started decreasing in size while his chest quickly healed up. So, that's Aquatic Healing.

At that point, I felt satisfied. There wasn't much else I wanted to see, so I decided to end the fight.

I took a step towards N2, appearing in front of him in a burst of speed, prepared to use my special attack.

From my Inventory, I pulled out my Vibranium Brick and bricked him on the head, crushing it with the attack. N2 then turned into nothing more than participles.

[Level increased to 94]

[Acquired Magic Skill Book: Hydrokinesis]

That one was instantly absorbed. I love elemental magic skills.

[Hydrokinesis(Active) Lvl. 1/100: Through the usage of mana, the user can create and manipulate water. MP cost is depended on the shape and quantity of the water. The higher the skill, the less MP it would cost for all actions. The damage depends on Intelligence.]

My focus then returned back to the other two fights. It was hard to confirm who had the upper hand in the mental fight from a regular person's pov. Emma and Mastermind were locked in a staring contest, both having a pained expression on their faces as they battled in the astral plane.

I, however, was able to use Observe and see the levels of people above their heads.

Emma's level was at 122 when she had put on the enchanted equipment. Now, it was already at 124, only from fighting Mastermind in the astral plane. She was learning extremely fast, and obviously had a ton of potential as a Telepath.

Jean was also overlooking their fight, so I felt safe to just focus on Kurt and Peter. Creed fought like a true animal, relying on his instincts and madly slashing around with his claws.

[<Nightcrawler> Kurt Wagner Lvl. 89]

Kurt kept constantly teleporting all around him and trying to cut him with the sword. His swordplay was a bit awkward, but he had potential. He also seemed to be able to teleport a lot quicker with his increased stats.

[<Spiderman> Peter Parker Lvl. 111]

Peter, on the other hand, didn't have the ability to teleport, but he didn't need it. His stats were already on the superhuman level, but with the enchanted items, they were above 200 for sure.

Peter was preemptively dodging Creed's attacks as if he could sense where they would come from.

[Powers:

Spider Physiology: Weak Healing Factor; Sense Danger; Superhuman Equilibrium; Superhuman Physical Capabilities; Wall-Crawling]

With my improved Observe, I was able to see a bit more about what his Spider Physiology meant, and those are some pretty good skills.

I was also able to see what was the spider that had bitten him. It was a radioactive one that had been embodied by a totemic spider deity.

So, Peter has the blessing of a god. I think giving him a Heart-Shaped Herb shouldn't be much of a problem, and I'm a bit annoyed at myself I didn't check this out yesterday. I wonder how the herb will affect him.

The fight with Creed was in a stalemate, despite the efforts of Kurt and Peter. His healing factor was just too much for them to overcome, and he was able to slice apart Peter's web with his claws.

However, Creed was having a hard time hitting any of them. Nevermind, I spoke too soon as he just landed a hit on Kurt as he teleported behind Sabertooth. Creed's claws tore through the enchanted clothes and cut Kurt.

"ARGH!" Kurt yelled out as blood spurted from his chest.

Creed was about to jump on Kurt, and I had my Telekinesis prepared to stop him, but Peter caught his leg with his webs and threw him away. I just cast Healing Magic on Kurt and decided to stay out of the fight for the moment. This will be some valuable fighting experience for both.

Creed howled and cried like an animal as he b-lined towards Kurt, the smell of blood triggering his animal instincts. Peter tried getting in his way, but Sabertooth ignored his attacks. His healing factor was more than enough for him to heal all attacks.

Kurt didn't plan on staying idle. He just kept teleporting non-stop, clearly scared of being hit again. He didn't run away, however, and I was happy with that.

Their fight then turned into a game of cat and mouse, with Creed chasing Kurt around. I don't think they can take him down, but capturing him will be more than enough. Peter should be able to think of a way to do that.

I turned my attention to Emma and Mastermind's fight. Her level had risen by four more at this point, reaching 128. Emma looked a lot more comfortable now, and I believe the mental fight will be over soon.

I don't think I have to worry about her, so my attention returned back to Peter and Kurt.

Creed was still chasing Kurt, but Peter was shooting webs at his legs, and he was forced to cut them over and over again. That really seemed to have angered him as it was enough for Peter to take back the aggro.

