"Let's go, Leah. We should let sister-in-law get some rest," Victoria said. She grabbed Leah and whisked her away.

"Stay where you are," Ronald shouted and glared at them, with his face devoid of emotion. His pitch black eyes and silent demeanor made him appear more intimidating than he already was. "What were those reporters doing at the mall?" he questioned.

He'd scanned the surveillance footage and noticed that all the reporters hailed from different networks, and yet showed up at the mall at the same time, as if they had been tipped off beforehand. Emily was certainly no bigshot worthy of being tailed by paparazzi, so it felt oddly coincidental, even if she'd made headlines two days prior.

Victoria and Leah flinched.

Victoria forced a smile and reassured him, "I don't know what to tell you as your aunt. You know how paparazzi are like. They're like cockroaches, lurking at every nook and cranny. I'm sure it's all just a big coincidence,"
