Episode 5

"Good, now we should get to class, it's about to start" said Carmen.

"No, After lunch we go to our dorms to get familiar with them, and then go to class which I think is enchantment" said Lotus as she took a paper out of her pocket.

"Oh right...well we're roommates anyway" said Carmen.

"Wait for my sketch book!" Lotus shouted.

"Right...where is it?" asked Carmen.

"um..I don't exactly remember I was sitting under this big tree when that other girl walked up and used her explosion magic to make it burn...then threw it somewhere" said Lotus.

"Well...lead the way," said Carmen.

Lotus and Carmen walked to where Lotus was last located during their lunch hour, and these two searched everywhere. Little did they know that Akaze had walked by, and found it thinking it would be best to take it back to its rightful owner whom he just so happened to have a crush on. "Damn it...that one had my favorite drawing I was working on too" Lotus said while sighing sadly.

"Hey, dont feel down...I'm sure somebody picked it up and took it to the lost and found...maybe" said Carmen.

"Right!" Lotus nodded.

The two then began walking to their dorm that they had to share, and Lotus had a little bit of hope that somebody found the sketch book she had lost. Eventually her mind began to wonder and she thought maybe someone had stolen it. No one would dare do such a thing right? maybe? Lotus slowly lost her mind, but didn't show it. Though Raiden was on his way to the dorm, he ran into Akaze. Now the more friendly thing to do would help your fellow classmate, but Raiden tried his best to avoid the windy boy. Eventually he cracked once he heard Akaze sigh softly. "Is something wrong Akaze?" Raiden asked with an internal groan.

"Oh! Hey Raiden...I can't find the dorms..." Akaze admitted.

"I hate to break it to you, but you're going the wrong way...the dorms are by the library," said Raiden.

"Oh...didn't realize I was going the wrong way...have you seen Lotus around?" asked Akaze

"I think I saw her going towards the girls restroom by the school field." said Raiden

"Thanks!" said Akaze.

"No problem wait… isn't that Lotus's sketch book?" Raiden asked Akaze pointing to the book in this hand.

"Huh? Oh yeah I was going to return it to her" said Akaze.

"Well don't go looking through it...well not without permission anyway" said Raiden as he started to walk the other way.

Lotus and Carmen walked to their shared dorm, but Lotus eventually cracked and quickly started running in the other direction. "we have to find it! There are things in that sketchbook that are to remain between the paper and I!" she said in an obvious panic.

"Hey it'll be fine, I'm sure whoever found it will return it" said Carmen trying to calm her classmate down.

So the two began their search for Lotus's sketchbook searching every possible part of the school facility until they began to see no sign of it. Lotus let out a sigh of disappointment as her and Carmen walked to their dorm, but once they got to the hallway leading into the dorms they ran into Akaze. Lotus wasn't paying attention to where she was going and bumped into Akaze on accident, doing so caused her to stumble backwards. "O-oh hi Akaze...um sorry about that Im kinda in a hurry...see I lost my sketchbo-'' Lotus stopped mid sentence then pointed to the object in his hand "is that my sketchbook! Where did you find it?" Lotus asked.

"Huh oh yeah I was looking for you, so that I could return the book...umm what about it is so secretive about it, if you don't mind me asking?" asked Akaze.

"My feelings are projected onto the paper…" said Lotus.

"O-oh. I see. That's understandable ." said Akaze with a soft smile on his face which caused Lotus to blush a little, and scurry away from Akaze and into her dorm. "Did I say something?" Akaze questioned after Lotus was gone.

Once Lotus was inside the dorm she closed the door behind her and slid down it with a big blush on her cheeks. She was deep in thought when she heard a soft chuckle come from the other side of the room that pulled her from her thoughts. "What?" Lotus asked looking at Carmen.

"Nothing," said Carmen with a smirk on her face.

"W-what?" asked Lotus again.

"Don't worry about it," said Carmen.

"Well you like Raiden!" Lotus shouted, trying to embarass Carmen not actually knowing whom her friend had a crush on.

"Ew no, I could never like that filthy mongrel" said Carmen as she casually flipped her hair.

"Raiden isn't that bad looking" said Lotus with a giggle.

"What's so funny?" Carmen asked with her arms crossed.

"It's just cute you don't know how you feel about him yet" said Lotus.

"I know exactly how I feel! Besides I...like somebody else…" said Carmen.

"What's his name? Unless it's a girl in that case what's her name?" asked Lotus

"Wh-why would I tell you?" asked Carmen.

"Because we're friends, and we're roommates...no one else is gonna hear" said Lotus.

"If you must know...I like...Riku" said Carmen.

"You like him...isn't he a bit bi-polar with the darkness and light magic?" asked Lotus

"Y-yeah...so what?" Carmen answered.

"That's cute I think you two would look cute together, but with his bi-polar deal he would probably get irritated with the tsundere act" said Lotus.

"L-let's just go to class," said Carmen.

"Oh...right about that...turns out with the opening ceremony, sparring, and dorm assignments we only had that class lunch then comd here to get settled in" said Lotus.

About Five months had passed since class 2-C had become classmates. During their time together they have all started to become really close friends, but of course Karma kept his distance from the others as a matter of fact he wanted nothing to do with them. Now we join our heroes at the end of their classes for the day.

"All I'm saying is that if you had thought your attacks through you woulda had him" said Lotus talking to Akaze about his sparring match against Raiden.

"Even then Akaze still wouldn't have had me just saying" said Raiden with a slightly cocky attitude.

"Enough on that, taking on both Lotus and Carmen has got to be the most difficult thing to do" said Riku looking at the two of them.

"I know I am pretty special," said Carmen, laughed softly.

"What can I say? I'm not really a great fighter" Said Akaze as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Besides Riku, Carmen kept you focused on her the entire time while I was able to get my shots in" said Lotus with a smile on her face.

"Can we just talk about how even though Karma doesn't really fight that often but when he does he always manages to give Mrs. Yuki a run for her money" said Riku.

"Yeah that's pretty nuts how come you don't spar everytime" Raiden asked.

" I can hear you!" Karma yelled from the back of the group.

"We know! We don't care!" Carmen yelled back.

"I don't understand him…" said Akaze sighing softly.

"We won't ever, but when he's not being a butt he's pretty cool" said Lotus.

"Hey Lotus, can I talk to you for a second?" asked Akaze.

Akaze led Lotus away from the group since he didn't want any of the others to hear him, and possibly embarrass him, or possibly make fun of him if he were shot down. You go this Akaze you've got this…the worst that could happen is she says no Akaze thought to himself. He cleared his throat then began to speak "So. I was.. Wondering" he said.

"Look at you Icarus finally asking me out huh? Gotta say you know how to keep a girl waiting." Said Lotus

"Heh. I'm not the most courageous individual, but yes. There are plenty of restaurants on campus. I was thinking I could take you on a date?" asked Akaze.

"Sure what time?" Lotus asked

"Tonight at 8? I'll meet you in the courtyard?" Asked Akaze

"I'll be there, Icarus," said Lotus.