Peter's dodging was truly incredible. When we talked, he told me he had never had any martial arts training, but he was doing an extremely good job. Giving him a few lessons on martial arts was definitely high on my list.

With Creed focused on Peter, Kurt was able to strike him a few times, but that wasn't doing much damage. Until Kurt suddenly teleported right above him, plunging the sword right into Creed's head.

"GRAHH!"

"Payback bitch!" Kurt said before teleporting away from the wildly swung claw.

Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to kill Sabertooth's clone. This guy has one hell of a healing factor if he can survive his brain being pierced.

Creed was desperately trying to remove the blade since even though he was able to heal fast, he was still able to feel pain.

That was all that Peter needed, and he started covering him with webs until he was nothing more than a cacoon.

I feel a bit disturbed that my only thought when I saw that was me wondering if Creed's healing factor was enough to let him survive without oxygen.

Not wanting to think about that, I turned to Emma, who had gained two more levels and had a confident expression on her face while Mastermind was on his knee. Soon enough, he fell down, and Emma smiled happily.

[<Mastermind> Jason Wyngarde Lvl. 15 (Vegetative State)]

Ugh, Emma really did a number on him. Wow! She put him in a vegetative state while happily smiling.

'Thank you!' Emma said to both Jean and me.

At that moment, Kurt walked over and nudged me in the waist with his elbow.

"What?" I asked.

"She's smiling at you!" Kurt whispered angrily, "And you gave her gifts."

I just shrugged my shoulders. I can't do much about that.

"Why didn't you help us?" Kurt then asked.

"If you want to become a god, you have to put in some work, right?" I said, tapping him on the shoulder with a cheeky grin on my face.

Kurt then started throwing punches my way, which I avoided with ease.

'So am I in the group now?' Emma asked, sounding hopeful.

At this point, I think I might as well invite her to the Guild. I mean, I even gave her the enchanted items, which are like a trademark for the Guild.

"Invite Emma Frost to Sanctuary," I said and saw her flinch before her eyes opened wide. Yeah, that is the natural reaction to a blue screen appearing in front of your eyes.

'What is this?' Emma asked, and Jean was the one to explain to her. I had some other important stuff to handle, like raising my Intelligence to 500.

[Due to Intelligence passing over 500, the skill, Demigod's Magic, has been created.]

[Due to Intelligence passing over 500, the skill, Demigod's Mana Control, has been created.]

[Demigod's Magic(Passive) Lvl. Max: The user has the magic of a Demigod. Magic Power and total MP increased by 50%.]

[Demigod's Magic Control(Passive) Lvl. Max: The user has the magic control of a Demigod. Mana based skills cost 50% less. Magic skill increase 60% faster.]

I like the effects, I really do, but I kinda felt hurt. I'm a Minor God, which should still be better than a Demigod. I feel like my ability is patronizing me.

The only thing I was sad about was that the next threshold will probably 1000, and I wouldn't get to see it in a long time since I have four more stats I need to raise over 500. That will take a long time.

I then focused on our three incapacitated attackers. Sabertooth was easy to deal with since he was a clone.

The other two, however, I'm not sure how to deal with. Mastermind was in a vegetative state and was not a threat, but Hans was just shut off. I made sure that he stays that way before teleporting them over to a clone to keep a watch on them for now.

After Jean had explained everything to Emma, including that we were in the Mirror Dimension, we walked over to a secluded alley and exited the place.

I was about to ask Peter when would be a good time to schedule some fighting training for him and to offer him the Heart-Shaped Herb when Jean suddenly frowned.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Xavier just contacted me," Jean said, and I felt the urge to punch a certain bald-headed guy.

"What does he want?" I asked.

"He wants our help," Jean started, " most of the X-Men have been captured by the Brotherhood. He knows where they are, but he needs help to rescue them."

I would've thought that might be a trick of some sort, but then I got a prompt.

[Quest has been created.]

[Rescue the X-Men: Help Charles Xavier save the captured X-Men members.]

[Reward: 1 000 000 XP; ???]

[Failure: The death of some X-Men and Brotherhood members.]

[Duration: 4 hours]

So, this might not be a trap, but why would some of the Brotherhood members die? Something doesn't seem right here.
