*Knock Knock*
"Sir, your appointment with Xin News is here." Chen-xi knocked on the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that state "CEO's Office".
Feng Yan who was attending to some documents at his desk stood up, standing at 1.8m tall, with his hair stylishly coiffed and slightly tousled in a polished manner. His physique was ideal with a blend of strength and fitness that isn't too muscular.
In his tailored Tom Ford suit, he buttoned up his blazer before extending a handshake to Yi Han, who was mesmerized by his alluring charm.
"He..Hello Mr Feng, nice to meet you. I'm Liu Yi Han, producer from Xin News" Yi Han quickly snap back to reality and introduces herself to Feng Yan.
"Nice to meet you too Ms Liu, thank you for coming over today, please, have a seat." His response was short yet charismatic. Feng Yan took a casual glance at Yi Han before sitting down on his luxe cushioned sofa, as he adjusted his thin framed eyeglasses on his nose bridge that made him look much more sophisticated and refined.
"This woman..." Feng Yan thought to himself, recalling the drunken scene outside The Hex Bar a few days ago. He was certain that the lady was actually Yi Han, but also convinced that she was too drunk that night since she didn't recognize him at all.

Yi Han: Mr Feng, shall we begin?
Feng Yan: The time is yours.
Yi Han: I have prepared some documents here regarding the show's outline. I think our viewers will be most interested in the international markets that you have expanded into, the key international markets, financial forecasts and of course some exclusive insider insights will be great!
Feng Yan: Your outline is carefully planned and I have no issues with them. I can provide some informative insights for the live too.
Yi Han: Thank you! We will also be preparing a live Q&A session virtually from viewers who want to ask questions before ending. I'm not too sure if Mr Feng is ok with that ?
Feng Yan: Sounds reasonable for viewers to ask questions.
Yi Han: That's great! Thank you so much for your time today Mr Feng! I will bring these back and send you the final copy.

The meeting was fruitful and concluded smoothly without any hiccups. Couple minutes later, Chen-xi knocked on the doors to notify Feng Yan of his lunch appointment. "Sir, shall we make a move for your lunch appointment with Director Ma?" Chen-xi asked politely.
"Mhm, let's go. Ms Liu, I'll see you out." Feng Yan commented since Yi Han is also leaving the office.
3 of them took the elevator to the lobby, where Yi Han politely thanked Feng Yan again for his time today before bidding goodbye.
"Yi Han! You're finally here! I'm famished, let's grab lunch!" Shan Qi jumped towards Yi Han after catching her at the lobby, also hoping to catch a glimpse of the mysterious CEO, who didn't know what Feng Yan looks like.
Yi Han was slightly embarrassed that Shan Qi interrupted the 'goodbye' conversation between her and Feng Yan. She nodded with an awkward smile in return to Feng Yan. While Shan Qi was staring at Feng Yan like she's about to devour him.
Feng Yan nodded in response as a form saying goodbye and boarded his black Mercedes that arrived at the building entrance.
Yi Han and Shan Qi made their move and walked towards the traffic light while waiting to cross the road. At that moment, Zhou Yang who spotted them across the road appears to be heading towards the same office building, coincidentally bumping into both of the women. Shan Qi's eyebrow creases seeing that cheater.

Zhou Yang: Yi Han? Didn't know you're here.
Yi Han: Oh, I am here for work matter. What about you?
Zhou Yang: Oh I see, same here, i am here to meet someone from Feng Capital for work matters.
Shan Qi: Oh really? I thought you had other more important matters with someone.
Zhou Yang: Huh? What are you talking about?
Yi Han: Zhou Yang you better run along! we are heading off for lunch now, i'll call you later!
Zhou Yang: Alright, be careful on your way Yi Han!

