Test?

I aksed that guy "But I applied for head researcher." Though I still didn't know what I have to research for.

I was sitting on a chair and a big conference table was infront of me in a big hall. I was sitting on one end and the interviewer was sitting on another end.

While talking to that guy I was facing towards him and the table was right beside me. He banged the table beside me and lowered his body.

He was few inches away from me with his hands right on the table touching my skin. I felt a chil at first when he actually touched my skin which was right beside the table.

He said in his cold voice "I am the boss and I decide where and for who you work. Finding a job is no easy task." I wanted to say "with the marks on that report card it is totally an easy job."

But I don't know why I couldn't breathe and I was feeling a chill and I also could not move. I felt like something was overpowering me. I bet Zoa knew what was overpowering me.

Zoa said "E19 move away or else you might freeze for eternity or do something inappropriate."

As soon as she said I slid the chair backwards. He returned back to his senses and looked to the interviewer and said "prepare the papers and ask her to join from Monday."

I saw the interviewer hesitated but still asked "si...sir di..did the previous one left?"

He turned back and saw a look dangerous enough to burn someone but he said "hmmm."

He waited for a minute and there was a complete silence in the room. Then he said "And you know what.....I fired her."

The interviewer was shocked but didn't dare to ask why?

He continued and said "she said I took a weird test of her and she failed to pass the test so, I ordered her to leave. Though I don't even remember doing that."

That is weird now, How could a man possibly forget about what he did. This man is really weird and not to mention kinda bossy and arrogant.

He now turns towards me and says "miss if I ever test you or something please remember I really don't want to. And ya you are hired."

The interviewer left the room saying visit the HR.

Now the problem was where is the HR? I tried to search but couldn't find out when I suddenly felt a tall body behind me.

I turned back to see who it was. He was the man with whom I clashed this morning.

He said "Hello miss"

"ohh hello😬." I gave the weirdest smile possible because of the careless attitude I showed in the morning.

He casually asked me "did you get it?"

"what? did I get what?.....ohhh yeah I got the interview room."

"no, not the interview room."

"then? was I supposed to get something more?"

"The Job."

"ohhhhhhh!!!! yeah, I did but not the one I applied for."

He looked at me confused and asked "what??? you got the job that you didn't apply for?🤨🤨"

"yeah, A black suit guy came in and said be my secretary."

"You are talking about my brother?"

"your brother?"

"yeah, my brother. Elijah smith the CEO of Sunbay mall."

"s..s..so I... am... supposed.... to assist...the damn big head of the company!!!!!!" I literally shouted inside his ears.

He blocked his ears with his hands and said "ouch... stop shouting in my ears."

"oh sorry."

"why the heck are you so surprised?"

"because I have no experience and I got that high position."

"you know what, let's go and sit there and eat."

I followed him and then we had our introductions

He said "so, I am CEO's brother and right now I am learning from him because I kinda know nothing and he is a business tycoon. My name is Leonard but my friends calls me Leo so can you."

I smiled and said "so I am Ari."

"...." He was staring at me and I didn't understood why, So I smiled.

There was silence for a minute like he was waiting for something more. We rounded eyes and moved towards each other trying to read what is in our heads and then he spoke up

"and....."

"and?"

"come on Ari I told you so many things and you just told me your name."

So he was expecting something more in intro.

I said "sorry actually in our planet.....😳"

"aye?🤨🤨🤨 what did you say?"

I knew my mistake and changed it "in our P...P..Place by introduction we mean just names and nothing else."

"ohh."

I was relieved and I saw Zoa looking at me with those bloody eyes intending to kill me.

Then he again started "you are going to work here and mainly my bro. So let me tell you about him...

He is the great Elijah Smith of Sunbay mall. Everyone knows his name and power. He is nothing but next to perfect. He has a perfect figure and face and dressing sense. Every little girl in this world fancies him because of his immense handsome face. He is known as a plaboy and changes his girlfriend like he changes shirts. His recent girlfriend is the longest he has been with and her name is Catherine. They have together for about 6 months now. He is damb cold and serious. He lost his mother when he was just 8 years. His father married again with my mother and according to that I am his step brother but we both love each other like real ones. I am always a little talkative and outgoing whereas he is silent and a workaholic. I am least interested in working with the company but my mother always forces me to do the office business. He wants me to be better than Elijah, but he is perfect and I can never be him. He also pulls me out of the room to keep me inside the office."

I was shocked but he told me everything without getting tired. Well that is a miracle that an Earthling can speak so much but the problem was he spoke so fast that I understood nothing. I was about to say "what? can you repeat?" but then I thought "no! he took so much effort to speak so much I shouldn't do this." So, I just nodded and kept eating with my head down whereas he continued talking.

It was evening and we were sitting near the water body and Zoa told me "now it is time to search for a home."

"hmmm" I agree though we can spent night in the broken ship but it is not like we will be staying for a night but might be we will stay for many nights and search for the remote. So, better start searching for one.

But then I had a question coming "Zoa that guy said 'Monday' so, what is monday?"

Zoa said "Earthling divides there there days as weeks, months and days. So monday is a day from where week starts and ends at sunday."

Weeks and months was something we also used but not days.

"Zoa so, when exactly do I have to join?"

"after 2 days."

"2 days??? but why?"

"here there is holidays on Saturdays and Sundays. Every place has two days holidays but it differs from country to country."

But I have one more doubt "Zoa but what happened when that Elijah came near me?"
