Some serious talk

Both father and son duo entered the study and proceeded to sit on the couch facing each other.

Jennie's father helped his father to sit on the comfortably first before he sat opposite him.

"What's the matter" Grandpa Lee asked his son without wasting any time.

"Why did you agreed to my daughter's request" Jennie's father asked with neutral espression on his face.

Like father like son.

As soon as both got comfortable on the couch, both jumped straight to the questions without beating around the bush.

As soon as he finished with his question, he felt as if room temperature plummeted to the great extent as he saw his father's cold gaze directed at him.

Grandpa Lee remained silent looking at his son without any intention to answer his question.

"Your daughter is my grand-daughter, I have full right to agree to her without being answerable to anyone" After what felt like long while grandpa Lee finally parted his lips only to spat out these cold words.

Jennie's father pressed the space between his brows as he finally got the reason for his father's cold countenance.

"Father, I know she is your granddaughter and please don't be like this. I'm here for some serious matter" Jennie's father was already so frustrated with yesterday's event that he doesn't have any capacity to handle his father's tantrums.

"What's that matter" Grandpa Lee said after a while as he understood his son is really in very foul mood.

"Why did you agree even though you knew what's going on and what had happened in the past" His son asked him.

Grandpa Lee heaved a long sigh before he replied.

"V asked me" he finally said it.

"huh!?" Jennie's father was confused hearing this sentence.

"What do you mean, Father"

Grandpa Lee again heaved one long and deep sigh before he parted his lips to answer his question.

"That day when V came over to our house for dinner, he asked me to let Jennie move out if she ask as she will be working not anywhere else but in his care only"

Hearing this piece of news, Jennie's father was so shocked that he couldn't say anything for two minutes.

Jennie's father tried to get hold of his emotions after struggling for a bit and looked straight into his Father's eyes.

"Dad, and you really agreed to his absurd so called request just like that!!!!?? " he still couldn't get hold of his emotions as this matter concern his dear daughter.

Grandpa lee heaved a long deep sigh before he opened his mouth to answer his question.

"No, I did check it first before agreeing to her request...actually I went to the company for this purpose only. I know that jennie won't be able to talk to you or me in our house so I planned to take her to company and see if she will ask me about it and she did" Grandpa lee said as he looked at his son who is hell worried for her daughter.

"But still dad you are trusting her safety in the hands of some stranger who we don't even know fully yet" Jennie's father still couldn't be relaxed.

"I'm not fully trusting her safety in his hands and what do you take me for.... huh.... you think I'll just hand over my grand-daughter just like that?" Grandpa lee asked his on now in somewhat raised tone.

"So what did you found out?" Jennie's father asked as he looked at his father with knitted brows.

"huhhh..... "Grandfather lee first heaved a long sigh before he directed his gaze at his son.

" V and Jennie, they both met before the party to which jennie accompanied me" Grandpa lee revealed to see the shocked expression on his son's face.

"If that was not their first meet... so where did they first met, dad??" Jennie's father asked as he couldn't think of a place where they would have interacted.

"At the airport" grandpa lee answered.

"at the airport...?"Jennie's father repeated after him in daze.

" hmm.... when they landed here they both were boarding the same airplane. that was there they first met.... and from the looks of it V took liking towards our Jennie from that day onwards" As soon as grandpa lee finished listing out his assumption he felt as the temperature of the room in there were currently sitting at has been turned into one of that arctic ocean.

"I know that's not acceptable so no need for that cold glare of yours..... I also at first wasn't any better when I came to this deduction but then I can't reject him outrightly as he made this request really politely and I have checked all the things it isn't any dangerous so just relax and be on look out for your daughter instead of controlling her" Grandpa lee said.

Jennie's father heaved a long sigh before he glanced at his father and parted his lips to voice out his last worry.

"If you say so but dad please don't allow her to move out, she can do up and down daily but she can't move out of here" Jennie's father said while looking at his father.

" For that I have already allowed her and I'll be taking care of her staying myself but if you wanna to talk her out of it, you can try but I'll suggest that you don't..... let her do what she wants to, you know it's been so many years and she still can't get over her.... she wants answers and it's time that she have now." Grandpa lee tried to talk some reason into him.

Hearing his father give him this long explanation how could he refute him now, so he heaved a long and deep sigh before he nodded to him and left after discussing some company matters with him.

Both father and son left the study almost after an hour from where Jennie's father left the house for office and grandpa went to sit in the living room which is very lively nowadays due to the presence of some little soul.
