Huge (Minor) Update!

First things first, a bit of gushing out of nowhere.

The web novel 'Damn Reincarnation' is, in my opinion, peak reincarnation fantasy. It's not even close. I'm heavily inspired by 'Damn Reincarnation' as it is by far my favorite fantasy series at the moment, and honestly for the foreseeable future. I want to write a complex and interconnected world like Mogma has. I recommend it with my heart and soul.

Now on to an actual update.

For now, 'Magic Concept Academy' will not be continuing. I'm glad I started with it as it was a story brewing inside my head for a very long time, but I lost it a bit part way through the first arc. I say part way but it barely began and I sort of ditched it in the dirt. I feel bad about that and I have no excuses. Even in the short time it was around, I was taught to not completely rely on ideas that the 'me' from many many years ago thought up. I hope to create something far greater in the future. I may come back to MCA at some later date and remake what little was realized, but for now I'm done with it. I'm going to carry some things I had thought up for it into this future project, but I'm honestly not sure what. I'm trying to get a fresh start. I'm not going to try to break the mold. I must first conform to it before I can shatter it. I am also going to take inspiration from my favorite works by other authors. With MCA I specifically tried to avoid that, but clearly that didn't get me very far. I want to create a world that I truly love, while being influenced by other worlds that I love. It will be a while before I actually release anything as I'm starting almost completely from scratch.

For the few people who read each chapter of MCA as it was being released… almost half a year ago, I sincerely apologize. If there was anyone among you that was really looking forward to when it could possibly continue, I'm even more apologetic to you. Once again, I have no excuses. I hope those who enjoyed MCA while it lasted will join me again for my next work. I can't promise I'll be consistent with uploads to it, and in all honesty it might just end up like MCA. I will work hard to create a world that I am willing and eager to keep returning to and writing more for.

This entire update was very spur of the moment, as I've been sick for the past week and a half now. Reading an inspiring story (guess what it was) really kicked my ass into high gear, much to my head's dismay. Stay tuned for something interesting in the future.
