Name

To be honest I want to be mad at him. Aaron who promised to be by my side when I became king. In the recent weeks it's been the only think that has kept me calm. Like saying nothing will change we'll still be a family and he'll still give me advice. But now, I sigh as I turn from him. I promised I'd give his teacher the ability to explain but right now I didn't want to. But, if I am going to loose Aaron as I he is now.. A hand grasps my shoulder as I turn to leave. He's shaking, he's scared. I think cursing myself 'all I am doing is being selfish.'

"What?" I ask Aaron the anger seething out of my mouth.

"When I... take on my new form" he pause and looked to the floor "I will have failed in this life." He stopped and looked up to me "In my new life I want you to name me." A sad smile spreads across his face.

"You want me to name your blade" I look at Aaron confused.

"We don't know if the process will work... and teacher says"

I cut him off "He says what." I spit.

"He says that there's a big chance I'll forget. Everything. Growing up in the castle, helping you with your homework on late nights" he paused. " I'll remember the knowledge but not how I got it." He says sadly " I'll forget what it's like to be human...."

"Why?" I can't help but scream "why is this happening to you!" My heart falls to pieces at the thought of loosing those memories.

"Brother's not going to be human?" Theo asks. Tears finally pouring down the 7 year olds face "your going to forget me?" He asked his heart breaking.

I freeze I forgot Theo was still here. "What's going to happen to Arri?!" He asks panicked

Arron hugs him. "I am going to take Theo back to his room." He says as he picks him up. " Please at least think about it." He says as he walks out holding Theo.

I grab my sword. No training tomarrow but thank the gods there's training today. It always helps me think. I grab my wooden sword and head straight for the training grounds. Father is out today setting up the final pieces of my right of passed, and the guards for the next three days are arranging shifts. So the next few days of training I will be alone and then the big day. But that's good cause if anyone saw me swinging my sword like a madman right now they'd conclude I'd be upset about something. I wanna think that it's just convenient timing. But I kind of feel like Aaron planed it this way.

Names for Aaron though, it's going to be hard calling him by a new one though. I pause in my stance for a second before swinging. But if I puts pressure on him. *Swing* It could negativity impact his new self.
