The Remote

He pulled and kissed me. At first I tried to resist but then instead of pushing I actually started to kiss him back. For days I have been thinking of him. I have always been running away from my feelings. For days I conflicted between him and my rules. I have always been a law abiding citizen of Z22 but in few weeks in Earth and I broke thousands of rules so, I thought even if one gets added in thousands does it matter?

So, I didn't stop and kept kissing. No one could separate us. The tension between us was too much. We wanted each other for days but always ran away from our feelings. It felt he wanted the same thing as well.

We now heard a sound of breaking. We went inside looking and saw a giant enter. I was really scared seeing a giant. I saw Elijah fell unconscious by seeing this giant. I felt unusual because Elijah is a type of guy who doesn't easily gets scared.

But right now my priority was fighting the giant. I used my electric power but it didn't work at all. I ran through the doors forgetting about my wand which had powers of sound and heat and sun.

I reached Elijah's room and the monster attacked me. I fell down on the bed and my wand fell out.

I was searching for something yo attack and saw my wand. I picked it up and attacked him with the power of sun and defeated him.

I was now drained out of powers because using a wand to serialize powers used more power than using the powers in our blood.

I was lucky that Zoa came in flying and pulled the main circuit wire with her to help me.

I was charged and now thanked Zoa and went down.

I saw Elijah still unconscious which was again unusual. I saw a glass on the bar. I reached it and smelled it. It smells very known. I asked Zoa to test it. She tested it and said "It is a charm spell. Excess of charm spell caused him to get high and speak out everything in his heart."

I didn't know excess of charm spell has this effect.

Zoa again after a little thinking asked "E19 but....did he say or do something?"

I was now scared of what to tell her about the thing that happened. But I had to tell her after all she was my partner "He kinda kissed me."

"What!!!"

I didn't say anything else. Then Zoa calmed down and asked "did you like it?"

"Ummm.....what"

"The kiss."

"Yes.....I guess."

"Tomorrow we find the remote and leave. let the government of Z22 decide about the attack on Earth."

It seemed like an ultimatum from Zoa's side. I followed her out then to home.

I saw Linda excited actually she is kind of more excited of the fact that I am dating my handsome boss.

I didn't talk to her and left. I was sitting on the bed thinking about everything that happened and the kiss continued repeating.

Tomorrow Morning we went to the office and first I searched for the research department to steal the remote.

I clashed with Leo though but I had to run. I finally found the department.

I was also the head of research so, my pass helped me in.

I went inside and saw a lots of gadgets there for me they were very old. I mean for us those instruments were kind of outdated.

Searching for it was a little challenging because it was well hidden. I and Zoa both searched for it but didn't find it.

After sometime I finally found it. it was stored in unbreakable glass jar. Nothing though is exactly unbreakable everything has a breakthrough.

I always love to find breakthrough but here that I had the pass I did not need to find the breakthrough.

I used my pass to open the glass vault and took the gem or my remote out.

We moved out and went back to our seats telling no one about the facet theta I had taken out the remote or the gem that they wanted to research on.

I kept working when suddenly a researcher came running and specifically met Elijah. He said it was important and entered the room even in the middle of a meeting in which I said I didn't want to come because I had to steal the gem.

I saw from the glass door every reaction they gave. Elijah was shocked and actually stood up of the chair. Everyone was on shock.

I was now called in. When I entered Elijah was stressed. He said "Ari the....the gem....it .....it is gone."

Adi was also there when he said that. I could see his reaction change as well.

I could not lie but in this case I can't even tell the truth. He shouted on the scientist "How could you be so careless? That gem could have been the changing point of the world. The most unique kind of a gem it is."

I saw the scientist was very sad and feeling guilty. I wasn't feeling less because I stole it and instead of me getting scolded it's a man who did nothing. I now kept thinking if I also changed into Catherine.

Adi interrupted and said "It is time sir, we have to leave."

I and Elijah took the car and went to the psychiatrist. I was still guilty. That guilt was almost killing me.

We reached the psychiatrist and he said that "Elijah is improving and his sleep pattern in actually getting stabilized but it seems that today I see he is stressed and depressed which might be a negative effect on his sleeping pattern."

I was the reason of this depression.

I returned back to home and Elijah said that he wanted to stay in office.

Zoa was happy that the remote might help us return home but I was still not okay with the fact of stealing and lying.

As expected Elijah kept sitting and thinking about how to find the thief and didn't sleep breaking his sleep pattern.

At early morning Elijah got an idea and called everyone and said "We can see who stole the gem by CCTV footage. Take out all the CCTV footage of yesterday and show it to me. Who did that would be clear."

All of them agreed to their boss and the security was informed to take all the footage to them.

They saw the CCTV footage and Elijah said "I need to meet Ari."
