Chapter 19 Night Raids and Operation

Walking back into the Mansion, I see Marlene woke up.

"Just in time, Come here Marlene. We are going to visit Uncle Sephiroth and big brother Cloud and Zack." I said and she run at me with a smile.

"Really? Will they play with me?" she asked.

"Of course, they like you after all." I said with a smile and she giggles.

"Hihihi, I want to ride 'broom broom'!" she said wanting to ride a bike with them.

"Then let's asks them later." I said with a smile as I walk through the portal door to Arcadia.

Inside the Arcadia, we walk to one of the hatches and open it before we flew out. Arcadia now hovered over Junon so we can easily meet with the Night Raids group. Mom also spends most of her time in Arcadia so she can talk with Sephiroth more to make up for the lost time.

Landing on the Mako Cannon, I start to walk toward where I can feel the others gathered now. Every now and then, I meet a personnel who work for Night Raids who just bow to me in respect. Arriving at the place, I open the door and greet them.

"Yo, what happened here? Making all of you to gathered in the same place?" I asked as I walk in.

"Luke, you are here?" said Zack.

"Zack, you go play with Marlene!" said Sephiroth not wanting her to stay to hear our conversation and Zack just shrugged before taking Marlene to play.

"Kay, it was boring here anyway," he said before leaving with Marlene.

"So, you got your visitor?" I asked and they nodded.

"You too?" asked Cloud and I nodded.

"So, what happens?"

"Sephiroth killed him," answer Angeal.

"Like I thought. He is the type you despise after all. Thought if the one who visits is the one that visits mine, you will be interested." I said.

"Hooo?" was the only reaction from Sephiroth.

"Yeah, she fought you once here, after all. Though lose, she was able to give you quite a fight." I said and he smiles.

"I think I remember that," he said. "Her name is Elfe if I am not wrong?"

"Yeah, though that power is eating her life. I was thinking of curing her. It's a waste to let someone like her die after all." I said and he nodded.

"I think Shinra is about to make a move. They have finished with their preparation since a month ago." I told them and they nodded.

"What do you think their first move will be?" asked Angeal.

"Burying me along with Sector Seventh. I plant quite a few bugs in their place, so I know." I answer.

"But, that will kill many people!" shouted Angeal.

"You think they care?" I asked and he was silenced.

"You got a plan for this?" asked Genesis who stayed silent all this time.

"Of course, not only this will make me a hero. I also can discredit Shinra so they lose the trust from the citizen and we Night Raids will be able to act at the side of Justice." I said earning a nod from Angeal.

"Just make sure there won't be too many casualties in the civilian." he said.

"You can leave it to me!" I answers.

After playing for a few hours at Junon with Zack and Cloud, Marlene was tired and goes to sleep again so I brought her back to Sector Seventh and tuck her in until Barret comes to bring her back home.

Three days later, I got another visitation from Elfe.

"You are back again and your body is worsening up." I said.

"Yeah, please if you got a solution. Please heal me, I don't have the money to pay you thought. So, I can only use my body and work for you until it was payed for." she answers.

"Hmm, how about a counter proposal. Since Fuhito died in the hand of Sephiroth. You must now become an absolute leader of Avalanche. Join Night Raids and become it's subordinate group. God knows the war is about to start now and we need all the numbers we can get." I said and she thinks for a while.

"Okay, this way we have stronger force to oppose Shinra after all." she answers.

"Good, come back tomorrow. Got to prepare for your surgery!" I said and she left the mansion while I got to search for the material to get back her Loss lifespan.

Then come to the problem of the Materia on her hand. Since if it was left behind, it will not be long before she loses her lifespan again. I can remove it easily but it's a waste of she becomes weak after this.

Should I do something about her mana? Making it large that the Materia did net need to take her life energy anymore to sustain itself or give her a Cetra cell so she can harness the energy from the Lifestreams? Okay, let's do that! It's not bad to have more Cetra in this world.

The next day, Elfe comes at noon and I brought her to Arcadia to start the procedure.

"Where is this place? I can feel we are not in your Mansion anymore," said Elfe confused.

"You got a good perception. Yes, we are not in the mansion anymore. Right now, we are inside my spaceships that's been park over Junon." I answer her as we walk along the corridor.

"Luke! Is this the girl that will be operated on today?" asked mom as she walks out of her lab.

"Yeah, one of the victims of Hojo," I said and she looks at her with sympathy as she is also one of his victims.

"Hojo? Isn't that the Shinra scientists that died years ago? What did he get anything to do with me?" she asked.

"Hmm, right, you've amnesia so you don't know. You see, you are one of a person experimented on by Hojo when he is still alive. You are deemed failure and was about to be disposed of by himand you know what happened next." I answer her as we walk into my lab.

"Go laid over there!" I told her pointing at the bed in my lab.

"You know so much about me that even I don't know about it myself. How, did you come to find this information?" she said as she laid on the bed.

"Heh, just get it when I dig on many of Shinra's dirty deeds. Anyway, we are starting and you are going to be sleeping for a while. Are you ready?" I asked.

"Mnn, go ahead!" she answers and I nodded before injecting a sleeping agent on her.

"Now, let's raise her lifespan back to normal. I never tried it but Yamato's life steals power that I wish for can be used on others. Let's try it!" I said as I took out Yamato and try to feel the life energy inside it that I've never used ever since I hold it since I never got myself injured ever since I come to this world and my life span is still long as a Demon, Cetra, and Jenova. Mom is the same and so is Ifalna though I should use it on Claudia and Rena any of these days.

"Hmm, that is a lot of it I got. Around a hundred thousand years of lifespan. Well, I kill a lot of people and monsters all these years. Now, what about the conversion rate?" I mumble to myself as I communicate with Yamato.

"I see I see, ten years of life energy can be converted into one year of lifespan. Not bad but also not a good conversion. Now, she needs around sixty amount of lifespan to be back to normal. But, let's give her a hundred!" I said and channel the life energy to her.

I look at a monitor that observed her health and it was looking good.

"Now, this materia! Let's do it like in the plot and combine it with a few support materia like HP and MP up along with MP Booster." I said and take out the materia and start to combine it. After two hours of work it was finished.

"Fiuh, unlike in-game where Fuhito combines it recklessly. Combining it with her health in mind is exhausting and I was a Cetra who can harness lifestream to create Materia." I said to myself.

"Okay, let's finish this and take a break after! Now, for the last steps and also the easiest is to give her Cetra bloodline using cell manipulation." I said then change my finger into a stinger and stab her with it before starting to modify her gene into a Cetra one.

Finish with the operation, I take a sit on my chair and wait for her to wake up. I take a bottle of water and drink it.

"Whoo, that was mentally exhausting." I said.

"I am sure it is!" said mom as she walk into the lab.

"You watching, mom?" I asked.

"Yeah, since you start combining that Materia. It sure is easy as a Cetra to do it." she said obviously.

"I can make you into a Cetra if you want mom. I just do it too her after all. It's not bad to have more Cetra in our dying world." I told her.

"I will take you on that offer then." she said. "Now, let me massage you to blow away your exhaustion." she continue.

"Yeah, thanks mom." I said while closing my eyes.