Yi Han gave her an elbow nudge warning her, knowing that Shan Qi was being sarcastic hinting about Zhou Yang's affair, she quickly ended the conversation between them and pulled the unhappy Shan Qi away, refraining her from talking.
While the conversation unfolds on the walkway, Feng Yan, who's in his car by the traffic light, slightly winded down the tinted window, enough to hear the entire conversation between them.
He then remembered the night outside The Hex Bar, when the drunken Shan Qi spilled the truth about Yi Han's relationship, being cheated on by her fiance. By judging what Shan Qi subtly hinted earlier, Feng Yan gradually assumes that the guy is Yi Han's fiance.
"Sir..Did you realize..?" Chen-xi asked, if Feng Yan noticed about Yi Han.
"You mean Liu Yi Han?" Feng Yan asked.
"She's the lady from that night outside Hex Bar...and.." Chen-xi answered
"And?" Feng Yan asked curiously.
"And the night where we almost crashed into her before visiting your grandfather, the lady who fainted on the road. It's such a small world!" Chen-xi explained.
What are the odds? Feng Yan was silent, but slightly captured by Yi Han's beauty since the night at Hex Bar as if he was under a spell. He thought she's like the best combination of beauty and brains, she's got a good knowledge about the industry and her job, he was impressed by her presentation earlier.

1pm, Coffee Cafe
"That guy is the CEO of Feng Capital Group?! How can he be hiding in the shadows?! He's drop dead gorgeous!" Shan Qi squealed like a fan girl would.
"He seemed pretty nice and polite to me throughout the meeting. It wasn't as intimidating as I thought it would be, " Yi Han commented, as she casually stirred her cup of coffee.
"Yi Han i'm telling you, don't miss this opportunity! If you become his girlfriend, the world is yours! That scumbag Zhou Yang would even have to treat you like a god and pray!" Shan Qi scoffed, the thought of mentioning Zhou Yang's name made her want to puke.
But suddenly, Shan Qi tilts her head as if she remembered something.
She grabbed Yi Han's wrist tightly with her jaws dropped open.
"Yi Han....that man..." her voice cracks with fear.
"I...remember that man!"
"He is the one outside The Hex Bar the other night! It's Feng Yan!" Shan Qi exclaimed, loud enough for the other customers to look into their direction.
"Yes it's him! I remember he was wearing glasses, I'm positive it's Feng Yan!"
Yi Han who froze upon hearing that. This is not happening, out of millions of guys in China, why has it got to be Feng Yan?!
"What...? Are you sure? Are you very very sure? Maybe it's just someone that looks like him?" Yi Han's eyes widened, recalling the night when she fell on him like a drunken stupor, it was like a slap to her face, a slap of embarrassment.
"I'm so dead.., he must have seen the drunken side of me! I'm still going to see him for my live show, where am i going to hide my face!" Yi Han buried her face with her hands helplessly.
"Um...Yi Han, Maybe it's not as bad as you think, I'm sure he separates work and life..besides he might not remember too, right? He probably has all the women surrounding him that he don't remember either!" Shan Qi tries to calm her down a little.
Just like that, the 2 women finally figured out who Feng Yan was.

A couple days later..
Yi Han would have to make a trip to Beijing to meet another shortlisted investment company that would be making an appearance on her Business Week show program. Yi Han thought this would be the best time to gather evidence of Zhou Yang's infidelity.
Yi Han informed Zhou Yang that she will have to go on a business trip for 4 days, but in fact it was just 2 days, so she could arrive back in time to get evidence of them together.
Yi Han arrived at the airport with Zhou Yang, holding hands while he managed her luggage. She wanted to remain calm in order not to raise suspicion about her motive.
"Zhou Yang be good while i'm away ok? Take care of yourself, i'll see you in 4 days." Yi Han gave a reluctant hug to Zhou Yang before entering the departure hall, concealing the hatred she had for him.
"You take care too, my little wife, hope everything goes smoothly for you, call me once you arrive in Beijing." Zhou Yang hugged her and watched her enter the departure hall.
As Yi Han turned her back on him, she took out her cell phone and texted Shan Qi.
"I'm on the way to Beijing, I'm counting on you! - Yi Han"
Shan Qi who was already in the airport parking lot, spying and waiting for Zhou Yang to appear before she could trail behind his car.
"You can count on me! I'm going to make that bastard beg for your forgiveness! - Shan Qi" She replied.
