Getting drunk
1am, Skyway Medical Center
Feng Yan and Chen-xi arrived at the hospital VIP suite after learning Master Feng, Feng Yan's grandfather was admitted to the hospital.
"Your grandfather's condition has stabilized, however we will monitor him for the next few days before he can discharge." The doctor informed Feng Yan, who came to visit.
"Yan, why did you come? I told Chen-xi I was fine..just some old ailment. You must be busy..." Master Feng coughed lightly but was glad to see his grandson.
"Grandpa, don't worry about me. I wanted to make sure you are ok, so I came to witness myself. " Feng Yan held his wrinkly hands warmly.
"Yan..Grandpa is old, i can't live for long..i know you already broke up with your ex girlfriend..My grandson deserves someone better, i am sure you will find someone you love and marry.." Master Feng spoke weakly
"Grandpa..don't speak nonsense. You will live another 10, 20 years. Don't worry about me now, you should rest." Feng Yan gently patted his hands before leaving the ward.
Feng Yan made his way out of the hospital where he saw a couple quarreling at the entrance of the hospital. He briefly overheard their conversation as he passed by them.
"Zhou Yang! how can you come back to Liu Yi Han and ditch me aside in the middle of the night!?" Lan Xin was pulling Zhou Yang's hands, not allowing him to visit Yi Han at the hospital.
"Lan Xin, be good. I promise I will be back at your side tomorrow night, go home and wait for me alright." Zhou Yang was embarrassed, he tried to tame her and look for Yi Han.
Lan Xin was furious, thinking that her plan succeeded, letting Yi Han hear them would stop her from getting married to Zhou Yang.
"Liu Yi Han...don't be too happy, your happiness won't last till your wedding day!" Lan Xin cursed under her breath as she watched Zhou Yang leaves.

"Yi Han! Are you ok? Are you injured anywhere? I'm worried sick about you when I received the call from the hospital!" Zhou Yang ran towards Yi Han after seeing her sitting alone outside the observation area.
Yi Han who was still in disbelief of his betrayal, gave his number to the nurse to call. She wanted to see if Zhou Yang would come over to see her. Yi Han's eyes were reddening, how could Zhou Yang betray her like this, just a month before their wedding.
"Yi Han? Why are you crying? Are you in pain?" Zhou Yang was taken aback, as he rarely saw her crying despite the fact that she's a strong, independent woman.
"I...i'm fine..just a little scared of what happened.." Yi Han mumbled, refusing to spill the truth of what she heard or knew about his affair. Just when Zhou Yang tried to pull her into his embrace to hug her, Yi Han could smell the woman's fragrance tainted onto him.
The scent of betrayal. How dare he appear in front of her after the dirty deeds with another woman's scent on him.
Yi Han clenched her fists with an aching heart, she wants revenge. She wanted him to feel the pain, to feel what she was going through at that moment. Her tears rolled down uncontrollably, the man whom she spent 10 years of her life with, the one she never expect would hurt her, is actually the one that hurt her the most.
"Zhou Yang. I, Liu Yi Han will never ever forgive you.." Yi Han thought to herself with her eyes reddened and tears welled up in her eyes.

3 days later, Vows Bridal Boutique
It was the day to try on her wedding dress, Yi Han scanned through a number of beautiful white dresses, her heart sank, knowing that everything she's doing now is just an act. Feeling heartbroken, hurt but she still picks out a few dresses hung in front of her.
Standing in front of the large ceiling-to-floor mirror, Yi Han chose a revealing deep v-line dress, a provocative dress baring her shoulders and her back. Showing her soft, smooth, cool toned skin and slightly showing her cleavage.
Zhou Yang gulped with his eyes widened in disbelief that Yi Han could look so good, like a goddess of every man's dream.
It was like an instant regret look on his face, never knew that Yi Han looked better than so much other women, including his mistress, Lan Xin.
Yi Han saw his reaction and was satisfied that he was affected. "You look gorgeous, Yi Han. I think this is perfect for you." Zhou Yang claimed, obviously he just had dirty thoughts after seeing Yi Han's flawless skin.
"I think this is a little too provocative..I'll want something with more respect." Yi Han requested the staff to change her dress. It was a subtle hint to Zhou Yang.
It wasn't long until Yi Han's phone rang, it was her best friend, Shan Qi.
"Yi Han! Where are you? I'm so bored, it's Saturday. Do you want to hang out tonight?" Shan Qi asked.
"I'm trying on my wedding dress now, but I will be free later. Alright, i'll see you tonight." Yi Han replied, without hesitation.
"You're meeting your friend tonight?" Zhou Yang, who was puzzled, wondered why Yi Han was not spending the weekend with him.
"Sorry Zhou Yang, Shan Qi is feeling down and wants me to accompany her tonight. You wouldn't mind right? Besides we have all the time in the world together after we get married, right?" Yi Han found an excuse, who would want to spend any more time with this disgusting cheater?
She knew Zhou Yang would eventually look for the other woman he was cheating on with. She couldn't even bring herself to have a meal with this guy.

9pm, The Hex Bar
Yi Han arrived at the bar to meet Shan Qi. Yi Han was all dressed up with her hair down, in a mini skirt and black turtleneck. She's usually in her blazer suit and hair tied up due to the office culture.
Shan Qi was sitting at the bar table where she waved to Yi Han as she made her way over, she briefly passed by a man in a suit, where the man stopped his footsteps and turned to take a casual glance.
The man was Feng Yan. Who found her oddly familiar, but at the same time he only managed to catch a glance of her side view.. However, he moved on and went to the VIP cabin where his friends were.

Shan Qi: That scumbag Zhou Yang! Who does he think he is?! Chris Hemsworth?
Yi Han: The wedding is just a month away, i'm so frustrated..How do i answer to the elders?
Shan Qi: I'm telling you to call off the wedding and let everyone know he cheated! Give him the ultimatum!
Yi Han: Shan Qi..look at me..i'm already soon to be 30, do you think i still have the chance to fall in love again? I'm not like you, young and beautiful.
Shan Qi: Yi Han what are you talking about! A woman passed 30 has her own charm, one day you will still meet someone who loves you and be happily married!

After a few hours of binge drinking, both Shan Qi and Yi Han were intoxicated by the amount of alcohol they drank. Their moods were lifted, laughing, giggling and stumbling their way out of the bar, trying to balance their body.
As they made their way out the bar, at the bar entrance Yi Han loses balance and stumbled upon a man who was standing near the entrance.
She could feel his toned biceps, and his silky smooth shirt that was rolled up to his elbows. A touch of masculine fragrance scent traveled up her nose. She struggled to open her eyes and tries to regain her balance, but her legs gave way and tumble towards the man.
