Chapter 6

Arriving at High Heaven Pavilion, Shao Jingyi started to inquire about Yang Kai. After some troubles he found the manor Su Yan lived at. Outside the manor Shao Jingyi knocked on the door. "Hello, martial sister Su Yan. Are you home? I've come to inquire about brother Yang's whereabouts"

Su Yan greeted Shao Jingyi at the door and said she didn't know where Yang Kai had gone but she redirected him to a girl called Xia Ning Chang. After meeting and talking to the girl called Xia Ning Change for a bit, he was directing in a certain direction which Yang Kai set off in. He thanked the girl and left.

Shao Jingyi was setting off now and probably wouldn't meet Yang Kai for many years. He wanted to give some things to him before he left for the higher realm. After a day of traveling in the direction given to him by Xia Ning Change, he saw signs of Yang Kai being here. He followed and after two days he had caught up to Yang Kai.

Approaching him from behind, it seemed that Yang Kai was performing some kind of movement skill. It was imperfect but it seemed to be getting better overtime. Shao Jingyi just stayed back and watched. Soon he started to copy Yang Kai from a couple yards back making sure not to get noticed. Overtime he started to make his own tweaks and changed the style up to better suit him. This continued on for about a month until Yang Kai stopped. Sneaking up behind him Shao Jingyi released his aura and yelled, BOO!!!

Yang Kai jumped as he turned around and threw a roundhouse kick. The kick flew swiftly through the air landing on Shao Jingyi's solid head causing Yang Kai to shout, FUCK!!!!

"Why the hell is your body so hard," Yang Kai grunted.

"Of course because I train harder than you," Shao Jingyi replied.

"So why are you here?," Yang Kai asked puzzled.

"To see you, I'm not going to see you for a long time, I hope you won't forget me by then," Shao Jingyi said with a smile.

"Where are you going," Yang Kai asked but Shao Jingyi didn't answer him.

"You will find out yourself in the future. As for now, have this," Shao Jingyi said as he passed a space ring over to him. On it was a restriction which would make him unable to unlock it unless he reached the Saint Realm. Thanks to his attainments in space arrays, he was able to perform this. "Well, until next time, brother Yang, take care," Shao Jingyi said disappearing from view.

"Wait, brother Shao," Yang Kai spoke out but was too late.

Swiftly traversing the vast world, Shao Jingyi travelled in search of spatial fluctuations. If he could find a stable void corridor, it could lead him out of this world and into a new one. Settlement after settlement, Shao Jingyi search for signs of fluctuations for days. Urging his space force he was steadily increasing his attainments towards the space dao. After scowering the entire continent, he arrived in the middle of nowhere. In the air, Shao Jingyi felt some spatial fluctuations which weren't visible to the naked eye. Activating his space force, nothing happened. Shao Jingyi had reached a roadblock. His attainments towards space weren't profound enough to forcefully open the void corridor. Unable to do nothing, Shao Jingyi shut his eyes and started peering into the mysterious of Space.

He pondered about Space, and how he could tear it. Space is infinite as it is empty. There is nothing while nothing is hidden. I must find it and grasp it. Shao Jingyi thought to himself. After half an hour he opened his eyes. This time he felt confident. Shifting his right arm to the left, he slashed horizontally. In its place, space was teared. He was not done though. He now had to form a connection with this space tear and the outside world to create a void corridor. Sticking his arm inside, Shao Jingyi shut his eyes to concentrate. He was sensing the turbulent Space within the Space tear. After a minute he locked on to something and closed his fists. He had formed a connection. Pulling his fist out of the tear, he open the palm of his left hand and activated his space force, slowly transforming the space tear, into a void corridor.

After it was made it started to become unstable. His attainments weren't high enough to keep a newly formed void corridor stable yet so he immediately entered before it collapsed. Traveling within the void corridor, Shao Jingyi started to feel nauseated. He felt weak but continued to hang on before he was finally thrown out of the void corridor. He flew right into a tree, face first. Well, that's one way to fix it, he thought. His dizziness dissipating. He has now arrived in a higher world, this one called, Tong Xuan Realm. Immediately you could tell that the quantity and quality of the ambient qi was better than the lower realm, but not as much as the amount in the legacy cave.

Shao Jingyi didn't have much of a plan. For now he just wanted to exit the smaller worlds and get to the Outer Universe. Realistically that wouldn't be possible unless he reached at least the Emperor Realm. But Shao Jingyi had his ways. For now he planned to stay at least a year to cultivate in the Tong Xuan Realm.
