Loving The Forbidden

"Would you love him, if he took away all that which reminded you of the living?" "I don't know." "You should because when the devil loves you, he keeps you caged from seeing the possibilities of being without him. Even if it means killing all those that you care about," she murmured into my ear. I was sure that she could hear my heart drumming loudly in my heart and the growing smirk on her face proved me right. The sound of the door being opened abruptly was heard and we both turned to find him come in. Talk about the devil and he will appear. Chapter Forty_Nine: Learning Aura

"Learn to listen, learn to take everything in and guide it with your thoughts. Not with your actions, not with your fingers. You don't want the opposition to see what you are doing or to incriminate yourself.

Also never show with your eyes what you are doing or who you dislike otherwise you will be the first to be blamed or pointed at. You want to be neutral, to be seen as one who can't do anything.

Let them see you as the weak link, let them see you as the prey and not as the predator", he advised as they stood before the tree cups, he had placed them further away from them. Each having more than an arms-length of space.

"Why do I want them to see me as weak? Why would I want them to underestimate me? Rather than letting them see my strength so they know not to mess with me, rather than come after me. Wouldn't scaring them be much better than welcoming them into my basket of trust or bubble?" she questioned,

"No you want them close, that way it's easier to read them and for you to learn more on how to judge one's character easily. I think in your beliefs, one of your faiths has a God or a son of a God, who shows everything to twelve people and soon, one betrays but he knows its coming.

It's like you are trying to make them comfortable, trying to get them to take down their walls and their suspicions, as a Queen you want them to think that you are kind, generous, and gentle. You want them to think that you are simply a human, a human with no power.

With no ability-"

"But I am just a human, I have no power or ability. I bleed and get cut easily. It doesn't take much to make my body's temperature go up and down. My body is weak in your realm and you know it so why even bother to try it?" she questioned, feeling slightly irritated,

"Because soon as your body begins to adapt and change, your personal power will come and it will be different but it will only come when you choose to sacrifice and you accept your fate. Not with defeat but with conviction and understanding. Each power comes and goes, yet when they settle in the palm or hearts of certain vessels, it is your baby to tend to every day.

But before that can happen, you must look into yourself and question everything. Before you judge me, your King and soon-to-be husband, the people around you, and more. You must judge and give the verdict to yourself.

Are you worthy of anything and are you completely free mentally?" he asked, as he tapped on her forehead and suddenly, the three cups before her began to grow and conform into live-sized people.

Each different, a woman, a man, and a child. All staring at her with different colored eyes and different marks. Each different and special being. She knew that these were different creatures and she wanted to know more. Who were they? What were they capable of? And who was more powerful?

"Exactly, you didn't even bother to judge them on their size or on which gender or age they were. Your thoughts laid in their capabilities. You wanted to see more and those types of questions that you asked, were questions that one needs to ask when it comes to a person's aura", he said

"How does one read a person's aura?" she questioned, as she focused on them but listened to his words and his movement around her. Trying to focus but not lose the plot of the lesson. She knew that for her survival she needed to be able to learn everything and not become a fool in this game.

Maybe for once, there would be a female con woman in this story.

"Dark shadows spread around them and sometimes within them, every evil thought, idea, and feeling causes a shadow. One will be good at hiding while another will not and sometimes one who seems to have no shadow, is one that you need to be on the lookout for or not" he shrugged.

"How come?" she asked, slightly confused at the statement,

"Because sometimes the one without a shadow, whether good or bad, is a person that either had no impure thoughts, is good at hiding their thoughts or will one day have dark thoughts that will overshadow everything. Depending of course how their life pans out as not every life is the same", he said,

"That is difficult", she commented as she looked at the three people in front of her,

"Isn't life? One day we are the victors the next we aren't, life moves without any orders and if there are orders, someone is trying to fuck us all up, don't you think?" he joked, giving out a slightly dark chuckle as she felt him come to stand behind her.

"Who has more darkness Aria, think and think fast", he stated, whispering into her ears.
