Manjiro Chisaki

(Shizuoka Prefecture)

"Hey, isn't that the new kid?"

"Yeah, he looks so arrogant."

"He'll be put in his place quickly."

Walking leisurely down the hallway to his classroom was a blond boy no older than 11.

He was wearing a black tracksuit with white sneakers.

His hair lay loosely around his head while a lollipop was stuck in his mouth.

Knocking on the door to the principal's office he waited, hearing a "Come in," from behind it he entered.

Closing the door behind him the boy turned around.

The room was quite spacious with a bookshelf to one side and a desk in the middle behind which sat a man.

He was quite plump with receding brown hair and black eyes.

Whipping his forehead with a handkerchief he looked up at the boy.

"Ah, come, have a seat."

Walking forward the boy took the brown bag off his back and lay it next to the seat he just sat down in.

Rifling through the unorganised papers on his desk the man eventually pulled out a sheet of paper.

Squinting his eyes he looked at it, "So… Chisaki Manjiro?"

He glanced up at the boy, seeing him nod the man continued.

"You will be placed in class… 5-A."

Seeing Manjiro nod again the man continued, "Here are the school rules and your schedule."

Handing them to the boy he waved his hand in a dismissive manner, "you may go now."

Standing up, Manjiro picked up his bag and left.

Walking down the corridor towards his new classroom he kept moving the lollipop around in his mouth.

Arriving in front of the sliding door to his classroom he knocked.

Hearing the noises from inside quiet down he waited, it soon opened revealing a woman in her mid-thirties with long blue hair and pale blue eyes.

"Oh, you must be Manjiro-kun, am I right."

"Yeah," he answered, the lollipop still in his mouth.

"I'm Shirayama-sensei nice to meet you," she was about to turn when she spoke again, "Oh yeah, and, Manjiro-Kun, would you please get rid of your lollipop."

Nodding he took out the wrapper and put it back in place around the lollipop.

Smiling at him, Shirayama-sensei then motioned him to floor her.

Walking inside the classroom Manjiro instantly picked out the different types of people.

The troublemakers, the idiots, the rule followers, the teacher's pet and of course the shy kid.

Clapping her hands together, Shirayama-sensei instantly got the class's attention, "Class, this is Chisaki Manjiro. He will be joining your class as of today."

Turning to him she smiled," Manjiro-Kun would you like to introduce yourself."

Looking up at the class he clicked his tongue, "I'm Manjiro Chisaki but you can just call me Mikey. I like sweets and interesting people. Um… I hope you will take care of me."

Looking back at Shirayama-sensei, he saw her nod in acknowledgement, "Manjiro-Kun you can sit over there, behind Izuku-Kun."

Nodding Mikey walked over to his new seat and sat down.

Taking out his school equipment he waited for class to start.

Shirayama-sensei soon began and of course, it was his least favourite subject, Japanese literature.

As class progressed he noticed how all the students, in particular, the boy Izuku kept stealing glances at him.

The bell soon rang and everybody jumped up from their seats.

Leaning forward to the only other person who hadn't stood up, Mikey tapped his shoulder.

Jumping in surprise Izuku turned to look at his new classmate.

"Yo, how long is the brake?" Mikey asked the lollipop again in his mouth.

"Um… Um… five minutes." Izuku stammered out.

Thanking him, Mikey leaned back and placed his feet on the table.

It was only about a minute later when someone disturbed him from his rest.

"Oy, you."

Opening his eyes he saw a boy with spiky blond hair and red eyes looking down at him.

"What?"

"What's your quirk?" he asked, a large cocky grin plastered on his face.

Mikey's emotionless eyes gored into the other boy's red ones, "Hm? Why should I tell you?"

A frown appeared on the kids face, "What, are you quirkless or something?"

Out of the corner of his eye, Mikey noticed Izuku flinching at the boy's words.

"We can fight for it."

"Huh, you wanna fight me, you little shit."

Just then the door slid open and the teacher walked in preventing the two from speaking any longer.

Mikey was sitting outside, on one of the ping-pong tables eating a cut of instant ramen, when the boy from earlier showed up.

But he was not alone, behind him stood at least five guys with cocky smiles on their faces.

Mikey just looked at the boy uncaringly, while slurping his ramen.

"I'm here to fight." said the ash-blond kid with enthusiasm, but Mikey didn't respond and just continued eating.

Seeing Mikey ignore him made the kid angry, gritting his teeth he rushed forward ready to punch the disrespectful runt.

But just as he was about to punch him Mikey jumped up and back landing at the back of the ping-pong table.

Somehow he was still eating his ramen of which not a single drop had been spilt.

"You bastard, stop ignoring me!" shouted the kid that somehow looked more and more like a pomeranian the longer Mikey watched him.

Slurping up the last noodles Mikey put down the cup on noodles and stood up straight.

Grinning cockily Katsuki pointed at his chest, "Before I beat you into the dust I'll tell you my name.

I'm-"

"I don't care," Mikey said harshly his cold black eyes staring straight into Katsuki's red ones.

A shiver ran up the bully's spine but before he could retort Mikey with the small amount of space he had ran forward and jumped off the table, right at Katsuki.

Not expecting the small kid to have such speed he couldn't dodge and the next moment he found himself lying on the floor with Mikey standing next to him.

"You bastard," He muttered as he was standing up.

Raising his leg Mikey kicked him right in the face breaking his nose.

Katsuki gasped at the pain and was about to cry out but was stopped by a punch to the face.

Crouching down Mikey grabbed Katsuki by side of his head and pull him closer so they would only be a few inches apart.

"Now you listen to me, you won't tell anybody about what happened here and I'll forget all about your insults.

Do we understand each other?"

Katsuki gulped down the knot that had formed itself at the back of his throat and nodded.

"Good," Mikey said while giving the taller boy a closed eye smile.
