Ch. 5

A cold voice sounds out behind Zack, "I heard you're looking for me."

Zack turns around and sees the famous sannin himself. Still somewhat in awe at seeing the real flesh and blood Orochimaru. The man has the aura of a cunning snake. Deadly at any moment, yet strangely charismatic. Zack's not surprised he developed so many loyal followers. He begins to speak,

"Yes lord Orochimaru, I've heard of your genius mind and curiosity about science. I come from a secret medical family of generations and hoped to find refuge in you with my talents."

"Medical family? You have one chance to show your skill to me, otherwise your ending will be horrific."

For a moment after Orochimaru spoke Zack felt condensed killing intent giving him no illusion of safety. Just because he's immortal doesn't mean he can't be sealed. Orochimaru takes him to a hidden laboratory further telling Zack that if he can't impress the man his journey is likely over.

After a few questions along the way Zack's newly bought unique modern knowledge has given Orochimaru some expectations for his performance. A few dark experiments later that will not be explained has convinced Orochimaru and he has agreed to take Zack under his wing.

"I'm still surprised your medical knowledge could be so extensive without the presence of chakra and medical ninjutsu."

"This is the culmination of my families exploration of the human body over centuries." Zack replies with bullshit.

So for the next two months Zack has helped Orochimaru on experiments continuously brushing up favorability. Despite all his hard work he has only managed to get 45/100 favorability. Considering Orochimaru's personality this may be the best it will get anytime soon though.

Over the past few months Zack has been working with Orochimaru on important experiments, however due to his lack of ninjutsu knowledge he has requested to and been put into the Hashirama cell project where modern medicine can shine. After these months he finally has results and is convinced he can transplant them into himself. He directly uses 35 of Orochimaru's favorability to have him perform the experiment based on bone marrow transplants in modern earth. 25 of the favorability is to get him to use cells on himself, and the other ten are to get a pair of sharingans to replace his eyes.

"Are you sure Zack? This is still an untested experiment. Taking risks like this is ridiculous as a scientist."

"I'm positive lord Orochimaru, if I don't take risks I'll never get ahead in this dangerous world."

"Very true, well then let's begin."

During the surgery Zack suppresses the healing of the Bacchus factor in order to not alert Orochimaru to the special chemical in his body. God forbid if this snake knew that a chemical that can give immortality is being naturally produced in his spine, he'll never end well.

The Hashirama stem cells Zack specially prepared were all used and transplanted into his body. Suppressing the natural healing instinct of his body is difficult yet he manages despite almost losing control during the eye surgery. A few prompts pop up but he ignores them due to the extreme pain his bodies physique changing and new eyes being connected in.

Eventually the pain stops and Zack sits up. Orochimaru looks at him and says, "How do your new body and eyes feel?"

Zack at his words looks at the Main God prompts,

[Hidden Mission: Successfully cultivate Hashirama's cells onto someone else. Complete. Rewards will be calculated in the final evaluation.]

[Elementary Senju physique gained: The Senju physique gives a boost to the bodies physique and recovery. It also increases chakra regeneration as well as chakra reserves. But it's most valuable thing is the ability to use basic wood release ninjutsu.]

[One tomoe Sharingan gained: The one tomoe Sharingan allows users to see chakra, increase visual clarity, copy ninjutsu and perform genjutsu.]

[Bonus: the Senju bodies composition does away with the defect of using a sharingan without the Uchiha's physique.]

Something that does surprise Zack is he only has a one tomoe sharingan he used a three tomoe one in his surgery. After inquiring to the space he learns that the sharingan is very troublesome. No matter what eye you use, you start at one tomoe and have to consume points and more eyes to upgrade it further.

"They feel amazing to be honest, if I had chakra I would try to perform wood release."

"To congratulate you." Orochimaru says this then hands over a book.

Looking at it, it's the method for cultivating and feeling chakra. Thanking Orochi, Zack proceeds to spend the next two months building chakra reserves. It's slow but due to the Senju body it's much quicker than others. He finally uses his last ten favorability with Orochi to learn three wood release techniques.

He learns the wood clone, cutting, and hand tool manipulation jutsu. These three in order; cloning allows one to create a wooden clone splitting chakra in half. The great thing about the wooden clone, unlike shadow clones is it can take multiple hits. The cutting technique gives one the ability to grow and shoot wooden spikes out of the body that when hitting opponents can grow throughout the body skewering it. The final hand tool manipulation is the least exciting, it allows one to grow small wooden tools out of their hand such as keys.

Now Zack has his most basic outline for extraordinary ability. His bodies regeneration is at a crazy level with the Bacchus factor plus the Senju body. Even if he dies he can resurrect a few days later. He might be the most overpowered two mission person in existence. Plus with the lethality of the cutting technique and versatility of the clone and tool techniques he is ready for whatever comes across him.

There's only one month left in this mission space and Zack wanted to see the village a little bit. Orochimaru arranges him an identity as the unheard of offspring of a Senju woman and Uchiha father that had left the hidden leaf village years ago. They met up and had him Zack Uchiha.

After leaving the secret lab he walks through the forest and hears a faint voice, "497, 498, 499, 500! Now five hundred push ups."

Zack walks into a clearing in between Konoha and the secret lab, he sees a young bushy browed Might Guy. Around his age of eight, Guy is currently doing push ups and counting them out. He does this until Zack walks out of the clearing and after spotting Zack, Guy hops up and says to him,

"I've never seen you in the village, are you interested in experiencing youth with with me?"

Zack shivers a moment before responding, "What would that entail?"

"Of course training, sparring, and more training! I only invite you because my instinct tells me you burn with the flames of youth!"

The mechanical voice of the Main God pipes up, [Hidden Mission triggered: Train with Might Guy. Rewards will be calculated accordingly.]

Thus Zack entered the maw of hell that is Might Guy's training system. Hundreds of thousands of exercises a day, sparring against the taijutsu demon that is Guy, trembling muscles and constant sweat. Zack swears he has never worked so hard in his life. If he didn't have the Senju body and Bacchus factor he's positive he couldn't do it. What's astonishing is how Guy accomplishes this with his regular body.

One day, a week until the end of this mission space for Zack and the newcomers a group of three reincarnators show up at Guy's training location. What they see makes them angry however. The newcomer who disappeared before they arrived at the ninja school four and a half months ago was training with this key plot character.

One of the three speaks up, "Hey you! What the hell dude why didn't you tell us you had an in to Guy's favorability and training. Everyone could have at least got a D-level plot point!"

"I don't have to reveal my strategies and knowledge to anybody on the street." Zack replies.

"The Culver guy told us his knowledge! Everyone's going to get a C-level plot point, he's actually a good person."

"Buzz off loser." Zack's getting annoyed, what is this a XianXia novel?

"Come on boys let's beat this bastard up! Guy don't get involved please, this is our business with this kid."

Guy says with a thumbs up, "I don't know what you're talking about, but I like the passion! Game on!"

The three newcomers rush up to Zack in an attempt to beat him up. However how can fools who only have a little chakra compete with Zack? He thoroughly thrashes them with overwhelming speed and power. The three leave embarrassed with comical lumps on their heads.
