We had already ridden for about 24 hours. Whenever I felt that the bird had mana deficiency, I would fill him up to the brim. the bird liked me now as far as I know.

Arshaya was confused about the how the bird had gotten so powerful in couple of weeks. She didn't think much about it since there were things waiting for the Shara family.

Arshaya had decided to renounce the Dunt name just like her mother after hearing what her uncle had did to her mother. The whole image of a kind uncle had been transformed into a wolf in sheep's cloth.

"We just crossed the strait of Duland, now we must fly east. " Arshaya suggested to her mother.

I didn't know the specific names yet but Madam asked the birdie to fly east.

After 4 hours, we had reached the borders of the city. It was like a city state. The walls extended for miles as far as one could see.

The inner city was towards the East. Augustus town had developed from the coast into the hinterland. So, the areas around the coast were posh.

The Augustus castle was on a hill over looking the Augustus port. The River joined the sea at the city. Boats transferring goods from the port into the inner districts could be seen.

Finally, we saw a large bird drawn on the ground.

This seemed like the airport. One couldn't fly unregistered mounts after this point or he would be shot down by mages.

We de-boarded from the bird. Madam took away the saddle and the bird flew away slowly reducing in size. After a couple of minutes, we had a small sparrow on Arshaya's shoulder which looked totally un-harmful.

We got a carriage to the palace where we wanted to see the king. We had to have face to face deal.

I sat in front with madam and daughter in the carriage. After twists and turns, we reached a place where we could send a messenger in for appointment.

Soon, a fat man came and invited us in.

It was like a conference room with sound proof room.

Soon, a young gentleman came in. I looked at his status, he had about 4900 mana and similar HP. He was almost at the cusp of a Grand Archmage.

He was psychic type from what I could see.

From what I had heard, the king was less than 100 years old. this king could be said to be talented.
