Before rejection (2)

After getting transfer papers, within a week she left for abroad. Her mom cried again as her only daughter was leaving. She hugged her father and elder brother, Issac.

"If you have any problem call me, okay." Her brother said.

"Sure" She replied.

"Bye everyone, take care" She waved.

"Call me when you reach their okay, Eat three times a day okay, don't forget to eat fruits, call me every day" Her mom shouted from behind.

She sighed, her mom is really getting emotional.

"Cool, sure," She said smiling.

She showed her passport and tickets to the police on the gate and entered the airport. That is how she left 2 years before.

In these 2 years, she studied hard. the course that needed 2 years more to finish, she completed it within 6 months. After graduating, she started working as a branch manager in the branch company of her family in the same country.

Her family is really rich, can say richest in country N. She never had and will never have any problem with money for sure. Since childhood, she had everything money, loving parents, doting brothers and even thought that she had him. Maybe because of 'I can get everything, anything' mentality that she was sure he will be hers but she was wrong. Why she didn't fight back or did evil things to his girlfriend like in every novel where rich fiance scheme for her fiancee's lover?? Simple, she knows that she will never succeed and she knows his love for her is immeasurable, by doing schemes it will not only hurt his girlfriend but also hurt him and herself. so, why risking all three lives. Plus, she has never been arrogant and bullied others just because they are low status than her. She knew that it's nature, nobody wants to born poor, it just depends on their luck, like hers.

Furthermore, her parents never taught her to be arrogant, greedy and bully others just because they have more money and power than others. They always taught her to be kind and compassion which she had leat of.

First six months since arrival, she remained depressed, always believing that one day she will be able to move on or he will come looking for her. She became insomniac, sometimes was unable to sleep for even 3 days. Her brother was shocked seeing her condition when he came to visit her at her graduation. Her eyes were red and swollen with dark circles around it. She looked like a walking zombie, not even doing makeup to hide those eye bags.

Immediately after graduation, her brother took her to his friend, Mike. Mike is a psychiatrist. He was a reliable man and an amazing doctor.

She started getting treatment under him. Lisa made her brother promise to her not to tell their parents about her condition. Slowly, her condition started getting a little better. Started eating at least 3 times a meal, taking sleeping pills, started talking to people around her, though not much like before.

Since the last one and a half years, she was following the same routine.

Get up at 6 am, eat breakfast, 8 am- go to work, 8 pm- return from work and eat dinner, eat medicine and sleep.

But one day, she accidentally read her high school group chat message, which she never used to read. She came to know that Robb and his GF broke up. For the first time in 2 years she smiled, she slept that day full 10 hrs even after forgetting to take her sleeping medicine.

She woke up at 7 am and walked to the bathroom. She was shocked looking at herself in the mirror. She was smiling. Smiling like a mad person. In a corner of her heart, she was also feeling guilt. The guilt of smiling at other people's bad fortune. She let go of that feeling. She called her psychiatrist, Mike and told him everything and what she is planning to do in future.

"well, I'm happy for you, Lisa. But.."

"But what doctor.??."

"Lisa, if he rejects you, I believe you will not be able to cope with that. In certain circumstances, it might be even more difficult for you to come out from the state than before. Plus I won't be there for you and you know you don't have friends to help you there. It would have been a different matter if your parents knew about it... "

After hanging up, she booked a plane ticket to country N of the next day. She packed her stuff smiling, 'I can't let go of this chance. I will surely make you mine.' She thought

Next day, she sat on the seat inside the plane. When the plane was about to take off, she murmured, "I'm coming, Robb, country N and mom, dad"
