Chapter 4. 'The interview'

Meanwhile, Isla was ready to go for the interview. She took public transport to The Lee corporation head office.

It was a huge building with lots of security at the gates. If someone wants to get into the building, had to go through a series of security check. Isla was at awe . It was a dream land for her. Having been through a lot of struggle her entire life till now, she was still very thankful to God that she could reach till here. Now she had only dream to work in this sky touching building.

Entering into the building, she went to the receptionist. The receptionist was a very beautiful lady in her probably early 30's . "I am here for a job interview" said Isla to the lady.

"Ma'am please wait in the waiting room on forth floor. You will be called from there. You can use the lift over there." She said pointing the lift .

"Thank you " replied the Isla and went the way.

IN THE INTERVIEW ROOM.

"So you are here for your internship . I see you have been a brilliant student in your college. Why do you think we should appoint you in the company? Because you see we have many candidates who have graduated from prestigious universities like Oxford and Howard. " one of the interviewer asked.

" Sir, I am a very hardworking person. And I had seen a lot of difficult situations in my life. But whatever I went through, I never let it affect my determination of making my life worth it. I work hard, and I will do the same to take the company to reach new heights".

"Miss Jones I see you , you are very young , just 21. Why do you need you find a job at such a young age. You could pursue studing further since you are really tallented I see." asked another interviewer.

"Sir I am in a dire need of a job since I have no one to support my self for further studies. And also, it has been my dream to work in this company ." she smiled.

"Miss Jones , you may wait in the waiting room. The results will be declared within half an hour." one of the interviewer said.

" Thank you , sir" Isla walked out.

After half an hour, the results were announced. Isla was selected as an intern in finance department of the head office, which was a really high position, for now , to her. She was very happy and the happiness could be seen in her face.

Jasper walked out of the interview room, with cold aura around him. But when he saw Isla , he stoped for 3 sec and smiled at her. Isla was stunned .

Jasper was one of the interviewers . Isla found him very handsome but at the same time very intimidating. During the entire interview, he didn't ask a single question, but still Isla was most intimidated by him.

What she didn't knew was that , Jasper was a 'Lee' .

And that too, the younger brother of Daniel Lee, who was the CEO and known for his cold and domineering aura around him.
