The Unexpected Encounter

International Airport.

At the entrance of the departure hall. Zhuang Chengran stood one step away from the girl in front him, he look at her face for a little while. Before he left he wanted to always remembered this delicate, soft and beautiful face.

The pair of his dark eyes filled with tenderness only for this girl; Zhao Yi.

They were childhood friends, he always treat her like his own sister but over the years his feelings started to changed into affection. He had loves her but he was afraid to confessed his feelings to her, afraid it might affected their friendship, afraid to make her uncomfortable so since then he just showed his love through his actions.

Even so he always had this thought to which marrying her in the future but for now he couldn't do so because he was trapped in his family rules where he was unable to fight against them. So to protect her, Zhuang Chengran decided to agreed with his family decision and went away from the country also her.

But Zhuang Chengran didn't know this was a part of his family plans. He wasn't that powerful either so he could only followed what they want.

Although it was made him suffering but for his Zhao Yi he would do anything even though he sacrificed his own happiness. Because he haven't had enough power to control his grandfather's people so he was forced to step away and could only obey his family words.

For this decision too, he needs to married with the woman that his family had chosen for him. Zhuang Chengran was never felt desperate in his life but to protect the woman he loved he need to do so.

He couldn't bring himself to tell her the truth so he just lied to her that he was going abroad to expand his family business after all he was the next heir of the Zhuang Group.

Zhuang Chengran fist tightened as he forced himself to stay calm but he promised to himself that once he got the whole power to control the Zhuangs he would broke his marriage with that so called fiancée and coming back to married this woman instead.

But little did Zhuang Chengran aware in this life even if he got ahold of the entire Zhuang group and divorced later. His fated was already determined that he could never be with Zhao Yi even if he went against his family in the future.

Actually there was something that Elder Zhuang hadn't tell him yet about what had happened to the Zhao family back then so to make him left Zhao Yi, Elder Zhuang put a very strict rules over him and left him with no choice.

So for this plan Elder Zhuang set a married for his only grandson and sent him abroad.

At this moment, Zhuang Chengran was still smiling gently. For the first time ever he felt the pain in his heart because he going to left this girl for their own happiness in the future.

But of course Zhuang Chengran never thought such an imagination would never happen, he was still unaware that this decision was actually the best for them even though he felt regret for them but once he know the truth in the future he know he couldn't be together with her either.

Zhuang Chengran put his hands onto the girl shoulders as he slowly spoke. "Zhao Yi, before I left I wanted to hear this from you and promise me something... can you?"

Zhao Yi who only stood there and looking at this man suddenly felt nervous once she heard his word but she still nodded her head gently.

Staring at him like this she couldn't help but her heartbeat was slightly pounding.

Zhuang Chengran then took a deep breath before he continued speaking. "Actually I was always wanted to ask you this but I was afraid to hear your answer so now I won't. Zhao Yi, do you like me?"

Such a smooth question made Zhao Yi unable to react, her so called calm expression instantly turned red.

She couldn't bring herself to say it in words so she just nodded her head in response.

Seeing the girl small gesture. Zhuang Chengran was really very satisfied. He really didn't put too much hope whether Zhao Yi liked him or not but once he saw her soft face he know what the girl feels for him all this times.

As long as she had such a feelings, Zhuang Chengran was not afraid even if he decided to leave her at this moment because he fully confident that he already occupied the girl heart.

But of course he was just thinking too highly of himself.

Because never once he imagined that there would be a man who was more great, understanding, more suitable and more powerful than him to protect this girl without any difficulty.

Thinking of their future, he then stepped ahead and slightly pulled the girl into his warm embrace, he hugged her tightly because Zhao Yi was never got such an affection actions from this man so she was totally confused and stunned.

He didn't dare to kiss her so he just smelled the soft yet natural scent from the girl's hair. He carefully choose his words while telling her. "Zhao Yi, no matter what happen in the future please always remember that I will always be there for you. Remember this embrace will always be yours only. Also whatever you heard about me please don't fell for it unless I told you myself. So don't ever doubt me. Okay?"

Zhao Yi loosened his grip and looked into his deep eyes for a while because she was slightly unprepared with his actions earlier, she didn't know where to put her hands so her hands was remained on the same position without moving.

Although she was felt weird with his sudden remark Zhao Yi still said this because they were childhood friends so she never doubt his words nor his actions.

She didn't know when she started liked him because ever since child she always treat this man just like her older brother so everything he did to her always made her happy.

So she liked him because he was taking care of her really good despite his family being indifferent towards her but both of them still contact each other until they turned adult.

"Brother Cheng, I've known you since we were little so of course I always believe in you so you don't have to worry about such a things. As long as you trust me then I will trust you too. So rest assured. But speaking of this so sudden, are you hiding something for me?" Zhao Yi instinct was never went wrong when she guessed about something so just now hearing Zhuang Chengran's sentence making her slightly uncomfortable.

For some unknown reason Zhao Yi could felt Zhuang Chengran emotional this time was quite odd but she couldn't tell what it was.

The time slowly passed but the man remain being silence, realizing this Zhao Yi also didn't force him but she really hope there was no secret between them.

What Zhao Yi hated the most was someone telling lies and keep her in the dark without saying the truth.

Even if that person was Zhuang Chengran; the one she had known from childhood, once she was deceived, forever she felt that way.

Zhao Yi never doubted him but at this moment she couldn't tell what she really feel.

She just hopes this man forever being true.

Before the two parted, Zhuang Chengran looked at her for a little longer before he blurted out. "Zhao Yi, take care and wait for me!"

"Sure." With a smile that showed her sweet dimples Zhao Yi waved at him.

The two of them did not know that it was the last interaction they would had and Zhuang Chengran would never expect when he come back in the future the girl way of talking especially her attitude was already changed.

