New Place

I got into the palace carriage and it took and we went down the curvy road.

This time, we didn't go towards the airport but to the nobles district.

The villas here were much larger from what I had seen at Browntown. They had paid attention to the aesthetics. Almost all influential nobles had estates in the noble district. This Noble District was next to the Port Area.

The extremely rich nobles even had houses touching the coast. They could park their ships directly in their backyard. The sea was deep next to the coast making Augustus city a natural harbor.

I just noticed that areas closer to the Palace were at a higher elevation and slowly decreased as one went farther from.

The nobles district was the highest for an area I had seen till now when we rode the carriage. I will thinking of how to solve this predicament.

Soon, we reached the outskirts of far end of the Nobles district and the carriage entered a huge mansion. I doubted whether we were entering the correct place. This villa had a private dock which seemed inappropriate for a slave.

The villa would have been perfect if Svetlana and Arshaya were not enslaved. I needed gold to break their contracts. If I could have 100 gold, I could upgrade psychic magic to level 4 and break the contracts but still but this could be seen as a challenge to the Royal family.

I brought them inside the villa and asked the chef to prepare some meals for us. I could order around Madam and Arshaya. I had a plan but I was thinking about how to implement it.

But shouldn't the slaves have worse accomodation. Something was not right and I wasn't sure about it.

I needed to find something to latch onto. Otherwise, the only option would be to escape to Napoli across the ocean. I had also heard talks about old world and new world here but I wasn't sure about it.

We had food and I asked Svetlana and Madam to give me all their valuables.

The wealth in my tab moved to about 2500 points. With this much money, I could upgrade my skills to another level.

I had to upgrade psychic magic to level 4 to break that slave contract. I had seen it with my elemental sight. Actually, I could have tried breaking it now as well.My psychic mana seemed purer than the chain was made up of but it would be smoother after an upgrade.

I had seen the space skill so I needed to activate that.

I could upgrade bunch of other skills to level 3 but I didn't feel like I needed them. Sure, my mana capacity would in increase by a lot but I could upgrade them when I needed. There was no need to be hasty.

I also upgraded sound magic to level 2 which I had learned from Margaret and body magic to level 2 for easier disguise.

Then, I called Svetlana and Arshaya into the room. I placed my hand on her chest. I could see the pain her eyes. Did she think I was going to **** her or what. Even Arshaya was looking at it without a dead expression.

What an awful spell taking away the freedom and making them into zombies. Still, I felt this spell was much easier compared to the subtle compulsion spells since you could easily see if you were dealing with a slave.

I passed focussed on Svetlana's magic heart and broke the soul chain which was wrapped around her heart by using mana and rune encryption knowledge.

I did the same for Arshaya and freed her as well.
