10pm, The Continental Hotel

Feng Yan then fished out his cellphone from his blazer and sent a text message to Chen-xi.

"Look into a man named Zhou Yang, what business does he have with us. Give me details. - Feng Yan"

After a few glasses of drinks, both Zhou Yang and Lan Xin were feeling woozy and started getting closer to each other at the same time. Zhou Yang started placing his arms around her waist as they walked out the restaurant together.

Feng Yan and TianYou quietly watched them leave, knowing what will happen next.

2 days later...

Yi Han arrived back in Shanghai, and made her way to The Continental Hotel from the airport, hoping to catch Zhou Yang's affair, and determined to put an end to their relationship.

After arriving at the entrance of the hotel, she halted her steps and saw Zhou Yang exiting the elevator, however he was alone. The woman wasn't with him.

Zhou Yang was surprised to see Yi Han arriving at the hotel. "Didn't she say she will only return the day after? How Come she's here now?" Zhou Yang wonder, while trying to maintain his composure

Yi Han palms started sweating seeing Zhou Yang's smiling face and walking towards her direction.

"Yi Han? Howcome you're here? I thought you're supposed to return 2 days later?" Zhou Yang extended his hands to hold Yi Han's hands, pretending to be surprised to see her.

Unfortunately, Lan Xin had already left the hotel in the early hours before Yi Han's arrival.

Yi Han who was at a lost, not knowing what to say. Never did she expect to see him at the lobby without any woman beside him.

"Ms Liu? Shall we head to the conference room? The meeting is starting soon." Someone interrupted them.

...

It's a man's voice..It was Feng Yan.

Feng Yan, who had just arrived at the hotel for a conference at the same time as Yi Han, spotted her in the hotel lobby, looking at Zhou Yang helplessly. On the other hand, Zhou Yang did not know who he was, shot him the death stare for interrupting their conversation.

Upon hearing Feng Yan's words, Yi Han quickly turned the situation around and reacted accordingly.

"Sorry Zhou Yang, it was a last minute change of plans and there's an important meeting today, so i couldn't notify you in time." Yi Han quickly answered.

Zhou Yang felt something was off, but did not ponder much. However this time Yi Han took the chance and ask him instead. "Why are you here? Don't you have to go to the office?" the question that caught him off guard.

"Oh, i had some drinks with James last night, and was too drunk to go home, so I stayed here for the night. I was just about to call you and then you appeared." Zhou Yang executed an excuse at the right time.

"Oh...okay i have to go now..See you later Zhou Yang. " Yi Han excused herself and took the elevator with Feng Yan awkwardly.

"Mr Feng...just now that..thank you..." Yi Han thanked awkwardly, she didn't expect he would come to her rescue, even after knowing who he was.

"Don't mention it." Feng Yan responded in his usual demeanor.

Just when Yi Han stepped out of the elevator, she felt dizzy and her head was spinning as she stumbled her way out of the elevator.

Feng Yan saw her stumbling and supported her arms and shoulders without hesitation. He felt a sense of pity for her plight. Someone who should be happily married to the love of her life, but to only find out being betrayed.

"This woman..is always passing out in front of me..." Feng Yan kept the thought to himself, recalling the first time she fainted at the road and the night outside Hex Bar. He thought it was weird that he kept meeting her in situations like this. Is this fate?

A few minutes later, Yi Han finds herself in a suite room, and in the room there's Chen-xi, who was speaking to an in-house medical practitioner.

Yi Han: Mr Chen-xi?

Chen-xi: Ms Liu..you're awake. You fainted earlier and Mr Feng brought you here as he needs to attend a conference at level 5. Are you feeling ok?

Yi Han: I'm so sorry for the trouble..i should leave.

Chen-xi: Ms Liu wait...you're not in the condition to leave now, the doctor just checked your blood level and sugar level is too low, hence you often get fainting spells. Mr Feng has arranged food to be delivered here, you should eat and rest awhile before leaving.

Yi Han: But..

Chen-xi: Ms Liu please rest awhile more, it's Mr Feng's kind gesture.

Yi Han reluctantly accepted the offer, thinking that she shouldn't offend Feng Yan, for the sake of her Business Time live show and decided to stay in the suite awhile more before leaving. She looked around the room and couldn't help but worry that it's going to inflict more cost to repay him.

As the food was being delivered, the staff brought some light refreshments, some sweet pastries and pasta, these foods are known to aid in improving sugar level. She wondered if this is purely coincidence or an act of concern. Nonetheless, she enjoyed the high quality made food from a luxury 5 star hotel.

Yi Han felt better after eating and decided to thank Feng Yan in person before leaving, so she looked it up online to find out the conference event will only end in 2 hours time. She decided to wait for him outside the conference room while working on her laptop.

Two hours later

Feng Yan emerged from the conference room, and saw Yi Han on her laptop in the lounge. Chen-xi notified him that she had waited for 2 hours, he walked towards Yi Han, while looking at her in her full concentration mode.

"Feeling better?" Feng Yan's voice broke her concentration, she was startled. "Yes, Mr Feng...thank you for earlier and I apologize for the inconvenience. Here, please accept it." Yi Han handed over an envelope to him.

"I..i have to go now, thank you Mr Feng and Mr Chen-xi! I will send you the details of the Business Times live show soon! " Yi Han thanked and scurry off, even without Feng Yan could say anything.

Feng Yan looked at Chen-xi, both of them looked puzzled. Feng Yan opened the envelope to find some cash and a small note that says

"Mr Feng, i am sorry for the trouble and thank you for the hospitality for today and the other night that we troubled you outside Hex Bar. - Liu Yi Han"

"Money?" Feng Yan held a small stack of cash and let out a faint smile to himself, finding it amusing.

It's the first time a woman gave him money, instead of asking him for money. He couldn't help but to be captivated by her.

At the same time, Chen-xi also handed a document to him.

"Sir, these are the details about the man you asked for, he's currently in talk with Manager Zhang about a joint investment in district 6 properties, but hasnt been processed for approval yet" Chen-xi explained.
