Mission Accomplished

The eternals were blinking their eyes in confusion as they stared at the young man in front of them.

"What?" Sersi was the first to break out of their stupor and asked

Lucy still with a shit eating grin on his face "It was a lie... All of it"

"So you weren't attacked by monsters?" Asked an irritated Sersi again.

"I was... Not" Lucy said with a depressed expression but turned it to a grin once said the last part.

Sersi was confused at first but quickly got to the conclusion that the human in front of them was simply spouting nonsense, as for why, she had no idea.

But she didn't like someone tricking her like that, she felt a hint of anger and disappointment that a human would do something like that to her.

[You have slightly disappointed and angered 1 eternal]

"Slightly? Eh good enough" Lucy shrugged, happy that he was able to pull one off at least, but what about the others...

Contrary to what Lucy thought, one of the eternals burst out in laughter

"I admit, it was quite a performance" Sprite said. Ever the trickster, she felt quite happy when she actually met someone similar to her.

"I actually almost believed you, if you didn't reveal it in the end" Sprite said as she shrugged the matter off

"Not affected huh..." Lucy thought, then he smiled deviously

"Thanks for the compliment... Little girl, ah I meant little god, oh wait it should be goddess" Lucy said as he smiled each time he called her a new title.

[You have annoyed 1 eternal]

"Heh no slightly this time... Wait" Lucy then looked towards Sprite who looked like she would trap him in an illusion of hell just for his insult.

But before she could do anything, Gil stepped up

"Hey Sprite come on, we can't use our powers on humans remember"

"Tch, I was just going to give him a little scare..."

Shaking his head, Gil walked towards Lucy and spoke with a chuckle

"You probably shouldn't insult her about being a little girl..."

"I don't really care if your story is true or not, but if you really don't have anywhere to stay, just stay here in the tribe, it's safe" Gil said with a shrugg

Once again Lucy was taken aback "right... They're eternals, of course they wouldnt be so susceptible to human emotions. Sersi only had slight emotions, Sprite only felt annoyance, while Gilgamesh didn't even budge..."

Lucy turned towards the big man and then asked a question

"Why don't you care?" He was just curious

"Because whether or not your story is true, it is true that there are humans I couldn't protect, and that I will continue to protect my family and the humans" Gilgamesh said with a shrugg as he walked out of the tent.

Lucy was impressed, but only chuckled and shook his head.

"Well nice prank kid, I'm going too" Sprite then exited the tent following Gilgamesh.

"Goodbye then um" Sersi was about to say goodbye but forgot she never asked the young man's name

"It's Nin-Ezen, goddess" Lucy said the name that he remembered belonged to the body. It meant life bringer or something along those lines.

"Ohh, goodbye then Nin-Ezen... And don't trick people in the future it's bad for both parties" Sersi said as she walked out of the tent with a smile. Although once she remembered Lucy's shit eating grin, she wanted to hit him, she put that thought aside quickly.

Lucy meanwhile was inside the tent sighing to himself

"I can't believe I risked my life trying to carefully incite negative emotions only to be nothing but a small turmoil"

Lucy could understand this as his small deciet was nothing but a blip in their eternal existence.

"Heh" Lucy smiled to no one in particular at his pun.

Lucy quickly perked up however and checked his system panel.

"I got rewards anyway, that's enough for me..."

[Received Reward: Common Ticket]

"Tch..." Although Lucy was disappointed that it was only a Common Ticket, he was still happy as it was better than Trash Ticket.

"Hopefully I don't get something like a goblin with this..."

Lucy shook those thoughts out of his head and prepared to execute the last part of his plan. Leaving...

...

After jogging for a couple of minutes, Lucy was met with Unohana suddenly appearing in front of him.

"Mission accomplished, where's Gob?" Lucy asked as he didn't see the green imp with Unohana.

"Congratulations Lucy, I placed Gob in a forest, he's hunting a deer right now"

"Ohh, can he do it?" Lucy was surprised that while he was gone, the little goblin was actually hunting. No offence but, while the goblin is agile it couldn't contend with an adult human if it comes to direct confrontation.

"Gob is actually quite cunning, he set up traps using simple sticks and holes. But that seems to be where his intelligence ends, Gob still has the intelligence of a child" Unohana answered with some surprise in her voice.

"Heh, truly living up to its name of goblin" Lucy was happy that Gob finally seemed to have a use now. Although Lucy and Unohana could do it faster and better...

"We should go, the tribesmen might be mad that I tricked their gods" Lucy sighed remembering the faces of the tribesmen when Sprite told them that I was lying

"Maybe I shouldn't have called her a little girl... Nah it was worth it"

Unohana sweeped Lucy off his feet and carried him in a princess carry before using flash step.

"This is a little..." Lucy looked up and saw Unohana smiling mischievously at his embarrassed face.

Causing Lucy to blink in a dazed manner "Unohana's getting more bold it seems... Not that it's bad, a robotic summon wouldn't be fun at all... Or maybe it would..."

...

Sounds of insects could be heard through the forest as a green humanoid was dragging the corpse of a deer.

It turned it's head towards at a particular direction and screeched in happiness.

"Looks like you succeeded..." Out of the darkness Lucy appeared... Still laying on the arms of Unohana who looked a little out of it.

"Lucy would you like to get down now?" Unohana suddenly asked.

"Ahh actually I still don't want to... I'm quite tired from the mission you see, and it's quite comfortable on your arms" Lucy said with a tired expression on his smiling face as he looked at Unohana's poker face.

I may be younger than you but if it comes to shamelessness... Hehe...

This was just Lucy enjoying himself and getting back at Unohana's sudden princess carry, which he deemed enjoyable and prolonged.

"Not only is it warm... It's quite soft..."

Unohana's eyes twitched but she remained silent, keeping a poker face.

"Well we should prepare a camp first before I invite our new friend"

Gob nodded and enthusiasticly led the princess-carried Lucy towards a relatively spacious clearing. Gob then turned to Lucy with a face that wanted to be praised.

Lucy chuckled and encouraged Gob before ordering him around.

"Good work Gob, you found a nice place."

After ordering Gob around for a few minutes, the camp was set up. A few logs that surrounded a small stone circle with wood inside it.

Lucy gazed up at Unohana which prompted her to use a small kido to light up the sticks.

The fire made crackling sounds as the goblin put the mutyon on sticks over the fire.

"Hehe summons are the best" Lucy smiled as throughout the entire time he was just laying comfortable on Unohana arms while his summons did the work.

"I should summon another sla- ehem I mean friend" Lucy thought to himself, promptly opening the system panel
