I Love You

I walked back to the restaurant without the gem or Elijah. I walked broken.

I entered the restaurant and walked upstairs to my bedroom. I heard Linda calling me.

At that particular time I didn't know what to say or do. I just kept walking.

Zoa came flying in the reataraunt when Linda asked her "Zoa...what happened to her?"

Zoa was not there when I was caught and really didn't know anything "I don't know anything Linda. I will go up and ask her."

She came flying to me but I closed the door on her face and sat down.

Z22 people never used to cry but tear glands were still there in our bodies.

Today was the first time when water came out through my eyes. I didn't notice water on my face but it just flowed down my face uncontrolled.

Zoa couldn't enter the room from the door so, she flew down and then entered from the window.

She came in and shouted. That was the first time I spoke "What are you doing Zoa!!!!!!?"

"Y...you are leaking."

I understood what he was talking about "These are known as tears on Earth."

She frowned for sometime and said "I know that."

"Then why did you shout?"

"Because there has to be a reason for you to cry but you have none."

I kept crying and didn't say a word when Linda came knocking at the door and said "It's ok Ari.....Elijah was not worth it and mostly he is known as a playboy and you became it's victim."

It confused me and I opened the door and asked "What are you talking about Linda?"

"This" she now showed me the trending news.

The news trending was "CEO Mr Elijah Smith broke up with his girlfriend and secretary Ms Ari Edwards and also fired her. The rumors say that Elijah didn't want a past relationship effect his work and that is the only reason for firing her. As of the break up, it is said that Elijah's brother Leonard Smith was in a room where fire broke out and Ari was the one to save him and to save him she used artificial respiration. It seemed like a kiss and that is when we saw Elijah angrily asking Ari to come along with him. So, that is the suspected reason."

Zoa didn't understand the reason of me crying because we were anyhow going to leave so, why to cry?

AT ELIJAH'S HOUSE.....

I was in my room which had blue background and a big window. I was looking out at the sky holding a beer can.

I still couldn't forget Ari, why? Like many she was also one of the lady's I made my girlfriend and broke up. I never drink so much after a breakup then why today? Why behind a girl I don't even know properly?

Why did it had to be her? she stole the gem. I can't believe it. She should have asked for anything and I would have given her.

We are hitting the headlines again but this time the feeling was different. The break up seemed to be real. It pained when I said those words.

It pains to see the news. I switched of the news.

I went for a walk instead. It was night by now and driving under the stars always felt nice.

ARI'S HOUSE....

Linda hugged me and said "He fired you..... don't worry you will work here with me and I won't ask you for rent or food bills and shopping. Enough for salary isn't it."

It was too much because after this I wish to go home more than ever and also I had a whole shopping mall inside what would I need? I don't even need to eat. As for place to say....I am the child of Evans.

After Linda went down, I and Zoa started talking.

Zoa asked me "Ari why are you leaking or in Earthling language....crying? doesn't that happen only when you are too sad or too happy. what are you? Sad? or Happy?"

Happy? what happened to me that could make me happy? I lost my planet, Remote, spaceship, job and....Elijah.

I said "Zoa there is nothing anymore that can make me happy."

Zoa was taken aback and said "Ari, We will be going home in few days. What else do you want to make you happy?"

"We are not...." And I broke down. I cried more and more. After some seconds I found my voice to speak again "El...Eli...Elijah found the....gem in my bag." I again started to cry.

"that is the reason he broke up with you?"

I said nothing but kept crying. Zoa understood the answer without me saying anything. She always did.

That night I couldn't sleep.

At Elijah's house it was the same case.

Neither me nor him slept the whole night and the most astonishing fact was Leo also didn't sleep the whole night because he felt the break up was because of him.

We all stayed awake the whole night looking outside the windows from our respective houses. We three shared the same connections with the stars.

Next morning I didn't come to office and Catherine knew very well how and when and where to attack.

She knew, right now I am not around and won't be able to break the magic that she does to Elijah.

She went inside Elijah's office and gave him excessive of charm potion. As soon as he drunk the wine with that amount of charm potion, he fell down loosing his consciousness.

Catherine made sounds "Elijah....Elijah...Elijah!!!" Not that she cared but humanity you know.

Adi knew about us being broken up and about the gem but he called me to inform this because he thought we loved each other or else never have Elijah ever taken the blame of anything on him but this time with the gen he just saved me from getting behind the bars.

I received the call "Hello?"

"Ari? It's Adi this side."

I said nothing but about the disconnect when he said "Please don't hang up. This is important." I now placed the phone back to my ears to hear what he was about to say.

"Ari, Elijah is unconscious out of the sudden."

I couldn't help but wonder what happened "What!!!? but why? ho...." Then it clicked "Adi, was there someone else in the room as well?"

Then came out the name I was expecting "Catherine."

Excess of charm spell did it. I told her about this. Human body cannot take so much of charm spell it's very dangerous. I now had no option but to reach out to Elijah.

I left all the work and ran. I saw Linda try to stop me but it was of no use. I knew I had to run.

I reached his office and found a lots of crowd near his cabin. I rushed inside and saw Elijah unconcious.

"Elijah!!!!" I shouted and ran towards him.

He fell down behind his table, pushing the table a little aside. I sat on the ground with him and tapped his face "Elijah!! get up."

I saw Catherine was not much pleased after seeing me but didn't care.

I saw Elijah moving his hands a little. He held my hands and said very weakly

"I LOVE YOU."