Zhao Yi didn't want to think about Zhuang Chengran such a rare actions and just she was prepared to left the airport hall area, a four to fifth men in black suit who was looked like a professional bodyguards lined up just few meter away from her as they stood in either side and respectfully making a way for someone in the middle who was currently walking like untouchable king.

The already crowd airport turned more crowded when another group of girls appeared out of nowhere, they were screaming like crazy fans.

One girl from the group yelled excitedly. "Oh my god! Finally, this day has come, I saw him. Ah! He's becoming more handsome. I'm weak. This is too much for my heart!"

Another one shouted as well. "Baby Yang, our national husband we all loved you, you looks so charming my baby."

Followed by another girl, she also said. "Yang Chen you're my weakness ever since. How could you looked so good in real life. This is totally against the rules!"

The group of girls started praised him one after another:

"Isn't he entered twenty-seven this year wow he doesn't age at all"

"Mr Yang, I wanted to bear your child"

"You're the reason our day becoming more bright and brighter"

"Ahh baby Yang. . . please be mine instead"

In the middle of this chaos, Zhao Yi who was walked peacefully end up was pushing towards the crowded, she was a bit annoyed and wanted to walk away but those girls made her difficult to do so.

Zhao Yi herself was an actress so today she was in disguised by wearing a black hoodie paired with denim jeans, a black cap and she covered her lower face with a mask.

Amongst this group of girls she was the most tall one even though she was not a weak girl but no matter how she wanted to stay still with such an unexpected bumped she was slightly lose her balance.

Because the knocked was too hard Zhao Yi was force to be pushed in front of the man earlier yet before she could even reacted and was ready to prepared for the worse.

Zhao Yi braced herself as her eyes closed but all of sudden a pair of his strong arms supporting her for falling into the ground.

Seeing this situations, all of the girls stopped moving and looked toward Zhao Yi and Yang Chen direction and Zhao Yi which eyes still closed suddenly felt something not right with her surroundings.

When she opened her eyes, Zhao Yi expression went blank. In front of her was a cold but handsome man, the two of them stay in such close position where the man put his arms around the girl waist meanwhile the girl put her palm onto the man chest.

Zhao Yi cap just fell onto the floor so her long hair was slightly fall behind but her mask was still covered her lower face.

Realizing how close they were Zhao Yi eyes moving as she just looked at the beautiful shape of his thin lips, those dazzling eyes and those thick eyebrows she could tell this man figure was way too extraordinary — His face were so close to her that she could see how clean his face was except his soft stubble which could hardly to be seen.

In the Entertainment industry, Zhao Yi has seen so many handsome actor, each one of them had their own charms and she already used to see those good looking men. Yet, even if she put Zhuang Chengran before this man she already know who was going to won.

Zhao Yi rarely praise a men looks but this time she couldn't help but admit such a fact.

Darn! This man. How come there's could be a man who was both beauty and handsome. Aren't those man only existed on novels but the person in front of her was a real living human.

While Zhao Yi lost in her own thought. The man in front of her also had similar thought like her.

Yang Chen was admiring her beautiful brown eyes even though he couldn't see her face but from her eyes alone he could tell she was a rarely beautiful girl; Too beautiful he thought.

The girl skin was soft and white, almost has the same color like him but her skin was probably a little sensitive because he saw a few red mark on the girl hand just now.

They just stood there until a familiar voice interrupted them and that person was Yang Chen assistant, Duyi. He told him politely, "Sir, your grandparents wanted to see you first. Shall we go?"

Yang Chen dark eyes move as he reply expressionless. "Alright!"

After said so he then releasing her, the man put his hands back to his trouser pocket.

He watched the girl's expression who was still looked a little lost but adorably staring at him. Yang Chen himself was slightly surprised with his own actions but when he realized how this girl was struggling to leave this crowded place, he had an amusing smile pestered on his face which he didn't show it too obvious.

He was unbothered when that group of girls suddenly appeared there but weirdly he couldn't ignore this girl especially when he saw how she was knocked and almost fell onto the floor, seeing that he didn't think twice but helped her right away.

Yang Chen glance sideaway towards Duyi, from his silence gesture Duyi already know what punishment he would get later yet he still accept it without complaint.

Reason why he didn't like appeared on public because he don't like being the attention of these group of girls. And what he hated the most was where they screaming his name as if like he was a popular male artist in the worldwide.

Yang Chen oddly thought why would he had so many fans where he himself not a celebrity at all. But the most annoying part was how come they know his whereabouts this time.

Even if Yang Chen avoid such a media but the fact could never be erased from those girls because in the past year Yang Chen name has already been popular in the public only was he didn't bothered to think about that.

Yang Chen also didn't know he got such a title as 'national husband' even though the real fact was until today this legendary and great CEO Yang was still a single man and there was zero rumor about him date a woman.

But only a rumors state he rejected women no matter how status they held or even if they bet on their beautiful face this man never taking interest.

Yang Chen picked the cap and stretched out a hand towards her while asked, "Are you alright?"

This time hearing his deep voice, Zhao Yi snapped and suddenly realized her dumbfounded actions just now.

Although she was a little embarrassed but she hurriedly replied. "Yes no worries. I'm totally fine."

Hearing her, Yang Chen didn't say anything but only nodded and before Zhao Yi could even thank him properly the man's was already walked ahead without waiting for her to spoke.

Zhao Yi only watched as his cold figure disappearing from her sight. She shrugged gently but recalled the way those bodyguards protect him which making her awe.

She can't help but pondering for a while as she try to remember which actor had this big fans in the industry but as far as she remembered she never saw this man before no matter how deep she thought but that name was really familiar.

After the man left those girls nowhere to be seen and Zhao Yi also couldn't be bothered to stay any longer and drove away from the airport.
