Little Memories From The Past

I woke up early today even though there are some dispute against my heart and mind about my dad I still loves him . One thing I know that can make his day is freshly made picnic basket.

I sliced some fruits , make sandwiches , pack juices and tea , now what else I thought to my self as looked at the prepared basket as I was adding freshly baked cake in basket . Oh shoot I forgot to add some books and camera , I thought to myself I hope today makes his day .

I thougth as I walked out of the kitchen and looked behind the mess I created in the kitchen, I pick a towel and told myself it won't take long to clean this mess even though I know it was exact opposite

"Valery my baby , you don't have to do that much " my dad told me as he was smiling ear to ear .

"Oh come on I just put a little effort " I told him.

"Little I am damn sure you been working on that since early morning every thing looks fresh , well good thing for you cause your old man is on cheat day " laughed as he told me .

"So how was your days going " I asked him .

Its hard to hold my tears cause I been soo resentful of him all this years growing up never got to know his side of story . I don't know why my emotions are changing this fast at this rate I migth started to like ones I hate .

" I don't know about other day but today I am very happy Valery " he told me .

"You see that spot over there " he asked me .

"Yeah the one covered with trees and there's a seat "I asked him following him finger where it was pointing.

"Yea that's where your mom and I first met " he told me as he take a bite our of sandwich.

"Really like how long ago?" I asked him quite surprise at his confession.

"21 years ago , she heard me play guitar and she came to say she like it , found it unique I gotta say when I looked at her I think my heart skip a beat maybe few or more " he told me .

" then what happened?" I asked him.

"Well Someone seems interested in my love for once " he chuckled as he said this .

"Yea I realised I don't get to spend much time with you and you are fun person like me " I told me .

"Like you lol I am dad " he said laughing his heart out .

"Well long story short I give her my number you know guy like me got no chance with her but look at me now " he said .

"Well good for you to make a move on rigth time "I told him .

"Yea good for me "he told me.

I guess I can let him be happier for a day asking about how they got to this point is not a good thing I remind my self .

"Soo do you have anyone special in your life ?" He asked.

"Not that I can remember " I told him .

"What about Ace ?" He asked .

" what about him ?" I asked him , he can't be asking that became we work together rigth .

"Well he was your best friend since childhood, so I always thought you gonna end up together , you know how much he was protective around you " he told .

"Actually I don't remember much, thanks to the shooting idea i lost most of my memories seeing that he is avoiding me as much as he can I think I might have done something stupid "I told him.

"Like what exactly?" He asked .

"Maybe he confessed and i reject him " I told him.

"Ohh my I told your mom it wasn't a good idea to give you those meds during shoot " he told me .

" But I thought you were the one agreed to it for my sake " I asked him , maybe I should have heard his side of story.

"You know I would never do that to you , remember the time when ace thought i was your maid because things got messy in kitchen "he told me.

I laugh "really does that even happen "

"You better believe me girl " he told me.

"Well can I hear you play guitar sometime?" I asked him.

"How about next time you came visit me ?" He asked .

" why not "I told him ad I hugged him .

Now that I remember all my life my dad was there for me , mom was busy at work while dad works from home for mysake .

The day went by really amazingly , we ate , we talked , we laughed together something I did after a long time , I came to conclusion that i should meet him more from now on.
