Two Families, The Lee Family and The Kim Family, both one of the most powerful and dangerous mafia families in the entire continent, were kins. Their bond was considered to be unbreakable, they supported each other which was surprising for other organisation in this particular world, as in this world there is no place for feelings and relations, it only involves the illegal shady dealings, with profits, devoid of any sentiments, this world only demands code of respect, integrity and loyalty but these two families were not only bound by this but also by love and respect for each other.
The Lee family's eldest, Mr. Lee Ha-Yoon, was friends with the Kim Family's eldest,Mr. Kim won-shik, they became friends due to their family relations but their bond got stronger as days went by, not only they were childhood friend's but there sons too,Lee Sang-hoon and Kim Hye,their decades long friendship came to end an tragic end when Kim Hye's daughter, Kim hyun, attempted a suicide due to the betrayal by the Lee Sang-hoon's son, Lee Seo-yun.
Both families decided to arrange a marriage for Lee Seo-yun and Kim hyun,not only because they wanted theirs years long fellowship turn into family relationship but also because the two kids also liked each other, specially the girl from the Kim family, Kim hyun, she really loved the guy from Lee family and Lee Seo-yun didn't denied it also so both the families prepared a stupendous marriage for the two, both families were really ecstatic because they finally turned their decades long friendship to family relationship but were unsure that it will deliver not happiness but a tragic end to their comradeship.
Aside from the elders from both the families and the newly wedded couple, the most happy person was Lee Ha-neul ,Lee family's youngest daughter, who was very cheerful and lovely girl, but being the youngest and from the mafia family she didn't get love and affection she always desired for but when she got to meet her new family member, her sis-in-law, Kim hyun, she was most ecstatic of all people from her family it was because she got the campanion she longed for all this time.
Kim hyun and Ha-neul developed a really sweet relationship in very short time. they were not like sis-in-laws at all, they developed a bond which was more pure and deep than blood relations,they both got so close that they both even share there secrets which they've not shared with anyone else.
One day, when they were both spending quality time in the mansion's gazebo, Ha-neul said something which made Kim hyun really happy and emotional.
"Unni, God has given me a one and only best gift in my life so far, do you know what's that?? " Ha-neul asked.
Kim hyun thought for a moment before she shook her head and Ha-neul continued.
"Unnie, The best gift that God has given me is.... " she paused as she looked at Kim hyun eyes with her brightening ones. "is YOU... having u as a Unnie is the best thing that has God given to me..... I feel really content and placate when you are with me" she continued.
Hearing her words, Kim hyun's eyes turned watery, she became emotional hearing this 14 years old girl saying these emotional words. she didn't really replied and the girl in front of her continued.
"Unni,you will always stay by my side, right" she looked at Kim hyun as if she was afraid that she will lose the only person whom she loves.
Kim hyun didn't replied she just moved and embraced the little girl tightly before speaking "Yup, I will always be with u..... how can I live without,my little fairy.... huh" she said before she pulled away and kissed the girl's forehead. she then looked at her.
"You are my little white fairy, Jennie".Kim hyun said and then looked at the girl in her arms.
" Jennie!??..... "she mumbled.
" hmm.. jennie, my little white and capitulate fairy, one who no one can resist". Kim hyun said and the girl in her arms smiled before she lovingly pecked on Kim hyun cheek. From that day onwards Ha-neul always introduced herself as Jennie, as this name is given to her by her loving unnie.
The months went by very quickly and eveything was going really well and everyone was very happy. Jennie was about to turn 15 in next few weeks so both Kim hyun and Jennie were really ecstatic for it. They were so happy that they even started to prepare for the little fairy's birthday.
But when Jennie's birthday was just two weeks away, her grandpa made a decision ,to send her to abroad to continue her study there, surprising everyone. He didn't even waited for the birthday celebration to over and booked her flight to country A overnight just giving her two days to accept everything.
Jennie was really devastated and so was Kim hyun, they didn't understand the reason why their grandpa is so desperate to send her away even before her birthday celebration. But they couldn't even do anything other than crying and accepting this cruel decision.
The next day, the day before her flight Jennie went to meet her best friend and cousin Lisa,Park Ae-Ri, to tell her about her going abroad and asking her if she could tell this news to jisoo and Rose. Both friends spent the day together by spending some quality time and crying in each other embraces telling each other they would miss each other.
Three hours before her flight Jennie returned home and Kim hyun accompanied her to airport, consoled her, telling her they could always call when they would miss each other. but Jennie just couldn't accept this and cried really hard, until her time to fetch her flight finally arrived.
She one last time hugged her unnie and finally entered the airport entrance. seeing her leaving, Kim hyun finally broke down into tears which she had tried her best to control until now, she cried until she finally calm down and finally entered the car to return home.
